It is kind of cool. The typewriter itself, not that capcom is marking it up so much hah. I'd buy a used one on ebay if I found one cheap enough and put custom decals on it to match the CE.

I saw Aus sold out pretty fast. I'm still debating, sold my scorpio and have the spider-man pro pre-ordered but the 500 Million PS4 looks like it's gonna be rarer. I have a God of War Pro which I can sell sooner if I can nab a 500 Million LE.

 
What are the odds of the Persona Dancing collection going on sale or even being available like 3-6 months after its release? In a post-GCU era, it's hard to justify paying full price for anything. I'd always pre-order special editions from BB and never had to worry about this kind of stuff. Thanks.

3 Aus retailers already took down the preorder link: EBgames, JB hi-fi and Gamesmen.

PS UK tweeted the following UK retailers will be taking preorder next week: Amazon, Game, Smyths Toys, Very & Currys and ShopTo.

Amazon listed it at $59.99 initially, whether those will ship or get cancelled who knows

The Persona 4 DAN collector's went on sale for about half off or more, and was plentiful for quite a while. So if the past is any indication, I believe this will also have good odds to be cheaper. It's a little more niche.

Of course, it depends if Atlus learned and will produce a lot less than the P4 one. Usually, if the first game CE sells out and becomes hard to find, the sequels (or the following titles after) hardly ever seem to do because I believe the companies usually adjust their numbers.

Been up for a while, doesn't ship to the US either. Also 600 after converting euros. Hopefully it's a good sign for those that one here, that it will stay in stock for at least a day.

Have the GoW still unopened, may have to sell it for this one IF it comes to the USA. Don't really care for the camera but that 2tb drive would be nice to have. I hope we get it!

A few GoW consoles unopened went for over $650 ebay last few days, would pretty much pay for the 500 Million PS4 Pro.

 
Best Buy cancelled my Owlboy limited edition for no reason. I ordered it the second it went live.

It was delayed by the publisher, should be no reason to cancel it.

The listings are completely taken down by Best Buy and Amazon. All they did was announce it was delayed until September. What the hell is going on? Odd.

 
Which Owlboy did you guys preorder PS4/Switch? Also I have it store pick up instead of shipping if that matters. I have the Switch on preorder and got a email from BB about its release date getting changed to September 28 and that’s it. Still in progress on the order status.

Between that and the higher price point I hope NA has a at least a day of availability. I got the 20th aniv. model and think this one is substantially better in design.
 
If they cancelled they aren't going to magically restore the orders. Tbh it's looking like this le isn't happening, the game has been out awhile at this point so I'm not really surprised

They can send email pre-order links to the people who had them wrongly cancelled. At the very least I think we will get certificates for the cancellations.

 
I also had my Switch Owlboy CE canceled from BB as being in backorder status, saying they could not fulfill it.  Duh, it hasn't even released yet. 

Anyone else that had their order canceled I would suggest posting in the active thread on the Best Buy forums about it.  Its under the "Gaming Support" section.  We need to make sure they aware its a big problem as the Switch version is unable to be ordered anywhere right now so people that only counted on BB to fulfill it are getting screwed.

Luckily I still kept my Amazon order open (was going to cancel it at the last minute when I got a shipping notice from BB).  Still would rather have that GCU discount though (big difference between $74 after taxes and shipping and $59).

It is happening. It was just delayed until September 28th per the official Facebook account of Soedesco. The error and incompetence is on Best Buy's part as they have the new date, but they cancelled the preorders anyway.

"Rare"? Have they ever done that? This is Best Buy - they are, ironically, pretty backwards. For a tech store, they sure aren't exactly on the cutting edge of anything.

These cancellations were based on the original release date - how they sent out delayed e-mails after sending out "release date has changed" e-mails, I have no idea.

 
Not sure I even care about Owlboy anymore. I have another preorder at Amazon but may just cancel it. Not sure it's worth getting without the 20% discount.

Main reason I got it was the 20% discount if not for that I doubt I would have "tried" to buy it (still might consider cancelling it regardless)
