I'm OK with adding a year to my subscription, but I wish they had bundled another controller instead of that - I don't really want to use the controller that comes w/ the system & wear it out.

Also, I talked to a local manager that I've known for a long time earlier this week & he told me it would be no problem for me to return & rebuy in store so I could trade in my current system & apply other store credit to it. Think I'm gonna cancel my paid-for DQXI preorder too and just use that $75 PSN card to get a digital copy of it for now. That's $66 more including tax that I can take off of the bundle.

 
For those who have experience, has your local Gamestops actually let you return bundle items or is it all theoretical? Because someone posted their "official" policy earlier says no, but I could have sworn I've seen several people on here say they return bundle items all the time over the years.

from past experience, bundle is just list of items combine by gamestop and not a single sku. Your gamestop receipt will have itemize prices pertaining to each item and can be return separately.

Only problem is that they may not return prepaid digital cards.

So did anyone hit on the PS4. I went to this damn strip club last night and firgot about it and didn't check it until 1:30, at which point they were sold out. Wanted to cry in front of this stripper... :( and I wastes $120 and forgot her instagram name. Fml

3rd Editions is releasing a making-of / art book for Dead Cells called The Heart of Dead Cells: A Visual Making-Of. There's a standard edition ($29.95 on Amazon) and a collector's edition with a custom cover and dust jacket ($39.90 exclusive to 3rd Editions site).

If you're not aware of 3rd Editions, they're a French company that recently started translating their back catalog to English via a couple Kickstarters. Most of the books are text only and focus on lore, game development, and impact, etc. I believe this is their first foray into more of an art book style.

I'll admit, If it wasn't for Gamestop being greedy and put majority of their stock with a Bundle. I would've had no chance of getting this. I got the $599 one with the headphone which at least lasted for a respectable 10 minutes. Amazon also pulled some bullshit by putting it up in a different listing and lasted only a minute anyways. And Bestbuy threw a curveball by putting it on the App which I didn't have access too at the time. I think for something this limited, dividing it up to 4 or 5 retailers also definitely does not help. Should've just put it all up at one retailer or Sony should've just sold it themselves like the 20th Anniversary PS4. I know their site crashed last time, but at least for a good 4 hours, you had a fair shot at it. Bots are also not as useful in these situations where websites crash due to traffic.

Same. My only regret is that I didn't know about the headset bundle, so I bought the dumb Ultimate bundle.

OTOH, I didn't buy it until 12 minutes after the hour, so maybe I would have missed the headset bundle anyway.

If I knew it was app only I would have had this already. I was on every website on multiple devices at midnight, 1am, and now when target went live. They were never available on any browser, which is insane.

 
Who the absolute fuck puts a item in stock at the 15 minute mark of the new hour? This entire thing has been complete shit. fuck. I've been wanting a translucent blue console for years and Sony and the stupid retailers fuck ed everything up. fuck this.

Yeah, I would be fine if Target and BB said "hey, this item will be an app exclusive so be sure to download it to be ready." I don't have either app so I basically had no shot at either retailer. Not like the app helped a lot - as far as I can tell a lot of people still came away empty handed with the apps moments after it went live.

Not exactly sure how it works but I was refreshing every couple seconds on the BB website between 1 and 1:30 this AM (before anyone even mentioned it was up since I knew BB typically updates their site right after 1am EST) and never got it to go into cart. Also, as soon as it was mentioned it was live at Target I kept refreshing there every few seconds and it went from "Coming soon" to "Sold Out". From posts on here and Reddit, clearly people were able to order it through the apps first and most successfully.
