If Amazon ever bans me for asking them to fix their mess ups, I'll have no problem taking my business elsewhere. Really the only things I order from them anymore is random household stuff (odd cables, dishwasher stuff, laundry stuff) and warehouse deals. Considering most stores match Amazon and have better overall customer service, it's not a loss for me.
 
Interesting. So I went poking around Amazon's site about the DLC for BSec and I'm not seeing it anywhere. Did anyone get a screen shot of the page before Friday? 

BTW, I got my CE Saturday. Was dinged at the bottom left corner but aside from that, the rest of the box looked fine. And the art book is as tall as my Legend of Heroes art books - Legal size I think?

Oh, and don't bother with the music. Ryo may be good at writing Miku songs. Full game soundtracks, not so much.

yeah thats what i was trying to figure out if anyone else other than BB had been offering DLC for Bravely Second. I saw no evidence for amazon or even remember such a thing

 
I emailed Amazon about my codes and they're saying there was no such promotion for "Bravely Second: End Layer Collector's Edition - Nintendo 3DS" and the the promotion was for "Bravely Second: End Layer - Nintendo 3DS". 

So CS is basically saying the CE didn't qualify for the DLC... weird, never run into an instance like this.

DS9 basically got it right. If you are costing them more money than they are making, then they will close your account. Main reason why i quit using Amazon Warehouse since that is always hit and miss.

I can tell you it was Amazon's own fault for this mess. They didn't update the listing for the collector's edition when the preorder details emerged. Thus they didn't include that version when every other store that had exclusive DLC did. And since Amazon's CS department is leaving something to be desired for in the wake of a resolution I took it upon myself to contact Nintendo of America regarding the DLC. Their response was that all version should have included their respective retailer exclusive DLC content. So straight from the publisher some details and to add more to it Amazon CA confirmed that the collector's edition did qualified for the promotional preorder DLC. Yet Amazon continues to not understand the issue and refuses to budge. I'm made inquires to a supervisor to investigate with their marketing team the issue. I don't have much faith given the service given in this issue and that's rather disappointing. How hard is it to confirm with your own sister site and the publisher that this was indeed supposed to be given to customers?

Costume set. Mayhem was due probably due to the fact you could sell it on ebay and a lot are anxious because they want to flip the code for it. Sold mine for 15 on there. Im sure value drops daily on it now that it's been out for a bit.
 
I got my code from BB, but it didn't work. Googled and read online they don't work until the 24th?

Is that true? Did anyone else get theirs working on the eshop?

I'm only in chapter 1 but it definitely helps. 3 out of 4 main characters come back (so far). Is it essential? No, but your experience won't be nearly as good.

Maybe someone further along can give a better answer.

Yes, since a characters from the first one return, and the girl on the cover is in the ending of Bravely Default. Just be aware of the middle portion of Default, it is terrible because you repeat the same cutscenes with minor dialogue changes like three times.

Video games is dead on this generation & beyond. More than 2-4 version for a game. Should be 1 Full version & 1 CE or LE version. Everyone is greedy this day. Too many Add on, DLC, Season Crap or Pre-order Bonus Crap.

I interpreted the article as saying the $20 difference between the standard and deluxe editions is the "season pass at a discount" if they end up selling the SP for $30.

You're supposed to get the Caldisla costume set as a pre-order bonus. If you don't have it, complain to either the local store or GS.com customer service, depending on where you bought it from, in-store or online.

 
So, noticing the Uncharted 4 coin bonus now for the CE: I assume I need to cancel/re-order to get the bonus?

Also if I cancel an item at BB I used certs on the points will still come back to my account right? Been a while since I've had to do this. So stupid that they can't add it onto already active preorders...

I did that to be safe. Points normally show back up in your account a few days after an order is cancelled, though I've seen it take as little as 1-2 days. If it's just RZ certs used on the purchase, you'll be fine.

If you used a GC on the purchase and you don't have the physical GC any longer, you will have to wait for them to re-issue it, which takes 5-7 business days. I had to do this on my pre-order, so I used a different GC until the replacement showed up and used a RZ cert I had picked up in the meantime.
