Bloodborne even got restocked for a while, but it was about 10 to 14 days later.

Yep, just opened the game. Came with the skin too which I believe everybody is getting.

To be honest, I came to not expect much from $100-$120 CEs, but then Witcher III CE came along and I now tend to hold all $100-$120 CEs to that standard.

Well the Witcher 3 CE is $150, $50 more than Arkham Knight LE.
 
Anyone who had the Batmobile ordered through GS, is there still an authorization on your account for it? Mine's been sitting there for a week now, figured GS would have removed it by now

Authorizations can take up to 7-10 business days to drop off. I'd wait until tomorrow and if still there, call your credit card company and let them know about it.

Mine finally dropped off this morning. I also noticed they formally sent me an e-mail this morning saying my order had been cancelled. Not sure if the two things were connected. I guess the first e-mail was just a mass notification to everyone.

That doesn't surprise me one bit. Best Buy tends to go above and beyond in these types of things, while Gamestop usually doesn't give a shit.

However, if anybody should be doing anything it should be the publisher of the game. It's not like you could have gone to another retailer to get the game - nobody had it, because the publisher decided to cancel it.

 
Amazon never cancelled my PS4 Batmobile. I contacted CS a couple times about it, and they kept assuring me I'd still get it for some reason. I kept expecting a cancellation email, but instead just got an email that my delivery date has been changed from "Delivery estimate: We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date" to "Arriving Mon, Jul 20 - Wed, Jul 29." Realistically I know I'm not getting it, but I just found it funny. Did this happen to anyone else?

That they were manufactured, nothing is wrong with them, they had tons of LE's left that weren't going to sell, so they cancelled bat mobile to boost LE sales, only to release bat mobile later since they know there is enough demand to still sell it out.

I didn't ask what your delusional theory was. I asked how what he said supported it. Every retailer has cancelled them so I don't see how your theory has any ground to stand on as of this moment.

Perpetuates my theory that they will be available, like I originally said, 1-2 months after release. Amazon hasn't cancelled it because they have been told it will be available during that time frame.

And like I said before, multiple times, it's a theory.

The cancellation of the bat mobile has not been formally acknowledged. Simply a last second complete cancellation. You know all that product was produced months ago and went through quality control a long time ago... Not days before release. since there hasn't been a solid explanation, moving LE units makes the most sense to me.

Except there are others who have said Amazon has cancelled their order and they got a $20 coupon or something like that for the base game. Triforce posted stuff on their Twitter as well. And most sites besides target and Walmart had already sold out of their LE stock.

I am sure a lot of people would be super pissed if they ended up announcing something like"hey we fixed the quality issue in production and please rebuy them again at $200 a piece".

After seeing the statue I am glad my batmobile edition got cancelled (I ended up buying the LE).
 
I didn't have a Batmobile edition pre-ordered, but I feel like those who did should have at least been sent a season pass...maybe even a steelbook case.

People hate on them so much, but Best Buy is really the only sensible place for a gamer to shop nowadays aside from eBay and Amazon. Hell, back when HDDVD lost the format war to Blu-ray, they gave everyone with an Xbox 360 HDDVD player a $50 gift card...

Considering they waited until the last minute to reveal the cancellation and thus many gamers have had to wait for charges to be refunded on their cards (some are still waiting), I'd say that they're entitled to some form of compensation. There's no excuse for how they've handled the situation, and the fact that they released a broken PC version doesn't help their side of the case either. Giving away digital content (season pass) would have been the easiest way to apologize, and a lot of those who pre-ordered it would have likely been satisfied with the trade-off. It's called valuing the consumer, and Ubisoft learned that lesson last year and responded rather well...

This in a nutshell^ GS sucks, PERIOD! If you have a relationship with a manager or sales person, you can get some pretty good treatment, but anything to do with corporate is a loose/loose proposition. Technically, this was cancelled due to the publisher, so GS would really be loosing money to offer $50 to tons of cancellations, so I understand that. It's not like they goofed up and over sold, so in this situation, they are good.

In the past, they have over sold, or cancelled orders and the customer can no longer get the item elsewhere, and they should offer at least some store credit, or even some player points, buy they are cheap bastards and would never do such a thing. I only deal with them, when I have a friend working there to deal with, otherwise it's very rare I ever deal with GS.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they kicked out the Batman Arkham Knight Game of the Year Edition with a Batmobile Edition along side it.  I'm sure everyone involved in making those Batmobiles still wants to see them made one way or another.

Smart Phone Compatibility

We have new information on the phones compatible with the Pip-Boy Edition. The Pip-Boy included will have foam inserts that fit iPhone 6, iPhone 5/5s, iPhone 4/4S, Samsung Galaxy 5, and Samsung Galaxy 4. In addition, using the customizable foam insert you should be able to fit most other popular smartphone devices. As we wanted to stay faithful to the dimensions of the in-game model, any smartphones larger than the models listed will not fit inside the wearable device. Square Enix has announced a player-driven Collector’s Edition for the early 2016-due Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Fans will be able to influence and shape the contents of the Collector’s Edition. An Adam Jensen Replica Statue, Mini Art Book, a Replica Weapon and Pin Set, among others, are up for selection to be included in the Collector’s Edition until July 3. You can throw in your vote over at the game’s official website.
