yeah the second best buy ebay listing is kinda weird, over 1k sold already seems like a lot to have

hope you guys get it though!  i'll be waiting another week for my gamestop order to arrive lol

I wonder if you get one from ebay, can you return it in store and have them apply GCU to rebuy it?  Otherwise no tax on ebay is good too.

 
Anyone got the feeling this is a major screw up by Bestbuy? Especially that second listing with in store pickup only.
 
Yeah, something is wrong here but I can't imagine they'll cancel all these orders. 

This may be one of the oddest releases I've seen. I mean, most of us are betting on Fry's of all places.

Even when the site says something like "in stock next week", ebay still shows "in stock" for item pickup for some reason. I think they are counting items at warehouses but not in stock at stores yet, so I wouldn't expect it to be ready for pickup for a while if ever. Shipping might be better luck, but probably also not guaranteed unless there really are a ton of these.

But look at xenoblade CE and how bestbuy still has a ton and others don't, so it could be true.

I locked one in on eBay. Sucks no GCU but for some reason I didn't get charged tax. If they cancel IDC, at least I tried lol. I most likely won't play it anyway. Never played awakening, still sitting here sealed.

They all have free shipping.

And "listing has been updated by seller". So doesn't that mean somebody at bestbuy is actually manually adding stock or something?

It'll say that on occasion, but I think it's just because their storefront is being slammed right now.

I got that too, but I kept trying, and got a second order in.

Although, no luck on a third one atm. :*(

Best Buy has a ton of XCX SE because 95% of them were returned 3 and 4 times for being smashed in bubble mailers.

 
So I just got one from ebay, hopefully this is legit. Anyways, let's say that this is an error, but from now until they open they don't cancel my order. Can I go into Best Buy early in the morning and see if I can try to maybe cheat my way to get someone else's pre order by showing them my ebay order?

This is not good.  This is not good at all.  I cancelled my GS order way back when because I had the BB one.  I'm REALLY hoping we're all just stressing for no good reason and we'll all have ours in hand perfectly packaged in a box with air cushions from BB.com "tomorrow" afternoon... but something just tells me things are not looking good here...

 
Just got an "Item Delayed" email from Best Buy for the Fire Emblem Fates SE for 3/14. lol

I got my order in at Best Buy when it first went up.

 
Looks like they're going to fulfill the ebay copies first, while those who ordered from the site have to wait a month. ;D

Every sold out collectors edition that I've seen Best Buy sell. They have had extras after release. 2000 is not a huge amount of extras. Don't worry about it.
 
Why the fuck would Best Buy put some up on eBay when they haven't shipped their own orders from Best Buy.com lol...

They might not want to mass cancel the eBay ones since you get defects. The Best Buy.com ones might have to bite the bullet

same here with delay msg. man, bby need to get their act together. delay sometime turns into cancellation. wth, ordered within minutes of it being available.  

 
I got the delayed order email too. How come or orders get delayed but they have stock to sell on eBay?

I put an order on BB eBay just in case :(
