I saw this dude post one on ebay which includes a cloth poster. It says exclusive to asia and the box is slightly bigger than the EU special edition. I can't believe how much the steelbooks are selling for on ebay though

Shockingly the two DQ: Heroes CEs that I ordered from Squeenix's both site arrived in perfect shape.  Ordered two in the hopes that one would survive their typically horrible shipping/packaging.  They shipped each inside its own individual distribution box, which were then packaged together with air pillows inside a larger outer shipping box.  

So it looks like I have a spare sealed mint copy - if anyone is looking for one, shoot me a PM  (trade or cost+shipping).

I did the same thing. Mine is en route (did not preorder a while back) so I'll let you know how it goes. I just want one mint one to keep sealed, but if they mess mine up good I'll drop you a line (should be here in a couple days).

I'm guessing it will, but more likely just from cancelled orders than a full on restock. Plenty of people has been dissapointed enough with the beta to cancel their Juggernog. So I'd watch out for it if you really want one. I'm guessing if it does go back up, it'll last for only a few hours to less than a day like the CEs we've seen that came back in stock for a little bit in the past 2 months (MGS V CE, Taken King CE, or the Tales of Zestiria CE that happened on Monday.)

Yeah, I'm debating if I'd do that as well. However, I don't need a mini-fridge, so even getting the $40 off with GCU and selling the game for another $45 (bringing it to about $125, after tax) is probably more than I should bother with.

Remember this thing comes with a steelbook and the season pass as well. If you're selling all that for just $45, someone's getting a steal lol. Some people might even be crazy enough to buy that coaster set that comes with it for $10 to $15 lol.
 
Ok. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what exactly is a season pass? I know it allows you to play multiplayer, but is it for a limited time? Do most games need them now?

Season pass basically all the dlc contents that will come with the game for online play. It costs $50 if purchased by itself. So Juggernog with GCU for $160 is a steal imo. It's basically the Hardened Edition (which is $80 and a Gamestop exclusive so no GCU) + the Fridge + season pass ($50) + coaster set and tin.

I didn't even realize it came with the other stuff. I just had the fridge and the base game in-mind. I guess I'll have to keep an eye out for the potential restock and see if I have the spare money to make the purchase. Hopefully it waits until I get paid on Friday.

 
Generally speaking a season pass includes all current and future paid content, excluding preorder bonuses, in the duration of a "season" of the game's life span. The length of a season is determined by the developer/publisher. For many games, a season includes everything that is ever released for that game. For games with long life span like destiny, more content may be released outside of its first season. Basically a way for you to prepay any content they are going to make at a discount. It is not "needed" at all for online play. I think you are confusing that with an online pass, which is now dropped by virtually all publishers.

Why buy now when you can see if there's a chance to snag one of one's people cancel in Nov. And if you miss out, you can probably buy one for $200 then. I think prices for these will probably stay around $200 anyways until supplies on ebay depletes. It will not get more expensive come November.

Wasn't it stated by the developer that they made more of the pip boys then any other fallout CE. I wouldn't doubt if it goes sub 150 before release. When the initial sell out happened, and a few sold for triple it created a frenzy of people thinking it was a quick way to make a buck. All those restocks were bought up with no intention but to resell.

It's because resellers aren't supposed to sell a preorder unless the release date is within 30 days, or they risk getting their account suspended. I think everyone was waiting for that day to come and now ebay is flooded.

The price went down pretty quick...even on GAF there was people trying to sell them for $350 just last week.

Don't think it'll drop quite that low either. There's just a lot more big time fallout fans today compared to the time fallout 3 released. Just look at how much sealed Fallout 3 and New Vegas CEs go for now, remember these used to sit in clearance racks for $29.99. The fact that there are no more Pip-boy availabilities in retailers (besides cancellations) pretty much keeps this thing at around 2x msrp.
 
I'm also curious if they are telling the truth. They lied when they announced it saying it would be very limited... Then printed more of them than anything they've ever printed. I wouldn't doubt if they come with a surprise of having another 100,000.

Well remember, Bethesda did mention there was going to be a restock after it sold out so fast originally. But then after the restock sold out, they said no more because the factory they're contracted with can't make anymore. So I wouldn't count on more magically showing up after making that clear cut of a statement. Besides I'm sure Bethesda internally knows that tons of these were bought by people to resell. If they made more and flood the market, all they'll get is a bunch of Pipboys sitting on store shelves and warehouses waiting to be clearanced.

Exactly, I just checked and there's almost 1,700 listings with 3 plus weeks left before release. If they make too many it will come back to bite them. The juggernog only has 500.

Also, don't forget Bethesda has lots to lose if they overproduce these. This thing comes out on November 10th. Just in time to be eligible for holiday returns by most retailers. So resellers essentially have 2 months to try to unload theirs or return it by Jan 15th. Doubt Bethesda takes that kind of a chance and make more. These aren't $13 amiibos.

That Fallout 3 Survival Edition was not easy to get hands on, and still goes for ludicrous prices.

Sadly, it's right there on my wishlist too. UGH.

 
Was there going to be a PC version of the Hearts of Stone CE? I guess it won't matter to me. Bought the Xbox One CE, sold the game and thinking about selling the statue. 

 
I have a quick question for those that have the pip boy edition of fallout preordered.

I ordered two xbox copies the second they were put on amazon but on two different orders. (one for me and one as a bday gift for my younger brother). What is the chance of them getting cancelled the day of release because I have more than one oredered on my account?

If i have to, I'd just cancel my copy.

 
I refused UPS delivery of my Dragon Quest Heroes Slime Shit box, and a customer service asswipe from Square Enix Store sent me an E-mail back to dispute the transaction with my bank because they R E F U S E to refund my money. I was instructed by them to refuse delivery because they wouldn't cancel my preorder two and a half weeks in advance of release date.

I thought I would post this here in case anyone wants to order from those fuckfaces over there because their 'service' is awful.
