Anyone here got the order 1886 Premium Edition? (not the CE) A Gamestop in the area has one for $59.XX. I also have a $10 off any one item rewards coupon and was thinking of getting it for $50. I know this game tanked but this thing was $150 when it first came out just less than 5 months ago lol. Was wondering how's the quality of the statue? I doubt any true CAGers actually was willing to pay $150 for this but just thought I'd ask.

the statue is above average quality, better than the batman arkham knight statue tho

What is a c.e that you still want and missed out on for whatever reason ?

I wouldn't mind having the original assassins creed c.e . I kinda stopped looking for the wifi u wind weaker hd limited edition due to prices.

Kinda hope there is still going to be a forza 6 c.e

just a heads up since this thread preorders a lot of stuff from best buy. They seem to have changed their order page for the far worse :/

they needed to update and have an open order section, but instead they updated and removed all names of stuff that you preordered unless you click order details...

Speaking of BB, I hope they stock the Zestiria CE sometime very soon. I have a bunch of certs that I want to use that expire in a couple weeks, and I have nothing to use them on

I don't know, I have a feeling someone like Amazon may actually sell this for less in the not too distant future. Of course I thought Gamestop had a healthy supply and it seems to have dried up.

Seems like a lot of places are trying to sell them. The CEs are $20 right now at Fry's (though you can't order online apparently based on the listing online). Also, isn't there a $20 off "The Order" coupon included in PUR this month? Could probably use that on the CE as well to save a few more $'s.

Honestly at $50 the premium is more than worth it. It's such a nice statue. It's by far my favorite one. It's also really high quality (both the CE and PE are very high quality). At $50 for the statue, game and steelbook I think it's plenty worth it. It comes with the soundtrack too but it comes as a psn download so you'll probably never actually listen to it. I also loved the game though. Short? Yes. I thought it was wonderful though. Note, I have the premium edition and collectors editions so I know how both are.

This is why I stopped letting it auto issue certificates. I have a bunch of points saved up and I'm waiting until Halo 5 to cash them.

The soundtrack is a PSN download, but you can transfer it to USB and have access to the songs on whatever. I dropped them on my NAS and listen to the soundtrack in my car no problems.

The way that is worded sounds similar to the "download the Day Zero content if you are entitled to it" for CoD:AW, and unless they put some sort of check on the process it could be ripe for abuse.

 
Just picked up the order 1886 Premium Edition for 39.99 after the coupon. The system wont allow the coupon to work but the manager did an overide no problem. Looking at the statue and extras it looks more than worth the 40 bucks. The game trades back in for 12.xx with pur right now and there are 50% bonus coupons floating around could potentially get 17.xx credit for the game and eat some of the cost for the extras(i already have the game). If you're on the fence about buying it i would recommend it.

Ooohhhh that is very interesting and something I definitely did not know. I'll probably do that later to chuck it up onto my google music account. I loved the score so it would be real nice listening to it whenever. Thanks for the heads up!
 
That's a nice looking LE ps4.   Really too bad no one is going to care about owning Destiny related products in a couple years.  It won't hold much value nor sentimentality.  Most importantly, I wouldn't really consider buying any new systems from here on out that aren't at least 1 TB storage.

Destiny has already sold about a bajillion copies and Sony is banking on more people jumping on board. They also probably think that Destiny will outsell MGSV in the US, hence this decision.

At either 0.5 TB or 1.0 TB, you're going to run out of room. I'd break down and get an external drive of no less than 2.0 TB.

I find that highly unlikely, a lot of the people who were hyped for Destiny and bought it day 1 wound up hating it(for the record I enjoyed the game). You're also talking about an expansion to a game that came out a year ago. Not everyone that bought the original will buy it and I just can't imagine getting a substantial amount of new players on board after the base game has already been dirt cheap.

There's probably just as much hype for MGSV as there was for Destiny(maybe a little less), but I think you're underestimating the series' popularity.

I didn't think PS4s could use external hard drives. I did upgrade my internal hard drive not too long ago and it was pretty easy so that is also a solution.

It's just a thought, but the numbers will tell once the dust has settled and I can't think of another reason why the MGSV console isn't available for sale in the US.

Actually, I just assumed that myself since I've got tons of :xb1: and :360: games sitting externally in a USB drive attached to my :xb1: and I have yet to get a PS4 (so I don't know first hand either way). A quick Google search revealed that what you say may be true, and if so I'm a little shocked.

I don't understand why anyone bothers to upgrade the HDD's in either the XOne or PS4.  Just delete stuff you aren't playing.  I never have more than 10 things installed (at least 3 or so are disk installs and the rest are digital purchases) and I'm never more than 60% full on the 500GB HDD's in them.

Even throwing a 3TB drive in them, you'll still probably end up filling it up if you want to keep everything you own installed.  Save the money and just delete stuff you don't play.  Easy peasy.

If I was going to upgrade either, it'd by for my PS4 most likely since I scoff at the thought of having an external drive tethered to my XOne.

I have a pretty big backlog and I don't want to have to re-download the massive updates that most games have now. The internet speeds in my area are not great.

For one faster HDD speeds, and not having to constantly delete and redownload stuff. Some people like to keep large digital collections, or have a lot of games they need to keep patched (And some of these updates get pretty damn huge)

Barely costs 50-60$ just for a 1TB drive. Not like its a bank killer or anything

I'm salivating at the Destiny PS4. I've heard all the bad press about the game but I could care less. Since I'm getting it at this stage I'll be experiencing everything first hand w/o waiting for anything. And the formula sounds fun to me. Putting that aside I'll probably hold off on playing it since all I want is to have that sexy console in my room. My backlog will hold me off until next year.

Ignore the detractors. Most of the people that rip on Destiny never played the game. When the expansion drops it will actually be a great time from someone new to start playing.

A lot of us Destiny veterans still aren't sure if we want to start over on the loot treadmill rat race.

I mean, you could be right... Sony might think that but I just don't see it happening. For whatever reason Sony has been super-ultra-hung over Destiny since last year.

It's just a shame that NA might be missing out on a special console for a series that has meant way more to PlayStation than Destiny likely ever will.

It's actually quite an enjoyable game, I got it at launch with the season pass and played heavily for a couple months, left the game and came back this week to play the last 2 DLCs and to get some time in before this expansion and I'm loving it, the community is active the new content is fun, people do trash this game a ton but it's to the point now where I feel like it's hated on because "it's the cool thing to do"
