sorry for the slow response I have been busy with work. yeah the zero escape with watch is the same price as the regular version. As someone else said they sold out fast last time, which is why I posted it here and talked about the value of the watch. I think the watch that came with the last game (also just as a preorder bonus) is going for $60-$100 so it will likely be a valuable collectors item again (aka something that makes a collectors edition worth it to me :p) and it's a solid series ^^.

there are no details that I know of about the watch yet. I imagine they will at least be a different design than the last ones.

Probably never. Most of their CE's, once out of stock , stay that way. And the PS4 version would be a hotly contested item considering its the best MMO on it. PC one is still in stock. Not sure if you can get the digital items from that on your PS4. Similar to what I did with the Lightning Returns CE: the PS3 version never restocked so I bought the Xbox 360 one, sold the game and bought the correct version.

W-w-ait what are you talking about? The only Square Enix of recent memory to not a get a restock and go up in value to my memory is KH 2.5 CE. The past PS3/PS4 FFXIV CE's have had restocks. Hell the PS4 one for the base game is in stock!

I was just about to post about the more "sane" Hardened edition. I'm good with this one, as all I want is the steelbook. fuck, it's a GS-exclusive. Guess no GCU discount on this one.

I'm surprised the Hardened edition is GS exclusive. So I guess the mini fridge + season pass + coasters are extra $80 if you have GCU. Not bad imo since season pass is $50 alone.

Before the actual release date. Everytime I see a CE on their store out of stock after release date it stays that way. I don't recall any product coming back. Standard games always come back but not CEs.

Damn. I didn't realize when I posted that it the Hardened was a GS exclusive this year. I, too, shall miss the GCU goodness. Might have to skip it and go for the standard edition afterall.

The package they offer (without the fridge and coasters) is exclusive to Gamestop. The items themselves (clearly) are not.

But you're basically backing my point. The enemies SHOULD have guns. There's no threat when its all hand to hand combat coming from enemies. I never said this game would/should be an FPS. Just if you so decide to turn the gun you just stole from that enemy on them, so be it. The option is there. Also, she's no Batman.

You can't. Probably ever. I've come to the conclusion that BBY doesn't do in-store preorders on CEs anymore. At least not the expensive ones. Case and point. I reserved the Halo 5 CE MONTHS ago. Moved 2 hours away and had to cancel. At several BBYs near me I tried to reorder, and can't. Didn't allow me to preorder F4 Pip Boy either. And they were BOTH available as online orders at that moment.

If you notice the site says "Only Available For Shipping." I think this is their way of cutting back on unsold preorders.

Sucks. I want that fridge too... And my Halo 5 CE. Bastards.

Maybe that why they stick him on a bill that rarely gets used, so people will never know or like to know what the man stood for.

The concept of if you got nothing to hide, you shouldn't care is a very troubling slippery slope. There is a reason why the founding fathers though it was IMPORTANT to have the 4th amendment.

Also why do you put passwords on your accounts? why are you pulling down your shades on your window? If you aren't worry about hiding anything, let us see everything you do :)

Then they should say this PACKAGE is exclusive to Gamestop. I just paid $159 (*after GCU) for my Juggernog edition, only to see their "exclusive" advertising making me think I will need to double up in order to get everything when I really don't. Then again, this IS Gamestop were talking about, shady business practices are the norm for them.

Yes they do. The CE for the base game sold out and has been restocked. I highly doubt it will stay sold out. And what's funny is that the PC version of Heavensward sold out first and guess what..... NOW ITS RESTOCKED!

Square CE's rarely go up in value or even retain the value they had.
 
Well, I took the day off yesterday from checking the interwebz about game things (seriously, its probably the first day besides July 4th where I was just able to shut my phone off and all) and they put up 3 CEs in one day.  It's a real good thing I'm not interested in any of the 3 franchises (Just Cause, COD, or Mirrors Edge), but I was tempted to get a thematic mini-fridge (until I saw how small it is).  Hopefully others who DO like these franchises were able to get their CEs preordered in time.

Also, I'll just say it again but why did a "steelbook" not get voted in for JC3? Really baffled by that one.

I voted for the grappling hook, but only after the steelbook and (iirc) backpack. (since its been awhile since we had a decent backpack -- Crysis 2 Nano IIRC)

Call of Duty has done a pretty good job with their CE's over the years. The Quadcopter, Night Vision Goggles, and RC Bomb Car have all been quite a bit of fun.

I might be in the minority, but I actually preferred the version that was released - way more useable on a day-to-day basis and didn't make you look like some sort of weirdo wearing it ;)

Just don't try to use all three of those at the same time. Also, don't forget the action cam that was packed in the Prestige for Ghosts.

Yes they do. The CE for the base game sold out and has been restocked. I highly doubt it will stay sold out. And what's funny is that the PC version of Heavensward sold out first and guess what..... NOW ITS RESTOCKED!

Square CE's rarely go up in value or even retain the value they had.

I call shenanigans. The PC one never went out of stock. Period. It's always been up. I've been checking their store almost daily just to see if the PC one ever gets sold out (and if they secretly put up the Deus Ex Mankind Divided CE).

You're getting worked up over nothing. You're confusing the CE with the LE. Gamestop has an exclusive middle tier version for people who don't want a low quality mini fridge but still want the steelbook and other miscellaneous bonuses. Gamestop's exclusive has nothing to do with the Juggernog edition that you linked a picture of.

You must have been out of the game since CoD 4: MW then because the fridge concept has been in place ever since CoD: World at War ;)

I don't find any of their core multiplayer modes entertaining and I've tried every single one of them however I do usually enjoy the CoD campaigns and zombie modes (whenever they apply to the Treyarch iterations).

Fun fact: the original zombie map that started it all in WaW was an easter egg that was unlocked only after you beat the campaign and sat through the credits so a lot of people missed it.
