Yea I don't know whats up with nowinstock, I still occasionally get alerts for Juggernog Edition (but only from Amazon), even though it'll show nothing when I click on the link from the alert. What retailer is the Pipboy setting it off from?

Edit: NVM, I'm guessing it's mostly the PC version from Amazon.

There's a reason I tell all of those Kickstarter/Early Access games to jump in a lake. Those are perfect examples of why I abhor that business model.

 
Oh well re: Mighty No 9.

I'm eager to play some retro inspired platformers, but being that I have 2 SEs and a Wii U copy ordered, my wallet can get a little break.

 
Like anyone asked for multiplayer that's taking 18+ months to implement.

I used to back a lot more Kickstarters. Now I just back translations (and Bard). Couldn't even bring myself to put more than $1 in the Battletech game.

Happy about this game getting another chance... but I really wish they would just bundled all 3 into one collection, especially 3 since that was never released outside of Japan (I think?). I don't even care about upped textures and whatever, just so the games ran at a native 1080p60.

Because we are constantly working on it in cooperation with all our partners, we want to wait and make sure that everything is confirmed to be ready before giving a new specific release date. But we expect it to realistically be in Spring 2016.

Sweet. Here's hoping it's actually a Steelbook and that the picture of it at the end of the video is just a concept art mockup. The fact that they call it an "Armored Case" and not a Steelbook makes me doubt that though.

I've heard so much good things about this one.

 
This generation having so many remastered kind of angers me, how many if at all remastered games did we get last gen? We'll eventually see the whole 360/PS3 library remastered for this ten when they could've just been put backwards compatible or left on those systems /rant

I agree with the sentiment a bit but don't mind them overall... they seem to drop in price pretty quick, usually. In most cases, these remasteres are outsourced, not in house so it's not like the developers aren't working on something else.

 
Regarding Mighty 9.  Am I little dishearten at the delay again, sure.  But considering how games are released these days half broken, I much rather have it delayed a bit an receive a actual proper functioning game on release than a broken piece of crap to be patched at a later date, of which happens far to often these days.

Now if we get a broken piece of crap even after theses delays, yeah fuck the lot of them.

I also don't mind much. Last gen, we had a lot of remakes that didn't keep true to what made them great. I only get annoyed when they do the remaster literally a year after the original.

Wasn't planning on buying this, but that is a nice looking piece of artwork on that case. Maybe I'll give the prime trial a go to save 20% when amazon puts it up...

Except that the underlying game is not what is causing the delay. Apparently they agreed as part of their deal with the outside publisher to include some online features and those have been the cause of the delays as the code is still buggy. There is no reason they couldn't have provided the final version of the single player game to the KS backers and then worked on the online features for the retail/physical release.

 
I imagine they called it an "Armored Case" because they haven't decided on what kind of metal case they're going to use.

Either that or they want people to think it's a Steelbook even though it isn't.

 
Typically, they give it a special sounding name unless it's Steelbook. I'm pretty sure they've decided on the manufacturer. Shame, cause it is beautiful.

 
Could be a steelbook just like the pipboy edition which was advertised as a metal case but end up being a steelbook. I think Sega is calling it a armored case because the game deals with tanks and armored cars, and is just naming the case after them.

sweet just got home from work and found my final fantasy explorers CE. i got several emails from square i don't even know when they shipped it. looks like they charged near the beginning of the month but it's nice that it's here a day early. packed in a snug box with an air packet in mint shape. hope you guys get the same today

Lucky! Thanks to that snow mine was delayed a day (possibly longer if they transfer the package to usps). And I didn't even get to miss work! Stupid snow...
 
Maybe? I'm still buying tomorrow.

Considering the type of game it is, I was expecting nothing higher than a 7 or maybe a couple 8's. Though I'm a bit sad frame rate seems to be an issue even on the N3DS.

 
Yeah after watching those gameplay videos, Final Fantasy Explorers doesn't look like it's going to amount to much.  It's an open-world, world explorer, with simplified combat, and stripped down story, on a handheld no less.  There doesn't seem to be much substance.
