That would make Quake a MOBA game... Literally every game where people battle each other qualifies then. WoW is a MOBA game then since it's online, multiplayer, you battle, and there are arenas. Hearthstone is also a MOBA now since it fits all of those words, too.

I enjoyed it alone. I also convinced a bunch of my friends (Real life and online ones) to buy it as well lol.

Played with a couple CAGs as well (Velo was awesome lol). If you are on PS4 you are welcome to add as well

I think you're being obnoxious. Arenas and pvp in wow would fit... Hearthstone no- It's obviously a card battle game. Quake- I don't rem any classes / heroes / objectives? The only difference in a true "MOBA" and most team based FPS is the hero / class system and perspective. Over watch is a first person MOBA- Switch the perspective to over head and it's lol or that shitty blizzard hero game heroes of the storm. It's not a stretch. Perspective shouldn't change the genre.

A MOBA is literally defined by the gametype. Two opposing teams fighting to destroy the other team's structure by use of periodically spawned AI that move along a set path. Whether that is in first person like Battleborn, 3rd person like Smite or aerial camera like League of Legends, it does not matter because again, a MOBA is defined by the gametype played. That is the main point, perspective DOESN'T change the genre because perspective has nothing to do with it, nobody is arguing that.

Any standard team based FPS is drastically different from a MOBA not because of perspective but the actual gametypes being played. CTF, TDM, Territories, Escort, etc are all gametypes played in such games, none of which have anything to do with MOBAs...

Yeah I've read Wikipedia.

Ok, so mobas are quite simply lane pushers. I understand the differences- I think we can agree that MOBA is a bad acronym. Technically and literally all online games with battling are mobas - which is itself a sub genre of RTS. Action RTS with heroes and lane walking spawns, or as I've seen somewhere ASSFAGGOTS I think it was

I actually fully agree with you. Just seeing what people think. MMO is another one of those vaguely broad terms. Fits most modern games - but we know it's a very certain thing. Sorry I got you ruffled.

Any official word on whether the Overwatch steelbook is G1 or not? game.co.uk lists it as DVD so that would be G1 and it seems there's still confusion on whether the NA one even comes with the case. Figured someone around here would know for sure.

 
Uh...I think Amazon dun goofed. The Overwatch CE's for PS4 and Xbox One are both showing 94.99. And the Origin versions are 48.99. I'm currently contacting them for a price match on my CE before they fix it lol

Apparently they are price matching Walmart's price. Good luck if you contact support and get a guy named Praveen. I got him 3 times and he's being a hardass, but "claims" i'll receive the difference back despite at first claiming Amazon only does price matches on TV's

Wasn't sure, never seen this big of a price discrepancy right after ordering an item. Hopefully so, the guy just made me worried when he started spouting random BS about not price matching. Also mine shipped already, sometime yesterday due to the Monday release

Either way I took screenshots and hopefully its on my account record incase they try to deny it

from what I can recall the only items they price match on the spot are TVs. I don't think that's ever changed, at least not recently. The preorder price guarantee is automatic from my experience. You should receive an email a couple days after the item has shipped with header "Your Savings from Amazon.com (order#______)"

Fail I would be all over overwatch if we could get the 20% off the collectors. Why I have no idea. Really don't like the team fortress style gameplay =/ Guess I'm just a blizard fanboy.

EDIT: Watching more gameplay looks more fun than team fotress.. So question PC or PS4? Suggestions?

I really wasn't planning on getting the Overwatch CE edition but for $84.xx (tax included) I said screw it. 

I wanted the Steelbook case...and possibly the statue even though I have absolutely no room to display it.
