Yeah and I am sure this has a higher production run which means a lower cost, than a smaller production run with higher cost. No idea why this is in this thread. I avoid the LRG thread just from all the crying and whining, I'd appreciate it not bleeding to this thread.

So the Triss/Yen Steelbook was the GS Black Friday 2015 gift w/purchase of Witcher 3. Ciri was what came originally in the CE, & the Wild Hunt Steelbook was the Best Buy exclusive preorder bonus.

I'm not really sure. I thought they were console specific, but I'm reading that one is only from Poland.

 
Not sure if anyone cares about this one like I do, but Gamestop has finally clearanced the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Legacy Pro Editions for $29.99.   This is the set that comes with the steelbook, expansion pass, and some extras that originally sold for $120.  I collect the CoD steelbook editions when they get cheap enough and I've been waiting over two years for it to come down and it finally hit my target price.  It was $89.99-$99.99 the last times I checked a few weeks ago.

(Most stores only have one gutted, up to two years old, copy. I went to the Mall of America specifically to get one of two copies from the back room and it was opened but in 'like new' condition.   It seems like it would be very likely that you could get a gutted and beat up shelf copy shipped from another store if you buy a 'new' one online.)

Thank you for the heads up. Your first link is broken though.

That’s a shame they held the steelbook back from the original $100 version, which is the one I own. I just can’t double dip at $30 for a steelbook since I own the legacy edition.

No clue, the only thing I found was the settlement order. My guess would be they were contracted to make a LoL statue and they tried being fishy as usual.

Yeah, I remember there were a couple of glitches. Seems I locked it in for $30, but I don't remember the details. Amazon hasn't had a good glitch in a while, those were the days.

As someone who likes to buy all these CoD SteelBooks and not necessarily play the game, this is my sweet spot.
 
Well I just stumbled upon some jak and daxter collectors editions for PS4 on eBay and damn they’re selling for $400. Wth when were these up for pre order?
 
I've never trusted sold "preorder" listings on eBay, especially for something that won't ship to "original" buyers until later this month.

Yep. The official announcement on the PS Blog actually went up after the products were live. An email went out a few minutes before but it seemed to have selectively gone out. The details were added to the site as it flipped to live. It wasn't well executed.

Very much this. Nearly everything LRG preorder “sold” listings has been around triple the price but once in hand they usually go down to normal price.
 
I think it's FOMO impulse buys from people who panic, and yeah, the J&D release was not executed well at all, but hey they made their money so
