This sale still worked with the link you provided. AC book was $6.49 and Far Cry 4 book was $7.01. Free shipping is still an option also. I just bought these.

 
I don't buy collectors editions often, so I apologize if this is a common question, but how often do these things come back in stock? I want the one for MGSV, but Target just ran out of PS4 stock and I can't find anyone else offering the preorder. Is there a good chance stores will reopen preorders at some point before September?

You'd want to check back at amazon the during the last week before the release. Some people who Got lucky PO with Amazon and BBy are just holding on to amazon PO til the last minute just as a backup for BBy. Some stock will pop up during that time due to canceled orders so i would be patient and vigilant.

I just got my FFX/X-2 Limited Edition Steelbook from Amazon UK. I'm really happy with the quality of the Steelbook and the slipcover, as others in this thread have stated. I was also really happy with the packaging (cardboard mailer instead of a bubble mailer) and the shipping speed (took about a week to get here). It was a great experience all around for me, and I'll be less hesitant to import from Amazon UK in the future.

I have a question though, if they do release a patch to fix the broken RNG issue, will I be able to patch the PAL version of the game via my US PSN account or will I have to create a European PSN account, similar to as if I was trying to download DLCs for a PAL version? Anyone have any insight?

Same sentiment here. Mine arrived today as well, I was amazed on how fast it got here considering it was just a couple bucks for shipping. The cardboard mailer concern me a little at first, but everything seemed to be fine inside.

Now I'm debating on whether I should open it. Don't have a PS4 yet, so it would just so I could fully inspect everything but as it is it looks to be flawless.

If it weren't for the RNG error it would be a perfect purchase.

I assume that since PS4 games are region free (meaning, same game for both US and EU) you should be able to download and install the patch (if ever made available) by normal means.

I apparently preordered Witcher 3 from Walmart since it showed up today. I checked best buy and amazon, I can't remember when I last logged in on Walmart. At least I can return it to store. I'd keep it, but I still haven't used my Black Friday PS4 (lol or is it :( )

 
I'm just waiting on FFX LE to be on sale for $40 at bestbuy so I can get that calendar and sell the game that comes with it and keep the one from amazon UK.

For the guy asking about patching the PAL FFX.... You will just need to make a free alt account. You should have one already. They have neat freebies and different demos anyhow.

It goes in and out of stock...best bet is to keep clicking on the buy it button when it shows that it is available from Amazon. At least that's how I was able to get one yesterday! Good luck!

 
Ooh, I thought I was gonna be SOL on that Witcher steelbook since I pre-ordered @ BBY before it was added, but their CS posted this:

Pre-orders that were placed prior to the SteelBook offer going live should still receive said SteelBook. If you were told otherwise, I do apologize for this.

From what we’re seeing, pretty much all of our stores have now received their SteelBooks, including the stores you mentioned above. If your pre-orders qualified for the SteelBook (pre-ordered on or before April 26th), then you should head back into your store.

If for any reason you run into issues, please ask for a supervisor or manager, as they should certainly be able to assist.

Was the steel book for FFX and x2 shipped separately from Amazon UK? I got the package today and it only had the game in it.
 
Anyone know where the best trade-in value of the Witcher 3 is? I've come to the realization that I'm not going to be getting to it anytime soon and want to defray the cost of the CE a little bit.

I was wondering the same thing. I was planning on trading in my disk later on today. According to Best Buy's online trade-in calculator, they are only giving $28 for it already. I'm not sure what Game Stop is giving, but if I can only get $28 on it then I'll probably just hold on to it.

It looks like GS is giving $33 for it on both systems, maybe more with this random promo they are running.

I ended up doing the same thing. I wanted the XBone exclusive goodies so I bought both the PS4 and Xbone versions and just swapped the extras mini-box between the two. I'll probably just end up parting out the Xbox version on eBay.4

Interestingly, the Xbox One version of the CE came with a sealed version of the game, while both of my PS4 versions came with unsealed games. I wonder why.

Same here. I kept seeing it come in and out of stock over the past couple of days. Even had it say it was in stock until adding to the cart. But was finally able to secure one at 1:27PM PST today for the Xbox One version. Was going to get the PC or PS4 version, but found that the XO has exclusive cloth map and gwent card decks.

 
My OMS Xbone version was pretty much already open, so I opened it up. It's really neat inside. It makes it extremely easy to keep everything but the statue+outer box, because everything else inside in in another box.

 
Most people got all butthurt over that image that was shown months ago from an "unboxing" and the quality of it.  Also usually any CE that comes with a statue people start complaining about stuff like the Max Payne one.

could be left overs, late pallet delivery, last minute cancellations.. or anything really i don't think it's necessarily people not wanting it. it's still sold out everywhere and was only up for about half an hour from what i saw.

i'm really glad i was able to get a back order on this i haven't read of amazon not fulfilling them but if anyone's still looking to get one i highly recommend stalking the page and refreshing to get an order in

The statue for the witcher 3 CE is really well made. Nice amount of detail to everything and well painted. The only thing you can fault it with is maybe geralts face and his lack of pupils. It's 5 pounds, so I'm the under the impression that it is made of polystone as advertised.

Plus all the other loot is nice as well.

 
Went in to a GS and saw a Witcher 3 LE for sale.  I haven't been following it really.  I should have reserved it on GCU :(  Oh well!

 
I have a $20 cert expiring in july 11 and hoping that batman arkham knight limited edition restocks or something. Is it safe to say that it won't get restocked at all due to high demand or maybe a few will be available after release day? I'd also like to use a mover's coupon on it if it does restock.
 
Best Buy doesnt seem to get too many CE's restocked.  Its possible there may be CC cancelations from people who dont update old info though.

After reading the few posts about the eyeless Geralt statue I looked closely at mine and he is missing eyes as well.

 
I ordered the ffx limited edition from amazon uk on may 19 and haven't been charged yet. The tracking says dispatched and on its way. Do they really take that long to charge you

I was charged when it shipped. If you didn't get it in the mail today, you might want to contact them. They might have some sort of tracking on their side even if they didn't share it on your account.
