That shipping charge almost always happens at BB in the first 30 minutes or so after a listing goes live.  Just contact CS after the fact and they will fix it for you.

That never works out for me. I had a game pre-ordered from them. I shot them an email, and they completely didn't understand what I was asking so they just cancelled my order and told me to do it again..umm...

Another trick is after the free shipping starts working you can change your shipping method and revert it back to your original choice and the free shipping should stick.

Sorry, I should have said "call CS" not "contact CS". I've called every time and spoken with someone who actually speaks English and haven't had an issue (I've probably done this on 5-6 different pre-orders now).

Haha, I know exactly what you mean. I used to do call center work back in college too. I still hate talking on the phone (and it's been nearly a decade).

3. Yet another game pushed to 2017. Guess I won't have ANY reason to get a PS4 this year. Le sigh. This was literally the only game left in 2016 I knew I wanted to get, and I was going to get a PS4 to play it.

Has anyone had one ship though? I only saw one person claim that they called customer service and that their order started to move, but that was for a PC version and I don't know that their order actually shipped, just that they were charged.

Ironic that you're complaining about the statue when there's clearly a picture of the limited edition version without the statue in your quoted pictures. Wasn't paying attention huh???
 
Welp cancelled my amazon order for p5ce and moved it to best buy. Still think I'm probably just going to switch to the steelbook edition but for now fuck it.

Exact same boat. All I really have room for anymore are steel books(and with a couple hundred of those I'm running out of space) but I felt compelled to pre-order the CE. It's a sickness.

Do all Odin Sphere's come with a softcover artbook? Ordered the Vita version on Amazon and it arrived today, they threw a soft cover artbook in there with it.

People always make this argument. But it is part of the problem. Instead of trying to build 2 years of hype, just don't announce the game. Don't announce anything until you know where you are at. When a company pushes back a game, it means their developers f'ed up or the scope got very out of hand.

In a perfect world, every game would be maximum 6 months between announcement and release. Keeps hype high and doesn't cause any skepticism with constant delays.

Well, I hoped to get one of the newer models later in the year. Now, might as well just wait to see if there's a Horizon bundle, or hold out until the next iteration of The Show (was going to get a PS4 and that, but the 4.5 was leaked right before).

100% paid attention. Note that I said "Collector's Edition," not "Limited Edition." My statement was a general disinterest in the statue, and a preference for a big CE with something other than a statue, for a change.You know, like how some games used to not get super-expensive over one item, instead giving you a bunch of different things you could, say, display on a desk at work or home. As a bad example, Inqusition (only bad because of QA issues), but also the Fallout CEs that had things like poker chips and a bobblehead and such, and how many games gave out soundtracks and maps and that.

I'd rather have small things I can set about, as opposed to a giant statue that takes up a whole shelf or desk.

Yes, but only to answer a question you stupidly asked for no good reason. I mean, OF COURSE I meant "I wish they'd rush the game out," as it's completely impossible that I meant "the 2016 schedule is disappointing, and losing the new IP I am most interested in sucks because I want to play it."

Guess it depends on the person.

Ive had countless games and movies get announced and get stuck in limbo for a while and take sometimes years before they come out. But if I want to see the movie or play the game my interest never fades. I just simply wait for it to come out.

I have more patience than most though, especially compared to the last 2 generations, probably because I grew up when you ordered something by mail it took 8 to 10 weeks to get it. So I dont have this short attention span, or need to get what I want quickly that makes me anxious or unhappy about having to wait. I want horizon to come out, but whats a few other months? It isnt like that is the only game thats going to come out or I can play until it releases.

I also know no matter when its announced I wont be able to play it till its out, delays or not. If I have to wait 6 months from announcement till its out, or I wait 10 months it doesnt bother me. It will be done when its done.

is it inside the packaging or seperate book? I got the PS4 odin sphere storybook edition and didn't get anything extra, but I didn't open up the case except to pull the game out. Big ol t shirt inside and I assume some sorta art book under it, but didn't check. Steelbook is gorgeous, game comes in a regular PS4 game case but it has a Not For Resale stamp on the back where UPC goes.

Game is pretty fun so far, I'm really not into JRPGs at all so all this anime talk is weird but I'm enjoying the combat system.

 
Got my Odin Sphere Storybook Edition in from Amazon. Its Gorgeous.

No extra softcover artbook but the Hardcover artbook is in the box.

Was separate. Inside the Amazon box was one of those manila envelope looking padded packages. Inside that was the Vita game and the book. Book wasn't wrapped or anything. Has the same cover as the hardcover book that's in the CE. Also 64 pages.
