Just starting a thread for deals for the Playstation VR.

I picked up the Core bundle off Amazon and I'm looking for a cheap camera and move controllers.

I found that best buy has some cheap playstation 4 cameras on sale for 39.99 with free shipping.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-playstation-camera-for-playstation-4-black/8245153.p?skuId=8245153

If you all know any good deals for move controllers or launch games, let me know.

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (PS VR) $15.99 via Amazon (Prime Price). https://www.amazon.c...heapassgam08-20

Thanks to purbeast for mentioning (and Moonbathing for confirming) that Firewall is online only. It prompted me to look up a video review. Although the guy gave it a 9/10, I realized that it just wasn’t my kind of game. I like shooters but rarely play online. If it goes plus I’ll definitely give it a try though

It's by far the best aim supported game on PSVR but incredibly dumb the game requires plus, even for bots. Moreover it really is an MP focused game so it's smart to know whether that's your kinda thing or not.

Wow how is Firewall only $10? That is a steal. However, you NEED to have PS+ to play this game right? Since it's online only?

Just to clarify, Firewall has always-online DRM even for single player, but PS+ is not required for single player. Single player is a solo terrorist hunt training mode where the maps are populated by lots of enemies (not a full structured 4v4 match with all bots).

Gamestop is having a pre Black Friday sale starting this Sunday with Astro Bot and Creed for $19.99. Firewall is $9.99.
Thanks for the heads up. I already have an aim controller so was waiting on a good discount for Firewall. Anyone actually play it? For $10 and the ability to resell it's a pretty safe bet, just curious if anyone here had impressions

Hmmm maybe I'll buy it at $10 just in case one day I get PS+ again or get a trial.
It looks like they "fixed" the ad (with hilariously awful typography), Firewall is now going to be $19.99.

Haha damn, in that case I'm out.

Didn't Star Trek and Werewolves Within have always online drm too? Yuck, I expected this type of scummy crap from Ubisoft but why is a Sony published game playing us like that? It's sad to think in 20 or 30 years when people want to experience the very first vr systems some of these games will be nothing more than paperweights.

That's pretty funny the way they slipped that 1 in there like that.  While they were at it, they should have used a different font and color, too.

Definitely YMMV but some Walmarts are clearancing out the Doom bundles. Store in Ft Myers, FL has 3 for $74 right now.

I live near this store, and it sucks. They can never find the clearance deals, and the department managers are no help. I went in looking for one of these yesterday and they said they don't have them. They even had the 17.3" Acer Predator laptop with the GTX 1070 for $399 last week with 4 available on brickseek and said they didn't have any (brickseek went to 0 after two days).

And this Dell G3 Laptop for $249 (still showing 2), told me they didn't have it either. https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/?sku=822934571

Damn, that sucks. I was looking forward to picking up Firewall for $9.99, but I am on the fence at this price. I like the idea of the game, but with it being an online game in VR, I don't see myself playing it a ton. I still need to finish Astro Bot too which is the game I'll play over anything else when I put the headset on. Anyone who doesn't have Astro Bot though for $19.99 it's an absolute steal and well worth the price.

Guess It's just an upgrade to Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition with this sale for me.

My buddy tried out Astro Bot last night for the first time and after the first level he took off the PSVR and was like "that's enough - I'm buying this - how much is it all?" and when I told him it's $100 off for the Moss/Astro Bot bundle over the holiday he got pretty excited. So he's going to pick it up this week.

wario pointed out base psvr system (v1? Not sure) is $69.99 at GS, in store only but there are multiple stores reporting as having them in stock, could be a good deal for someone

they've also got a few ps4 games like ratchet, bloodborne, wipeout, the last guardian etc for 12.99 in cart.

In case anyone was not aware, Best Buy has free shipping on all orders - no minimum required.

I was able to price match Astro Bot from Gamestop's ad and get free shipping as well.

Store locator shows none near me but I have a 4K TV and the HDR breakthrough box seems like it would get real annoying on one hand but I save over $100 on the other. HDMI cables are on the side of my TV so it isn't even that bad.

It's kind of a pain tbh, I use the v1 box, it's really stupid that they couldn't make the hdr box work with v1, and even dumber that it launched without HDR pass through to begin with when it got launched around the time they were adding HDR to the ps4

I find Gamestop's reward section so confusing. Last night I thought I was using my points to get a $5 off cert for online only and ended up getting one that was in-store only. So I showed up at Gamestop at 10:59 this morning and was the first person in the door. I got Astrobot and the employee that pulled it out laughed because I got the last copy. He thought it was kinda funny that they only had 1 copy of 1 of their big advertised specials.

I might have to abandon my quest to get Astrobot & Creed instore at Gamestop. Wanted to get it in store because I have credit and it’s no tax. Online they charge tax with credit. But I’m getting dangerously close to being late to work. There’s a million people in line here

Doom needs them or the Aim controller. Skyrim is Moves or the DS4. Astrobot is DS only.

Yes, those are pretty much the same as what they re-released alongside PSVR. If you already have Move controllers, the $200 bundle is all you need and you get two great games to go with it.

It really seems like GS should have had a few copies of Astro Bot in all of the stores. None of the stores within 75 miles around me, granted only 3 stores, had any copies at any point today. That's absurd. I did get an online order placed in store so I could get free shipping, so I am not too disappointed but I was looking forward to playing tonight and now I don't get to.
