FWIW, the next time someone posts a new thread highlighting a CE deal (or another deal that there's a massive catch-all thread for) and some of you try to get salty & say it should go in the catch-all thread...THIS is why people do it. No one wants to slog through pages of OT BS like this "pc vs console" crap to try to see if maybe there's something relevant. 

I'm just sayin'.

From what I've gathered from other forums, only a tiny number of people that weren't on the priority list have received a link. I suspect, contrary to their statements in the press, that Square never cancelled all the additional scalper copies and that North America only received a small amount of the 10K additional units they were able to produce.

Tons of people were on the priority waiting list and those people got first dibs. By the time they fulfilled all the priority waiting list, there weren't many left for the regular waiting list people. Also we don't know exactly how many people signed up for the waitlist. I suspect it was a lot, especially in the first hour after it initial sold out.

Yes, the priority list people didn't receive a link though. They just got an e-mail saying their order was processed. On all the forums I am part of, I've only seen maybe five total confirmed people from the regular waiting list say they received a link. I think you're right about tons of people being on the waiting list and from what I have gathered, the only non-priority people that received a link signed up within minutes of the sell out.

That' unfortunate but it also makes me feel better about not having missed an email since I was recently on vacation and service was suboptimal to say the least.

The FFXV CE will probably get a few cancels and that's it. Looks like it is going to be another Ni no Kuni.

I was told by my GS that they only received PS4 Gwent deck sets, no "blank" ones with a code on receipt like last time.

So XB1/PC owners can only buy the DLC seperately then send the proof to the redeemgwent dot com site to order the decks seperately through Jinx, but those don't ship until late June.

was returning my trade in doom today and picked up the Witcher 3 Blood and Wine LE DLC from gamestop, I think its GS exclusive and $10 more than the digital version (you get a code inside) but the PS4 version includes a big gwent card set inside, which is afaik the same cards that were in the collector's edition of the original game.  You can see if its in stock at your gamestop, they had a box of 8-10 at mine

I don't know how long to wait to buy that Witcher III gwent deck DLC pack.  Would hate to risk it selling out and miss out.

The cards are the same as the first dlc collector's edition?

 
The decks are different. The Scoia’tael and Monsters decks were from the Limited Edition of Hearts of Stone whereas the Nilfgaard and Northern Realms decks are from the Limited Edition of Blood and Wine or as the person above posted the same decks that were included in the Xbox One collector's edition.

 
Got 2 sets today since there is no XB1 version and I got Hearts of Stone on both platforms. So glad I didn't give into eBay temptations for these cards!

Given the surge in vinyl being a cool trend at the moment guess they figured they could charge a premium for a couple records.

Its a shit CE though, they might sell some if it were 80 bucks. Although I still wouldnt buy it. I never cared for the mafia games, they were boring to me.

Wow, I decided to contemplate on buying the Overwatch CE for PC when it came back in stock and once I decided I would buy it, it went out of stock again... That was less than an hour too.

hmmm...Odin Sphere got really good reviews...I cancelled my preorder a few days ago...but just ordered it again. I never played the PS2 version, though I do own it.

The reason for the price difference is the 2 DLC expansions by themselves were $10 for Hearts & $20 for Blood. You're then paying a $10 premium for the Gwent decks.

My GS had 1 preorder & only got 2 decks. Compare that to Hearts where they had a couple of preorders & got like 10 extras on PS4 & about 10 XB1 versions.
