I agree and disagree. If they came out and said this was limited to anything less then 1,500 units I'd be all over it. But knowing Microsoft, where even their limited editions are anything but limited, I'm guessing this is a huge cash grab. So far it's available for sale on three platforms across three different retailers (TreeHouse Brand Stores Titanfall shop, Amazon, Gamestop). The fact they haven't come out and said how many are being printed leads me to believe that they are going to leave it as an open printing until closer to release date. If I had to guess I'd say at least 15,000 - 20,000. Now that isn't a large number but it's much larger then the 5,000 of the Dev Team Edition from Dead Space 3 and way larger then the small print sizes for the KOA collector's edition.

Wow... I did not know that. That is even worse!

I'm going to wait and see if the Titanfall shop does some sort of exclusive edition where they make a variant statue or include other useless crap but at least define a much smaller print size.

Last thing I need is a ~ $200 statue that 20,000 other video game nerds have.

But the good things is if multiple retailers carry it odds are good at least one will discount it before it sells out. Heck, I already have a preorder locked in at $217.24 via Amazon on a price mistake (I think?) when they first put the listings up.

I would feel much better at $150 or less though

Wrong, the hardened edition of bo2 for 360 was available under 2 weeks before launch, and then when it did come out, they were going for $120 on ebay

It is coming stateside you know? Not to mention with the conversion, buying it from the UK is a whole $100+ more expensive (1 pound = about $1.60). Also it is region locked... GS ATLEAST, probably other places too, will have it on BF (probably earlier too depending on the 11/22 release of the game).

 
Don't want to believe the price of the Titanfall CE... man I wish video game CEs were becoming more affordable and not more expensive!

 
The irony is I would like to assume the model is of an incredible quality but my wife would punch me in the face for spending 200 bucks on a mech statue that we would never put on display. I'd love 100 dollar version that had the art book and collectible packaging though.

It shows a picture of a metalpack, and Best Buy changed the wording from steelbook to collectible metal/tin case on the product page. It's a metalpack, done.

 
Went ahead and bit on the Titanfall CE, hopefully it is limited.  If it is I imagine it would have to be sold out in less than a month even with the hefty price.  But that statue looks incredible, after seeing the prices on other collectible statues from the likes of side show etc...  About $150-180 after you subtract the game/book/extras its not bad at all.

Looks pretty cool except I don't understand the TVs lighting up with no light on the Joker. Still cool though. Could be pretty rare too if it actually stays sold out. I doubt it will but so far it doesn't seem like there'll be a ton of these.

 
Is anyone getting the  ghosts prestige edition? I have a PS4 copy preordered on Amazon and I am debating if I should keep it. The camera is a nice touch but I wonder if it is going to be a cheap POS with terrible audio. I also hear that the lens is slightly fish-eyed?

Idk, I may just drop the preorder and get the Harden edition.

False advertising may be harsh, but the guys who own Steelbook are hardcore in making sure people aren't using their name incorrectly.

And man, not even a Metalpack in that pic, but a damaged one.

Also, you went wrong cause the UK collectors edition included a steelbook game case. Unlike ours, which we get a basic case.

The Dead Space 3 one was kind of questionable, although there was no real CE, so I think people accepted it as a suitable replacement. This one just seems junky. There isn't a single thing in that box I would actually use or that is unique in any way to the game and as such I will pass.

In theory, but you probably wouldn't win the court case or even get it accepted in the first, plus the fees would vastly outweigh the settlement.

I won't get into a long winded version of this (where I would mostly be talking out my ass), but you could no doubt get a refund on those grounds with little to no hassle.
