Yeah, I'd confused two different things I'd been talking about into one. My Bravely Second CE is from BB (and that's the "box condition" I was referencing), but my Mirror's Edge CE is the one that, due to presumed availability, I could swap out if it's damaged. Pretty bad when it took ME a few minutes to figure out what I was talking about.

My buddy swapped mine with his, because he trashes the box anyways. Funny, his came in a huge box with air packets. Mine came in a box smaller than the Mega Man Collector's Edition box lol.

Ok no worries, was just trying to help. I keep CE boxes, but anything that comes with an Amiibo I don't. Usually because it take the Amiibo out and it looks weird to display an empty shadow box, as where most CEs that come with a statue or figure don't have a see through shadow box.

 
For those that were curious, the Stella Glows that BB had on sale a few days ago were in fact Launch Editions which is pretty cool. I got mine today.

 
Got my Fire Emblem Fates SE today from Gamestop.  In an envelope.  Smashed to hell.

Seems like there are no companies in the US that will guarantee your shit arrives in not-demolished condition.

Anyone figured out what to do about an in-store pickup Fire Emblem/Best Buy/eBay thing that's stuck in limbo for pickup for over 5 days now? Best Buy can't cancel it because there's no order, but Paypal has all the money... *sigh*...

Remember the USPS slogan "If it fits, it ships!" I think that's basically the policy of retailers most of the time. For bubble envelopes, if it fits, it ships!

Don't see it changing any time soon. Said it before and I'll say it again. Whenever companies have to make cuts, one of the first places they'll start is customer service, shipping, etc. Anyone think the millionaires at the top of the food chain care how some average folks like us get our items? Or if we can get hold of someone on the phone who helps the customer diligently? Never gonna happen. They couldn't care less as long as their money rolls in and their company's stock increases.

I'm on chapter 10 of Stella Glow now. Chapter 8-9 was freakin crazy, I really like when the music changes when you conduct the witches in battle. Popo's and Lisette are probably my favorite.

I almost just placed an order on FRY's for instore pickup in San Diego, but I wasn't fast enough and somebody got it before me... I was just randomly checking sites and came aross it. I live in Los Angeles but would have made the trip lol

edit - could have been for the 3ds XL, I was in such a hurry I might have missed that.  I would not have taken the drive for that LOL

That is up to you and if you care about the outer box or not.

I personally would exchange it because I like my stuff to be in the best shape possible. Plus, Best Buy, or whatever retailer shipped the item to you needs to do it the right way and not half-ass it. Seems like this is becoming more of a trend lately and it is bullshit.

There's guides that have had little trinkets (Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Last Of Us), as well as other non-trinket items (Call of Duty BLOPS2, BLOPS3, usually a map), though some CE guides have had special CE versions like this one, Fallout 4, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Assassin's Creed Unity (?) that have bonus bits to go with the "regular" CE guide.

 
Since I've updated this thread along the way, my Fire Emblem Fates SE from Best Buy did actually show up today. Was a little dinged up from the bubble mailer but I'm not worrying about that.

Diablo 3 guide had a metal book mark also with Diablo head on it, had a litho in it also but I might be wrong on that one.

Dragon Age: Inquisition had three different OSG's:

Regular

Collector's

Inquisitor's

That was a little out of hand, but that ~$120 mofo sold out sure as anything.

Since we're talking DAI now, it's been a whole few days since someone asked about the broken pieces from DAI:IE. Anyone heard from Josh@TriForce in the last year? :)
