Is that UK/EU only? Looks like a PEGI rating on the box.

Edit: Nevermind. Should've read OP.
It will be coming to the UK, they've announced who will be distributing it but not the retailers or MSRP. Can update when more info is available.

Isn't this basically identical to the GS exclusive US version?

Thanks for adding. FYI, we're trying to keep the OP in chronological order. I went ahead and moved this accordingly.

Looks like the DOA 5 case is just a metal case not a steelbook. Just an FYI, not sure if all GS are doing this but if you preorder a CE that is not GS exclusive they require $25 deposit. They still take $5 deposit for the GS exclusives though. Might be YMMV.
best buy and gamestop opened up preorders for acIII LE.
Amazon has as well. Actually, they did it earlier this week.
You are absolutely right, my memory is failing me. That steelbook you just posted looks better. Thanks.
It's the same as the normal case I believe. Or at least the one that's included in the deluxe edition.
Oh boy, 3 more steelbooks to pay out the ass for! lol
ur starting to worry me dude. stop buyin so much stuff lol

that being said, u wanna buy some steelbooks off me? :D

Did the Borderlands 2 Loot Chest Edition get restocked? I saw it listed in the BBY kiosk with the option to print ticket. I didn't actually try to purchase it so who knows but it wasn't in there previously.

Hm.. I used to pass on a lot of CEs because a vast majority of them ended up being way over produced but there have been quite a few in the last year or so that have been pretty limited. I'm wondering if the AC3 and the DoA5 CEs will be limited or not.

No one can say for sure but there are still 12+ of AC:B CE from 2 years ago at my local BBY.

Yeah, mine has a ton of those too (and AC:R CE). I think it really depends on the area, I happen to live in a small town where I seriously think I'm like the only gamer. And I sure as hell could give a toss about a statue!

There's a very slim chance you have one of the few game ones I still want, but I'm definitely interested enough to see what you've got! lol

AC:R = Assassin's Creed Revelations? There wasn't an Assassin's Creed Revelations CE released other than the Gamestop Ultimate Edition.
Looking forward to DOA 5 LE but was disappointed to see it was a tin rather than a steelbook. Oh well.
That's why I'm having second thoughts about that now. I already have it preordered but might cancel.

I have some double steelbooks that I'm willing to trade, PM me for anyone interested to trade.

I believe the ACB CE was the most produced CE ever in the history of gaming.
He probably meant Brotherhood. That one has a CE which is sitting all over quite a few Best Buys lol
I've never seen it at any Best Buys near me.
How much is the AC:B CE now?
saw it at best buy for $30.

i might get that nba 2k13 just for that ball.

I hate GameStop, but dangit, I want that DOA5 CE... preordered. Oh well. *shrugs*

I call :bs: on this. Sounds like a shifty GS employee trying to get extra $$ out of us, as I've preordered CEs from them in the past that weren't exclusives and only required the $5. Though I wouldn't be surprised if this is a crappy new policy that they are enforcing. Who else but GameStop?? *shrugs*

My last few CEs they made me put $25 down on, but they didn't for Agarest War 2. The employee working even thought it was odd that the computer let him just do $5 on it.

I know it used to be $10, wonder why they changed it to $25 now. Hmmm. I know I was told that if I put $25 down on a regular game, that when the CE comes out I can get it switched over the phone.

Editing this: I walked into Gamestop today to ask, and they do indeed now charge $25 deposit to pre-order a collector's edition or anything over $60 now instead of the usual $10 it had been for years.

Man, DOA and Ninja Gaiden have been my favorite games of this and last gen. It used to be so simple. A new one comes out, I'd buy it or preorder it (regular or CE) for a Xbox system at any retailer and never have to worry about quality of the game. Ever since the departure of Itagaki, I have to chose which console to buy them for. I would like to play these games on the Xbox branded systems (more friends and overall better communications on Live) but the PS3 always have an edge in graphics when it comes to the current Team Ninja's multiplatform games (examples NG3 and DOA5 demo). The game quality is also an issue as seen in Sigma 2 and NG3. Not only that, they keep releasing collector's edition at Gamestop. What kind of marketing is that? Don't they want people's money? They must realize Gamestop isn't on most peoples favorite retailer's list.
anyone interested in a killzone 3 helghast edition? i have it and it's just sitting here. i'm in socal if anyone wants to pickup
The same here but I'm in DFW. PM me if anyone's interested, thanks!

2012 Aston Martin Virage
2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG 2010

I've always assumed the pre-order deposit amount is determined by the cost of the item. I had to put $50 down on my white AC Vita bundle pre-order, for example. Since Agarest War 2 CE was just the standard $59.99 a $5 deposit makes sense.
About 9 weeks away from Ultimate Loot Chest awesomeness...too early to start a countdown? :)
I coded a timer for it on my Ubuntu...I was bored that night...

I made a little desktop gadget that plays final countdown music every day at midnight until the loot chest release.
Did the ultimate loot chest ever come back up for preoorder?
Buy.com popped up once, don't know if you caught that.
