I mentioned it in the GS thread but some stores are at least doing a CoD tournament. Grand prize is a free game. They'll also be doing a raffle to give away stuff. Best to call your local store but my stores are giving extra raffles if you people dress up for the event. Somebody should dress up as Kevin Spacey. I might just show up to mine and argue that I look like Soap. Even though I don't.

In somewhat related news, Activision stated that Black Ops II has a combined 12 million players playing online per month still. That's astonishing when you factor in that this is Black Ops II we're talking about - which was out 3 years ago and only on last-gen systems. Makes more sense now why they went back on their initial plans and added Black Ops III for last gen consoles. That's bananas.

I'm curious does this come with the steelbook and a regular case or just the steelbook? My juggernog wont be here til monday and i want to play it this weekend just curious if i would be able to return the copy that comes in the juggernog or not.

Yeah i wasn't expecting to see this yet. But i have to admit i think this is one of the better Collector Editions i have bought in some time.

 
I got my Jug today and the outside box was crushed but luckily the factory packed one inside was fine. It says there are 5,672 cartons on that box. Is it really that limited? 

 
I get my jug tomorrow but I'm mostly likely not going to keep it as I was hoping to get it from BB and I only snagged from Amazon.

It's nice except the cutout in the bottom of the box foam isn't quite the right dimension for the LP envelope so it makes everything stick up a little bit.

Just noticed that. Didn't know there was something under the foam but it doesn't fit in the allotted hole made for it so it does stick up a little bit. Only noticed by looking from the side.
 
Juggernog PS4 just popped up on Target.com, but they  must have had like 5... I watched it go from 2 to 1 as I was trying to checkout and then it was yanked from my cart... just a headsup if you want to try for an XB1 version, haven't seen that go in stock yet tonight

Same thing happened to me. Had it in my cart, started to check out and then said my cart was empty. First COD CE I've seen sell out and not go on clearance for 70% off.

they both went in stock. x1 and ps4 sold out in minutes and ps4 went back up a couple minutes after, which im guessing is what you saw.

I've seen it come through a few times over the last week. I always kind of wondered if maybe they were going to correct the PS4 versions to get the DLC codes included in them, which was why there was a stronger demand for them... that they held back stock to fix them.

Just a thought really. Probably wrong, but, a thought nonetheless.

Maybe. I got a second copy from Gamestop a few days after release when it came back in stock and they never e-mailed me the CE content. I contacted them and the jackass that responded, like 6 days later, told me I was SOL because it was a preorder code for preoders... obviously I know that is incorrect but since I don't plan on opening this I didn't waste the energy arguing.

They certainly could have held or recalled stock to repackage them with the codes although I kind of doubt it.

Nope US juggernogs only come with the game in a Steelbook

No. The first black ops had a hardened edition that was really hard to get post launch if you didn't preorder. I know that didn't go on any regular clearance.

Konami can give you the codes. You just need to show them proof of purchase and the CE in a picture. Took me two weeks to get my code though.

 
Based on the unboxings, the Juggernog edition comes with both the season pass and the Giant zombie map as separate vouchers.  Since the season pass is supposed to also include access to download the Giant zombie map - does that mean each CE essentially comes with an extra Giant Zombie (voucher) map?  Or is the season pass included in the CE a special one that does not allow you to download the Giant map (therefore requiring the extra voucher)?

I know some of you bottom feeders supplement your allowance by trying to aggressively confuse and bypass the T&C of retailers PM policies (Target PM w/ cartwheel coupon for example) but I'm sure you'll find it much more difficult with Newegg.
