I kind of slept on the SotC special Editon, actually had it in my BBY cart for a lil while.  I just couldn't justify the purchase of a game I already have 2 copies of (PS2, and PS#/ICO HD upgrade).  

Game looks gorgeous, I'm wondering if more copies will "Show up" in stock in the next couple weeks or so.  Congrats to all who did snag it at a good price though!

I nearly did the same. Then mid Jan finally decided I wanted it and it was practically sold out. Got lucky and a Best Buy 45 min away still had it available for pick up. I'm kinda hoping it will pop back in stock tomorrow for shipping or more locally to save me the drive.

 
Got a bonus preorder code from Amazon for Shadow of the Colossus...but I have no idea what it does! The email gives no info about it. Has anyone entered theirs?

Health regen sword and some theme probably. I didn't find the sword that useful, but it's something.

Has anyone actually gotten SOTC:SE from Best buy?

I just got an email saying it was out of stock at the store my bestbuy.com pick up order was placed at. Of course it's out of stock everywhere now.

Yeah. I grabbed my in-store pickup as soon as they opened this morning. I think mine may have been their only copy.

Really surprised this thing is so hard to find.

No extra copies at the dozens of GameStop stores around me. Seems to be selling for $120-150 online too. Glad I jumped on it.

I just got mine delivered from Best Buy. They actually shipped it in a box and its mint for once.

Mine shipped last Thursday and was delivered on Saturday. Did it via online shipping though not for store pick up

I had a few preordered from Amazon, and cancelled the preorders thinking this was going to be easy to get at a discount not too long after release.

 
This may sound weird, but I can't seem to open my SotC SE box without tearing the box. The top part of it just ain't budging. Any tips? lol

Butter knife

Insert it in the flap and twist upward. Be gentle and do it for each side.

Forgot to add, all 3 of my SE copies of SotC shipped in a box and all were in great shape. Gave one to my good buddy's brother, and the other is pending sale on CAG. Might leave mine sealed and just get a $10 digi copy from my buddy at Sony lol.

Best Buy actually shipped mine in a bubble mailer for the first time in a while, but it arrived in great shape also.

Also, the Ni No Kuni 2 CE is back in stock at Bestbuy.com so I ordered it again to get the free Digipin and will cancel my previous order without the free item.

Yes. But it sold out in around 4 minutes this time. ~107 shipped from them.

Supposedly the Bayonetta 1 physical cartridge includes english subs but it hasn't been confirmed if it includes English voice also.

I have a Shadow of the Colossus special edition waiting for me at a BB 2 hours away just in case I am unable to find one closer. Are these being stocked or was it strictly pre-order? Luckily we know someone that can pick it up and ship it but didn't want to bother them if we didn't have to. I am surprised that these are a challenge to find. I wonder if there will be another shipment........or if copies will trickle down to the shelve at some point......hmmmmm

Bummed I missed this. I have the Amazon.jp exclusive preordered, but I have to use Tenso because they won't ship that one to the states. Was hoping to get the regular one so I could avoid that. Oh well.

I see a couple listings on eBay for it already, but seems a little early to list a preorder item.

I'm more of a fan of the Kotobukiya statue that was released along with the PS2 version. I think that was polystone as well. I actually had one of those and got it for only about $40, but unfortunately it broke and I ended up throwing it out. The arm with the club broke off and seemed like no easy way to fix it.

I've seen listings over $1000 for that one, but not sure if any have sold for that price.

 
The SOTC Ce annoys me with the box in a box in a box design but otherwise is top tier just like the game. On top of that while a box outside a SB seems incredibly counter intuitive it's a nice box with some cool detail. Definitely the kind of presentation a remake like this deserves. Throwing out the thin shelf box though.

 
I'm honestly surprised at how rare the SOTC special edition is. It's really just a steelbook with some extras, I don't remember last time a simple CE like this was so rare.

Won't it just get another run? I mean this would have been the best speculation for resellers ever considering how cheap it was and that it was known to be of a certain quality with much of the game being a known quantity since it was a remake. I just figured Sony would print the CE for a few months before demand died to nothing.

 
Yeah, with Sony CE's you just don't mess around for most releases, especially if they're retailer exclusive (*GLARE* Last of Us). Big names like GoW and Horizon you're safer with but they will still sell out depending. Always pre-order and if you change your mind, just flip it.

 
SotC SE also seems to be available for order at Game Stop, but with $7.99 shipping. System doesn't allow for free shipping on this item, apparently.
