??? I may be misunderstanding. You're keeping the Amazon.de order because you think it will arrive in better condition? There should be almost a 0% chance of that happening. I doubt that box is going to be big enough to warrant Amazon.de sending it in a box. I've received Blu-Ray sets in digipack packaging that get sent in a thin cardboard mailer and arrive somewhat smashed. I'd be surprised if this is any different.

 
Yes. I'm keeping the amazon.de order because my personal history with them is they do a better job shipping items undamaged across the ocean than amazon.com does shipping them from the distribution warehouse that's 15 miles from my house.
 
Overseas Amazon ships way better than stateside that's for sure, hell I've had Amazon Japan ship me free shipping items next day air via dhl

Yep, same here. Amazon UK and Germany don't ship any better than US with the added benefit of having to survive customs. If they are shipping something like Flashback that will probably be in a flimsy box with little support inside that box, expect it to arrive with damage. Getting something like that in "perfect" condition from Amazon UK/Germany would be a miracle.

I assume it's relatively the same size as the EU Bayonetta Special Edition. That one shipped from Germany in a sturdy box with air pockets all around it.

My EU Xenoblade was a much larger box, but it also shipped well packaged and arrived in perfect condition.

Any time I order empty steelbooks in quantities of 2 or more they ship well protected.

I shall find out soon enough if they keep their streak up or if I'm sorely disappointed.

The one from amazon.de says the language, subtitles, and instructions are in German though. I'd order the amazon.co.uk one if you want it in English.

I did the same, Locked in a PS4 and Switch copy. I like the red box better for switch but want PS4 for trophies.

Was able to order online and another one in store just in case they cancel on me like they did with GoW PS4 Pro. Wario64 tipped me off again. Tweet notifications are painful to sift through but it paid off this time.

Best Buy still has it for shipping so people may want to order it from there especially if their GCU is expiring soon.

Can't say I am surprised with how well this sold though. It really was a great package for the price. Not to mention Switch CEs seem to go really quickly. Just look at LRG's for example. Their Switch CEs often sell out in under 5 minutes while the PS4 versions of the same CE take hours or even days to sellout (with less quantities even). The Switch collector fanbase does seem to be a rabid one.

I was in Gamestop today and out of curiosity I asked about preordering owlboy LE for switch and was able to preorder still.
Put $5 down. Shows the LE In my preorders on the app
 
Been massively busy, haven't updated or added new stuff in awhile. I'll get to this tonight or tomorrow. Accidentally deleted the April stuff in the pictures post, everything's still there though in the OP. Wondering if I should make a new thread with more posts. There's an overabundance of text. Might just keep this as is and wait till 2019 for that.

It went out of stock for a few days after it was originally listed but then came back in stock less than a week later and has been available ever since.

There's a part of me that really wants a special edition branded Switch because that could be really cool. I have like 13 different 3DS for that very reason. Then there's the other part of me that fears the trend starting and hopes it never comes to pass. Haha
