Yeah I got it a while back. I was a little surprised myself. But yeah, got it once the demo released. I remember playing the demo for the first time and checked my email and there it was. Thought it was a cool coincidence.

Crushed. Showed up to Gamestop after i got off at 8:30 and they only have 3 copies. 4 people preordered the game and I didn't get my copy because i was the last to show up. That's some bull. The one collectors edition I really wanted. To the bay i guess. 

 
Just noticed Amazon finally shipped my Bravely Second CE. Forgot I ordered it tbh. What DLC was I supposed to get? Checked my email and I have nada.

 
Just opened my BB order for Bravely Second CE and it is great! Didn't expect the book to be that big but it's really nice. Wasn't dented either which is always nice.

I don't think they are going to make another print run of this. I could be wrong though. I would demand you talk to a manager and have him make it right. Don't just shrug it off, thats bullcrap.

 
This Dark Souls 3 Guide is the shittiest guide I have ever used. One of the ways it advises you to go through the game totally locks you out of one of the Covenants....and it doesnt even give you any warning beforehand

I've only played the game for maybe a half hour so far, I just got to the major bonfire but looking at the guide just for that little part made me see how terrible it was, can you PM me the details of this or is it something easily to find online? Cause I don't want to end up missing a covenant choice

If you don't have a code in 48 hours on Bravely Second, follow the instructions at forums.bestbuy.com. You should have a code within just a few hours. You'll need to sign up for an account if you don't have one already as it requires PMing a mod.

You talking about Mound-Makers? I know exactly what you're talking about and on a fluke I read ahead to see what was included for the zone and didn't miss it. I feel you though, whoever authored the guide was either rushed or just an idiot about progression. Sad thing is, the wiki maps are far better than the shit they try to pass off in the guide but the wiki is still being made so I'm past where they can help. I'd advise anyone to just use the wikis and boycott this guide who isn't just wanting for collection sake.

Prima is shit.

For those who were asking and don't want to miss it, the covenant is in the Undead Settlement, or the third area of the game. Just make sure you complete the steps before defeating the boss of the area.

I ordered 2 from Walmart and they somehow managed crammed them both into a bubble mailer. Both were crushed to hell.

Sorry for the late reply, and yup thats it. You'd REALLY think they'd have that in bigger text that isn't slightly bolded and on the page AFTER they advise you to go down the path with that boss first, and even tell you to open the doors/hit an alternate bonfire before you engage it.

Luckily I wasn't really feeling my Thief character and wanting to restart anyway, so I went with Pyromancer and am blazing through and can probably get back to where I was in another hour or two.

But I'm totally done trusting this guide outside of the general maps/item areas. I'll be looking up stuff on Gamefaqs/Wiki's so I don't get boned again.

I'll give both BB and Amazon a few days to send me their respective Bravely Second pre-order DLCs and if nothing by the middle of next week, time to email them each.

 
I received my Bravely Second CE from BB yesterday. They shipped it in a good size box with air pillows. For once I thought I had a mint condition game. That is until I flipped it over and saw these weird fingerprint like marks on it. Kind of seems like someone had greasy hands before they boxed it. Did anyone else get there's like that? If so, is there any way to clean it off?

Ordered from walmart, received with some damage to box, also had weird dust covered looking prints. I think it may have something to do with how the material of the box rubs against fingers, stuff feels weird.

My Wal-Mart order arrived in what I can only describe as two thin cardboard sheets glued together, probably some sort of vacuum sealed machine. Zero bubbles. The results were not good.

For those posting about the Dark Souls 3 guide by Prima, yes it is terrible. I only bought it for collectors sake. FuturePress was much better at this.

In regards to the covenant that is missable due to Prima not being able to structure a guide properly there is another way to join it.

If you happen to kill the Curse-Rotted Greatwood before joining the Mound Makers covenant then follow the questline for Sirris of the Sunless Realms. After you defeat 3 Lords of Cinder you can return to the entrance to the boss room and activate her summoning sign to step into her world and help her. If you are successful you will be able to join the Mound Makers Covenant.

Note that you can "join" the Rosaria's Fingers covenant in the Cathedral of the Deep by getting the covenant item but offering any Pale Tongues to the covenant will stop Sirris' questline and null and void this workaround.

Yeah I saw. But that seemed super late game and even more missable and the Mound Keepers were the ones who had my eye as the Covenant I wanted.

Only took me like 2 hours to get halfway through the first area again, Pyro seems 100% stronger than my Thief so far.

I'm playing as the thief class, and I'm absolutely loving it. Can't wait to play it after work tomorrow!

I enjoyed Thief, it just felt like I was working way harder compared to other classes, especially on that first area. Even with the basic starter Axe it felt like I was putting out way more damage than my Thief was with a +1 Rapier and a Higher Soul level.

Seems like you can just as easily start with a Pyro and go with a DEX hybrid build (The only thing missing is really Luck, but you start with more STR and the ability to use Pyromancy)

 
A tale of 3 retailers. ​

Like I mentioned before I got x2 BS CEs from BB even though I ordered just 1 which I forgot to cancel.

But they came in separate boxes with air bubble baggies so they're in perfect condition.

1 of my buddies is still waiting for Amazon to ship his and my other buddy got his from Walmart which came crushed/ripped and it looked like it had been opened on top of that... He asked me to sell him one of mine after he returns that one.

My Amazon Bravely Second came in great condition, only had a slight ding in the corner. Taking off the stupid sticker did more damage to the box than they did.....

Either way its way better than the Bravely Default LE I got from Amazon. That thing was bent to hell and I ended up getting like $20 off of it after sending pictures

 
Didn't have much luck snagging a bravely CE on launch day. Maybe some will turn up on warehouse deals in the next week or so with all the dingers people are getting.

The six I ordered from Walmart all came in bubble mailers, two each (although the mailers were large enough to hold three), and were pretty much flawless.

Not condoning bubble mailers for collector's editions, but not all the fault lies with the retailer. It seems clear some of you are hated by your delivery drivers or something, because I've had hundreds of games shipped to me from various retailers and I'd say less than 1% of them have any kind of box damage... yet I see the same 3-4 posters on here that ALWAYS seem to get damaged product.

Sorry for the late reply to the guy that asked me about the respec covenant that ruined a side quest it is called Rosaria's Fingers. Don't join the covenant and respec until you complete a certain side quest.
