Just starting a thread for deals for the Playstation VR.

I picked up the Core bundle off Amazon and I'm looking for a cheap camera and move controllers.

I found that best buy has some cheap playstation 4 cameras on sale for 39.99 with free shipping.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-playstation-camera-for-playstation-4-black/8245153.p?skuId=8245153

If you all know any good deals for move controllers or launch games, let me know.

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (PS VR) $15.99 via Amazon (Prime Price). https://www.amazon.c...heapassgam08-20

I remember someone here was keeping a nice spreadsheet of all physical PSVR games. Does anyone still have a link to that google spreadsheet? I'm trying to figure out what to use my GS b2g1 coupon on.

Made use of my Elite Pro, 20% off birthday coupon, and B2G1 at GameStop and got Tetris Plus, Deracine, and Robinson the Journey for about $50 total after tax. A bunch of VR games suddenly came in-stock today, I think someone offloaded their VR collection. All games are complete and in like new condition.
Not bad. I just bought Tetris at Frys for $31. Super excited for this game. Played the original nes version for countless hours.

I absolutely love Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 VR. I let my friends see it. They know what’s up lol. Sucks though now with Sony’s new censorship rules on games a part 4 won’t happen. Sure Scarlet is coming but that’s just DoAx3.5

Censorship rules are even worse now? You couldn't see anything in DoAX3. Anyway, I wish the whole game was in VR and not just the photo mode. Could have saved myself like 70 bucks.

I'll always be a proponent of more "adult" games on PSVR (and PS4). Import titles like Summer Lesson just aren't cutting it. How else am I supposed to feel love in my life?

Awww, checked online for Tetris Effect used and none came up anywhere.

I just completed the Beat Saber campaign mode.  I'd say for me the hardest level was the 3rd to last one.  The ones after that were kind of a piece of cake, although the last level I mis-read the goal (I get confused with the min ones, dumb challenge imo) but once I finished it with bad cuts below that number and failed, it was pretty easy to get it right.  I hope DLC comes out soon, although the leaderboards help with keeping the score of everyone so you have a goal to go for.

Picked up Statik, UD: Rush of Blood, and Farpoint. I almost bought Farpoint physical last week, waiting paid off. Batman is tempting, but I've heard it's maybe 2 hours tops.

Great game, waaaaaaaaaaay too short. Sure there are collectables/trophies you pretty much need to replay to get, but way too short for the great idea it is. Betond that it is fun.

Just checking, I thought I saw that the PSVR was gonna be $100 off at Gamestop. I can't find it now. Was I mistaken?
Not sure on gamestop specific but Sony is doing a $100 off VR Bundles starting the 16th going thru the 26th, including the Borderlands 2vr and Beat Saber bundle. should be for all retailers.

Moss has been on sale for $20 over the Thanksgiving holiday.  Also I purchased SuperHot physical from Europe when it released earlier this year.  I don't think it has a physical one outside of Europe.  I got it off ebay so I'm not sure exactly where in Europe it came from.

Got a PSVR Skyrim bundle over BF holiday time and have been looking at adding some new PSVR games -- Is Farpoint online play (requires PS+)? Might get Gunjack -- prob short game, most VR games are it seems but a good cheap price. Thanks for the game listing, btw, much appreciated.

I think you got excited with a run-on sentence and also just wanted to generate discussion, which is fine and fun, but i'll answer your question in case you haven't looked it up yet. :) Farpoint is single player only, I believe, and does not require PS Plus.

How can the firewall bundle be on sale yet the two year old farpoint bundle is still MSRP?
Because most people interested in an aim controller already bought the Farpoint bundle so the Firewall one isn't selling? Also, because Firewall is a mainly online game that needs a robust user base to survive and its single player stuff is minimal and locked behind crappy DRM? Just a guess.

I can’t multiquote since I’m on mobile, but here it goes...

The Farpoint Aim bundle is oop and has been sold out at all major retailers for quite some time.

Farpoint is a great single player game. I’ve never seen a PvP mode (unless I just missed it), but there is absolutely a co-op mode that is online. I played a little bit of it and it was fun. My buddy and I had a hard time beating it. It seemed like more of a challenge than the single player mode.

Batman Arkham VR is short but also really great and has added replay value with riddler challenges that unlock after completing the main story line. It’s made by Rocksteady and Takes place in the same continuity as the console Arkham games, although there is no combat. It’s all detective work. I picked mine up for about $12 physical off eBay and was very pleased with my purchase. This is definitely one to check out

For PreyI thought the typhon hunter game mode was going to be in VR, but it isn't. Only the escape-room mode, TranStar VR, is in VR. A nice surprise is the TranStar mode is out now. I thought only typhon hunter was out because the update is called Typhon Hunter.

There are three levels to play through, and what seems to be some kind of tour of the space station (that sounds like something I might really like). I didn't want to blow through the entire thing in one sitting, so I only did the first level. Also, the game mode does ask which is your dominant hand, it requires Move controllers, you move by aiming your teleport with either Move controller, and there is only 90 degree quick turning.

I thought Prey was great, so just being in it's world was awesome. The first level doesn't take long to play through, but it took me a while because I was just going around looking at everything.

What's funny is I played the main Prey game after playing a lot of VR. For the first ten minutes it felt weird playing a first-person game on a TV. The game felt so distant. What stood out the most was thinking "I'm looking at an in-game monitor on my TV.". In VR it would feel like I'm in that room looking at that monitor. What's cool about this update is that's exactly what ended up happening. That's where the first level takes place.

That even validates my point more. Countless gamestops are sitting on them. It's always been MSRP which is why it isn't moving.
Except that it hasn’t always been msrp. I bought mine on sale for $64. Various retailers had various sales on it back when it was in print. And I’m not sure about your claim of countless gamestops sitting on them. They are sold out online and—I’m not sure where you live—but no store within the search radius of my zip code has them in stock

I have 12 stores under 100 miles with it in stock and I’m sure I could dig further. Closest is 10 miles away and they have at least three in stock.

I’ve wanted this for a while though my price was sub $40 due to the controller being most likely similar to a wii balance board, use it once and it goes in the attic.

I finally played Robinson: The Journey after scoring it for $20 at Walmart months back. I sat on it because of the bad reviews* I read in this thread, but I really wish I hadn't. Of all the adventure games I've played on PSVR, this one might be my favorite (not counting Moss and Astro Bot). It's a beautiful alien world to explore with prehistoric creatures, an AI companion and a pet baby Tyrannosaur named Laika.  Highly recommended if it ever goes on sale for $20 or less. My only issue is that it's kinda short (5-6 hours, by my watch) and the story ends kind of abruptly. However, getting the platinum was a pleasure since there are no missable trophies and all areas are available after you finish the story (fast travel is also unlocked, for extra convenience).

*I think the main complaint was that it gives motion sickness (due to full locomotion/segmented turning), but I never got sick once during my playthrough. I've now officially owned my VR unit for 1 year, so all that experience definitely helps.

I started playing pixel ripped. I'm on level 3. Is it just me or is the in game game screen really blurry. Maybe my expectations for pixel art are too high, but the pixel art is so blurry it's hard to see what's going on at times, I feel like I need in-game glasses to see the screen properly.

Sprint Vector definitely has a single player mode.  I've only played the beginner tutorial and first race so far so I can't say much beyond that.  Haven't tried online yet either.

I mainly got it so I can get a bit of exercise while I game. :)
