In case others are interested, this is currently available again for preorder. My trade credit almost covered the entire cost.
 
After the latest glowing previews for Ni No Kuni 2 I wanted to toss a question to the CAGers here who occasionally import. Has anyone here successfully used a Season Pass with an international account and accessed the content with their NA account?

I have both King's edition from the UK and US and I'm considering dropping UK as I don't want both and only the ugly NA diorama is unappealing and has kept me from pulling the trigger.

Here's how that works:

When you designate a PS4 as the 'primary' for a particular account, then all accounts on that system will be able to utilize the DLC and downloaded games from that account. Just make sure that your PS4 is set as the primary for your international accounts, and then your main, NA, account will be able to access all of that content.

I believe the only issue I ever had was when Street Fighter 5 received the big story patch which for someone reason was region locked in a way that it would say I didn't have permission to access DLC content while on my NA account. I'll look into it but may possibly keep the EU version if I know I can use the season pass.

What Zaku77 said is true for about 99.99% of the games. There are only a few outliers that it doesn't work with, and iirc SF V is one. In those extremely rare cases, the season pass/dlc binds to the account, and can't be shared. There are seriously only a handful of games that do that out of all the games on PS4, so I wouldn't let the issue with SF V worry you. Plus, I don't think Namco has ever done account bound dlc on one of their games.

FWIW, I have bought dlc on my JP/EU accounts and accessed it no problem on my NA account. And I am still debating between the EU and NA one, and am not worried about dlc issues :) Only thing holding me back is the fear something will break during shipping with the EU one.

I know Zaku gave a good post detailing what you are asking about but I wanted to let you know that it won't work like that for all games. Middle Earth Shadow of War was one of those. I got a UK copy and downloaded the UK Season pass on my UK account set to primary on my PS4. My US account had access to NOTHING from the season pass or any of the other little DLCs for the game. I had done things like this with other games and they worked fine but not with SoW.

If anything I would bet it is because SoW requires an internet connection to verify your account so the DLC is only valid on that account. I really doubt NNK2 would require that so you SHOULD be okay using just the UK version.

 
I definitely agree with what others have echoed here. There are rare outliers that don't follow the overwhelming trend. One can't know for sure until the game is released and someone tries it, but I doubt NNK2 would fall into that rare minority. 

 
So my copy of Sotc SE didn't get an adjustment from Amazon for prime discount. I know Wario had mentioned it was showing up at some point. My question is did anyone get an adjustment from Amazon or the discounted price on their order?

I contacted Amazon a few days ago. I was given the "it'll apply when it ships" excuse. Reviewing my order now and seeing that it did not apply after it shipped. Great.

 
From what I can tell, the Prime Discount was removed around late December or January. I tried placing an order on January 4th and it was not applied unlike my earlier order from December 12.
 
I have a question about picking up a steelbook preorder extra from Gamestop. Will they hold on to it for me if I preordered "while supplies were available" or do I have to get there as soon as possible so they don't give mine away to someone else?

From what I've seen with Gamestop pre-order bonuses, it's first come, first serve. If they have 1 bonus and 8 pre-orders, like with my Xenoblade pre-order, you better be there at opening.

It's probably dependent on the store and whether or not you're enough of a regular for someone to set it aside for you. I always try to go there ASAP when there are limited bonus items.

Jesus, I am glad someone a while back mentioned that Newegg had SotC: Special Edition available for pre-order. I didn't even know about it until late January. It is insane that these things disappear. Hope they bring out more for those that missed out.

 
I shot Amazon CS an email earlier today about not getting my 20% discount on Shadow of the Colossus Special Edition and they just emailed back saying they are giving me a $9.99 refund so that is a plus!

This actually worries me, I preordered when they first announced regarding the steelbook. But now they took it off the listing (I presume cause they hit the limit). But there's no steelbook added to my order.
 
Who likes the trash tier glossy steelbooks? Ex: Shadow of Colossus, it looked like trash right out of the box. Bunch of scratches and a corner with some chipped off paint.

When I ordered it online early this week, I didn't see the steelbook info on the page either, but I did see the steelbook in their weekly ad

Does anyone know how many copies roughly were made of the Dissidia CE guide? 20k, or more? Reason I ask is the prints are numbered, but they don't say out of how many. Mine is in the mid 16k's, so I assume at least a 20k print run.

 
New Zelda guide originally said being delivered today by Amazon, now delayed until Feb 21st for me. Amazon site says 2-4 weeks shipping for new orders.

The Witch and the Hundred Knigt 2 is down to less than 5% remaining. These NISA games go fast once they're at this point usually.
 
SOTC Special Edition from the Amazon restock a few days ago came in pretty nice shape packed in a box, very impressed considering I was expecting them all to come in bubble mailers. I bought 3 copies, none of them appear to be returns or damages.
