The press release Sony sent out makes it clear that all preorders get the steelbook and everything else except for the DLC which is GS exclusive. The game doesn't release for 7 months, so it might take a while for them to update their listings.

Looks like Starcraft 2 heart of the swarm collectors is sold out everywhere.. Anyone know somewhere it's in stock?

God of war collectors selling out at a lot of places too.. I only see it available at amazon
 
How did that happen? I thought it was relatively common last I checked (and I could've sworn it was still in stock this afternoon at Best Buy) but like you said, now the HotS Collector's Edition are gone...time to find one.

amazon has been sold out for a week but everyone else had it in stock. It was in stock at newegg, bestbuy and target in the afternoon until like midnight then at midnight everything went poof

Bioshock Infinite songbird Edition is back in stock at gamestop, but only for ps3 and xbox360. PC is still sold out.
This edition is sold out everywhere.

I secured my ps3 version. It seems it was not overproduced like I thought, will keep the preorder for now.

I looked on ebay and I don't see this thing going for 250 bucks at all. I see it listed at 250 but there doesn't seem to be any movement what so ever. Is this supposed to be limited?

It is limited, it is basically sold out everywhere. the first bioshock collector's edition (developed by irrational games and Ken Levine) was really rare.

It is sold out everywhere now.

In all fairness, the first Bioshock CE was a GameStop exclusive. This one is being sold by everyone.

Did you play the beta? I thought it was pretty badass. Before I checked it out, I couldn't understand how they would be able to make GoW multiplayer cool. After I played I changed my mind. I'm really surprised at the reviews that say it sucks.

It sounds like the person you quoted doesn't quite grasp how dlc and season passes work. And keep in mind that most reviewers are under strict self-imposed time constraints so their review can be first!1 so they never bother to grasp any multiplayer so it's no surprise they don't like it. By that same token, it's why any challenge in games is met with disdain (such as the parts leading up to the end of Ascension) as it's just an inconvenience that delays the reviewer from moving on.

Well, it's definitely not "tacked on" like most people are just assuming. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to change their minds once they actually play it.

i went into gamestop to preorder beyond two souls and they told me they only have the normal version, is that right or will I still get the limited edition?

Gamestop only has one SKU right now which is the limited edition. That may change closer to release.

Shit... Id buy the new splinter cell if the game has Spy Vs Merc game mode.

Coop is OK. Spy vs merc is where its at. Btw has Ubisoft released anything that is truly limited?

I would go for the statue in the regular color (not silver), but I collect figures so that's just me. That paladin landed pretty hard for something that is made from foam. I doubt I would ever fly it around, though.

Of course I don't know that. But no CE has impressed me in terms of quality, considering the extra amount of money you are paying (yet I keep buying for collecting habits).

You may think the previous watches are good quality, because they were free, which is essential for our judgement. But when you pay an extra $50-$100? $50 can get me a very good watch of a good brand if I go to the outlet, so I doubt they will match my expectations.
 
I'm still debating if I should grab a Songbird from GameStop. It's just so difficult trying to justify an extra $80 or so over the Premium Edition for nothing more than a statue. It looks cool, but...
