Sender tendered the shipment to UPS after the latest pickup time for the requested service. A day delay is likely.  So basically Amazon fucked up.  Thank you for your patronage though.

Holy fuck. A day delay?

They didn't fuck up. They shipped it prior to release, it just hit the sort facility AFTER the trucks/planes had left for that day. Come back when your package arrives after the estimated delivery date....

People complaining that their package is delayed, a day before release, a week before the estimated delivery date, are what turn threads like this into 300 posts of garbage from Fri-Tuesday of a major release.

Considering most retailers have had their stock for about a week, they should have shipped it sooner. But also, when a company as big as Amazon fucks up and tenders a shipment after the latest pickup time (which is a dumb thing to do especially for a company that ships hundreds of thousands of packages through the SAME SHIPPING PROVIDER DAILY), yea I feel it is ok to say they fucked up. because they did, granted it is only a 1-day delay which is a good thing. I personally just find it humorous.

The reason I posted the original photo was to let people know about my personal experience and let them know they might have a similar one.

 
I'm mildly surprised people got smart and kept the Uncharted and Deus Ex CEs here on this thread instead of making new topics like the Xenoblade Chronicles X CE...but I guess Nintendo's just that special...or is it just a rule to hoard everything Nintendo?

Little disappointed in Uncharted 4 collectors edition. Not fan of statues and the steelbook cover alright. Not worth the extra 20. Looks like I'll probably pick up the digital deluxe version.

Yeah, I love statues and steelbooks. Them and artbooks are my favorite additions. I never was a fan of soundtracks, because 90% of the time they are samplers, and I prefer my music digitally anyway. I can't remember the last time I used a CD. But the worst thing you can include in a CE is clothing. Ughhhhh. Please, never again.

I can understand if people are a little statue fatigue right now. Collectors editions like the Juggernog and Metal Gear Rising were really cool and different. I wish we would get more stuff like that, and I really think that if a game has a season pass or store specific pre-order DLC it should all be included with the Collectors Edition.

I'm more OK with it if it means the devs keep making more content for the game, but not a huge fan if all it does is unlock DLC that is already on the disk.

Same. If it's something that comes much later and they put a lot of work into it, I'll consider buying, but if it's crap that unlocks stuff off the disc, that's being a crook... and these companies wonder why people pirate.

My orders usually have a big "Cancel Shipment" button on the status page. I believe you can call too. If you forget to cancel it and it ships, you can easily return it to any store.

Edit: Guess you would lose the shipping cost if it shipped, but I've never had problems canceling an order from GS.

Between Mirror's Edge CE and Deus Ex, that's like $400 in CE's for one day when you figure in tax.

When I look at it in that way, I'm kinda thinking I may not keep both of them unless they pop up on BB. That's way too much money for two games.

I actually wanted the CE of Deux Ex, but man, Between Fallout 4 Pip Boy, and that, plus Battlefront, it's a lot of money.

 
My MGS PS4 is saying a possible day delay but still showing it will arrive:

If it arrives like Friday or Monday, I'll probably complain because I paid for 2-3 day shipping. But then again, Amazon has no control over customs. But if they dropped it off late, that's their fault.
