It was working for about 10mins after I posted. Was able to place a order right before I posted the link. It finally switched to not available.

Just checked, the order cant be cancelled and i've been charged.

Ok, cool. Definitely odd to see orders canceled and then it being available again. Maybe payment being declined or something.

I checked my order history and doesn't have the option to cancel any more, so I may be in the clear as well.

Anyone else getting random full page captchas when viewing GameStop's site? I wonder if they are trying to combat bots or if something odd with my connection.

I've been getting those captchas too. Annoying. If your order cant be cancelled, your in the clear. It's in the process of shipping.

 
Son of a Gun...I was off from work today, and I use my work email as my address for Best Buy.  Well, I didn't get the email from them asking me to update my payment information and they cancelled my Spider Man CE when I went to pick it up.  I realize now that my bank issued me a new CC, and I guess because I ordered that so long ago that I forgot.

This one smarts a little... :bomb:

Woohoo my Spiderman CE just delivered. Very compact, about the size of Yakuza 6 CE.

Oh in case it hasn't been mentioned before: the spine of the steelbook is BLANK!

So shortly after I went to the store and picked up the now discounted Spiderman Pro.... I noticed the Spiderman CE for in store pickup went from Out of Stock to In process, and sure enough almost as soon as I got home I got the, "Your order is ready for pickup!" so I headed back to the store and they did indeed have it. So in the end I guess I got both the Pro and the CE and a free $50 off the Console for.... nothing as it turns out.

Sweet.

 
Ordered 2k19 anniversary edition from BB yesterday afternoon for store pickup. Store pickup not available today, contacted CS chat, told I would get $20 gift card at pickup when it becomes available. I printed the chat just in case.

Head to the store... they have no idea why CS would say that and they absolutely said they didn't get enough to fulfill their orders and they don't have one for me. They then tell me orders were fulfilled based on who ordered first, which I found laughable and even more irritating given that.... I placed this order within hours of the link going active on April 4th and I don't think this store gets THAT much traffic/orders for this.

Like at this point I don't even know who to talk to, at no point have they offered a gift card or compensation, and now CS blatantly lied to me.

That sucks as I ordered like last week but got delivery to my home. It is a small but sweet CE. I would recommend having it delivered to your house next time for CE's.

 
How the fuck are people who ordered them last week or in July getting them ahead of people who ordered back in April? Like how does that make sense? Lol
 
My Spiderman CE order got suspended due to payment failure.  It sat there for a day ready to be cancelled, then I updated the payment.  It still shipped out Thursday night and got delivered on Friday. 

 
Can anybody tell me where the digital voucher is for the Spider-Man PS4 Pro bundle?

I got mine from GameStop today and it looked like the seal was broken on the box. I can't find any digital voucher code in the box. I haven't opened the disc plastic wrap yet, because I'm afraid if somebody swiped the code then I won't be able to return it if I open the game. Is it in the game case? TIA!

Yes, its inside the plastic case with the disc. The back of the case should have a no resale on the upc. That's the one included with the bundle. The voucher also has the preorder dlc as well.

GameStop antics made me think maybe somebody swiped the code, especially since it has a # sticker on it that they usually put for midnight releases, even though I picked it up Friday afternoon.
 
I pre-ordered Spider Man (standard) the day before and did get my DLC code after I picked up the game. I did not get it for the CE I pre-ordered in April though.

 
I finally got my BBY DLC code. One thing I thought was unusual was even though it was delivered Friday, it did not get reported as delivered by BBY until this morning (when you get the email saying your order got delivered). Shortly afterwards, I got the email with code.

I finally received my preorder bonus code today at 7:11 AM. I did call them yesterday to report I hadn't gotten a code yet, so that might have helped. I also messaged the gaming account on Best Buy's forum, but that didn't help since they still haven't looked at my message. The code redeemed just fine BTW. I'd seen people report getting codes that didn't work before, but those were all people that got codes sent right away.

I'm enjoying it a lot. The side stuff can get repetitive, but the main story is really good so far. One quick note about this game though: If you try to play the combat like the Batman Arkham games, you will get killed A LOT. That tripped me up at the beginning, because I was trying to play it like that. Spider-Man's combat is a much different beast, despite the game seeming very similar on a surface level.

I paid $130 after tax at Best Buy for the CE, and have no regrets about buying it. It's a very well made and fun game. And the statue does look better in person than it does in online pictures, IMO. Not as nice as my Aloy statue from my HZD CE, but that statue also looked worse in online pictures, so this reminded me of that one.

 
Anyone here who got their code who didn't contact support? And what support did you contact? Online or phone? I spent so much damn time on the phone today with CS of another place already, I don't really feel like calling BB lol.

Ordered this fucking game in April

Still shows as delayed

Had to call to get a tracking number that isn’t even in the system yet

No delivery date STILL

Got a $30 gift card for the hassle

Should have just bought the fucking vanilla version and saved myself the headache ESPECIALLY since people who ordered the game in July and even a couple weeks ago already got theirs. Stupid as shit

Also I have received no DLC codes either lol

I agree 100%. Dont just button mash thinking everything will connect. You have to use your surroundings and different moves at the right times more often than not. I just replayed The Amazing Spiderman on 360 right before this new one, and combat in this game will punish the button mashing more than in older games. I died four times just getting past the first area and villian that the game starts out with. LOL

 
To those of you who got Spider Man CE, is it worth it? I’m debating buying the vanilla and just returning the CE if I ever get it.

Opinions?
