Welp. I pre-ordered Heavensward CE. I'm against the small size of the statue + the lack of physical items for that amount of money but I knew, I KNEW, that I would break down eventually and get it. Why even bother resisting.

Thanks... had I not checked this thread, I would have totally missed out on the steelbook. Ordered (hopefully) in time for the pre-order bonus. Will have to triple dip now to get the US version of the game...already have the PS3 CE version of the game.

Rainbow Six Siege CE announced releases Oct 13th. Uplay preorders received a exclusive numbered steel book.

Edit: looks like the UK date and Colllector Editions. NA edition will be revealed at another time.

According to the game's website, it is exclusive to UPlay. Pretty surprised that they went this route. Maybe GS and Amazon are tired of getting stuck with all that extra stock each year.

Once again, it's a Ubisoft CE without a steelbook, which makes about as much sense as tits on a bull.

We'll have to see if they make it as a separate edition only on the Ubi store, or if it's available as a separate option.

 
My Witcher 3 steelbook shipped out from BB today.  Should probably have it on Tuesday, maybe Monday.

EDIT: Witcher 3 also shipped out as well.  Non-CE PS4 from BB, as my CE XB1 is coming from GS.

I read an article that had something in the comments that mentioned that the PS1 and PS2 have hardware RNG chips and the PS4 does not.

I heard from a guy who knows a guy that saw some dude.....

Actually, I imagine it's a very east fuckup. Many RNG's are based on the clock speeds of the hardware. This is one of those things that needs to get addressed almost every time GOG ports an old game to modern PC. And regardless, I would expect a patch to fix it.
 
I'm getting worried about my bestbuy not having enough steelbooks for instore pre orders and I have class before they open on tuesday smh

Yeah, hoping its not an issue with mine either. I had preordered before the SKU was live for the steelbook, and though I was told by the BBY forums that they'd have me covered, I'm still planning on taking a VERY early lunch break (if I can get away that is) to get my extra steelbook... also, these better be steelbooks and not that metalpak garbage! :)
