WE should do like 3 sign ups per person so the line will move along faster and more people will join it. Just a thought. You'd only have to get 2 referalls on your own, thats easy.

can you explain some of the offers that you completed and the ones that are available?

I believe I did the eFax.com 30 day free trial and the Blockbuster online for a month.

efax.com involved installing a program on my pc and cancelling before the end of the month. That gave me credit for 1 offer and didn't cost me anything.

blockbuster.com involved signing up for a month of their service. At the time it was 9.99 for the first month. That might be different right now. So I paid $10 and got to rent movies for a month. As long as I cancelled, once again, before the end of the month there was no charge after the first month.

Don't know other offers that are available but if you look at the site, they are all there.
 
First everyone make sure you click on the activation link that is sent to your email i think that messes up alot of peoples offers and sign ups. check your bulk if you have yahoo.

i also suggest that 30 day trials should be cancelled after you get credit and wait at least 1-2 days for smaller ones.

About what you were discussing before, I wasn't trying to say you can only get the 4 referrals and then be taken off the conga, I was just saying maybe if we moved it after 4 or so then people who sign up later would have a better chance of moving to the top quicker. This number can change if people feel like 4 is not enough of an incentive to join the conga, I just wanted to make sure that everyone has a chance to benefit from joining up. They afford to give out a free $250 item because each time someone signs up for one of the offers, the company sponsoring the free site receives anywhere from $40 to $90, as the companies running the offers pay well for this type of advertisement. They require enough for referrals so that at the very least they break even if they have to send you a free item, and don't lose money. For example, a Nintendo DS or other consoles on freegamingsystems cost $150. They require four referrals, in addition to your own, so they probably earn near $200 or more. Therefore they can still afford to send out the free item and make a nice profit. Most of the sites you see online and advertised on other sites probably are scams and will just keep the money earned from advertisers and shut down in a few months. The ones run by Gratis and Offercentric, or allthis4free and some others people have been posting have been around for quite a while now and many of us here have actually received items from them. I know Gratis had a feature on CNN a while ago, which is about as reliable as it gets when it comes to news. The owners of the site were even featured on camera. There have been articles all over the net on which places are legit. If you are skeptical, I would stick to the sites run by Gratis and Offercentric since they are the most used. Someone can probably provide you links to stories on CNN or wired.com, or proof pics of their own free items.

Alright, thanks for reassuring me it isnt all just a big scam. Now which of the free things (discluding condoms, handbags, cds, dvds, game systems (because I already own all of them :D ) and "gifts" or whatever, requires the least referrals? I figure I'll start there and work my way up :D

There hasn't been any official confirmation of this, but I have to believe that with the new pricing structure for Ipods, that freeipods will start offering the 30 GB or the color 20 GB one instead of the one they currently do. They just recently started offering 6 GB Ipod Minis instead of the 4 GB ones, and they also now give 60 GB Ipod Photos instead of the 40 GB ones. night owl, you should have joined the congas too, or since you don't have a free psp or a gaming system one you can trade with some of the others. Last year I signed up for an Entertainment discount book and registered online. The thing is friggin awesome... I've saved at least $250 so far using the discounts in the book. Today, I received an email telling me that I could send a special discount to friends who wanted to purchase an Entertainment book of their own, plus I'll receive some sort of reward for signing people up. Unfortunately, I have to send the discount out to each person individually. So anyway... If anyone thinks they might want to purchase an Entertainment book at a reduced price, PM me with an email address and I'll send a discount your way.

Not sure what you mean, but if you mean signing up for a site like freeipods twice, you can't. You can only have one account on each site and can only complete each site once. I guess you could get around it by using a friend's address and email, but if you try to use two accounts on the same site they have pretty strict terms of service for that and will put you on hold indefinitely.

I forgot to mention that you can get an XBOX 360 and a PS3 there if you want. The selection is pretty good. It works on a point system unlike others where you have to wait on referals. I know you may be wondering why I have the referal link and its because this is another option they give you. If you can get all the signups in one night all you have to do is wait for everything to be validated and then you have the points for whatever you want.

Hmmm, I'm not sure then. I think the companies running the free sites only get paid for unique referrals probably, but this might vary by offer. I don't think they would let you, but it might be better to write to the site before completing the offer so you don't waste your time doing it a second time if they're not going to give you credit.
