Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

The original Xbox Live 12 month subscription card with communicator bag I had been keeping an eye on finally dropped at my local Sears store. Price marked $39.97 when I went this past weekend it scanned $23.97 today $14.97 :) there were two when I went this past weekend I got the last one today.

I noticed several new drops today but I did not bring enough cash with me I will report back tomorrow.

Command isn't that bad, but its not nearly as good as console Fox.

Anyway I don't think they dropped prices. Went to a couple Sears today and didn't have much luck.

I did stumble across a few copies of Chibi Robo for $5.97 and an addition for the OP:

Rogue Galaxy was $19.97 at my Sears, and EBA was $16.97. DK King of Swing was out of the system, but he gave it to me for $5.99.

Checked on SNK Vs. Capcom, but it was $13 or $14. Grr.
 
Was just at Sears... Nothing good, I saw the logitech harmony remote behind the case, but didn't ask the price for it. All I got was the Intec Xbox 360 Controller Cradles (To see what they are on amazon: here) for 1.97 for two cradles. They work good for about $1 each. The skew is 58 91800 and its called "360, CNTRL CLR" with a UPC of 804926086441.
 
Found a DDR: Mario Mix for the Gamecube (game and dance pad) priced at $17, but rang up for $14. I had checked the same store a dozen other times, but it just appeared today.

Hit up the Sears in Fayetteville NC at the mall and got the following:
Rumble Roses XX $5.97
Eragon (360) $9.97 (for my bro)
Dead or Alive 4 non-ph $17.97 (didn't like this price, but i need it)

They have a small bin with games in it, and alot marked $39.99 are ringing up at clearance games, so I suggest scanning all of them (only scanned a couple I wanted). The prices aren't the uber-cheap ones, but they are better then what I've found at other sears/B&Ms.

Stopped by Manchester, CT Sears and picked up War of the Monsters for $3.97 (after an additional 25% off as marked on the clearance bin) Nothing more to report from that location.
 
stoped by the sears at lloyd center in portland, OR they had quiet a bit of clearance items, I picked up 2 12-month xbox live cards for the original xbox for $14.97 each. they had one left. they also had like 10 logotech psp cases for$2.97, an xbox 20gb HD for $53 and change, and misc othergames and acc.
 
I just happened to check out a videogame clearance bin at Sears (Nashua,NH) and found the limited edition Perfect Dark Zero(with metal case and extras) and asked for a price check. Came up as $10.97! Great deal if you ask me

yeah thats a good price. i havent seen the LE's for awhile now at any Sears. but they definitely still have them at TRU at $9.98
 
Yesterday I got:

Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 3x $14.97
Resident Evil Gamecube (Players Choice) $14.99 (was tagged like a "front lane" game)

I also saw many Halo Triple Packs behind glass. I couldn't remember if they were clearanced or not and couldn't find any employees to open it to find out. So I went away not knowing... guess they weren't clearanced after all.

I picked up a handful of 12-month sub cards with the communicator bags today for $14.97. They were behind glass and marked $39.97.

I'm torn on going back for Elite Beat Agents at $12.97. They have several copies, so it might last long enough to go lower, but they could sell out due to the holiday crowds.

If it's to play I would highly recommend it. I bought it at full price and it was well worth it!

I found a store that had the November stickers on the items. Nothing really stood out just yet. I was considering Legend of Spyro (GC) for $14.97. I also saw Starfox Command for $14.97, Chicken Little (DS) for $10.97 (supposed to be a good shooter), and Elite Beat Agents for $13.97.

Also, apparently, all the old stock front lane games are now either $8.48 (if the original price was $9.99) or $11.97 (if the original price was $14.99). These are the front lane games that came out about a year ago (Legend of Kay, etc).
 
Went to Sears for the first time in ages (while the wife was shopping in the mall...I have to kill time somewhere :D) and picked up:

Ace Combat X (PSP) $14.99

I also had Pro Evo Soccer (PS2) pricechecked $14.99, as well as Lost In Blue 2 (DS) which was $19.99. I might go back and pick up Pro Evo 2007 at some point or wait for K Mart to discount the X360 version ($25 at last check)
 
So am I correct in assuming that the old original Xbox Live cards still work in creating and extending Xbox 360 Live accounts? I know this was the case previously, but when I called Xbox Live they reported the contrary. I'm not sure the CSR knew what she was talking about though...

Thanks for the reply, he didn't by any chance have an original xbox gamertag which was ported to the 360 right? I don't remember which board that came from, but someone said it would only work if the gamertag was the same as an original xbox live one.

Edit: Had to use the code on Xbox.com, my console wouldn't take it. Now I'm back up and running after getting scammed on my initial Ebay 12 month subscription fiasco.
 
i've used a couple of the old xbox live kits (the ones with PGR2 and the headset) and both of them worked perfectly - even though the box/card said that it expired 3/31/07. I just signed up for my gamertag when i got my 360 last year.......so i don't think that would be an issue.....

I just got back from a Sears store in my local mall. On a shelf labeled clearance were 3 copies of Rogue Galaxy for $13.97. Most places are still selling this title for $39.99.

Kmart.....last time I had a copy scanned, it came up as $7. And that was a month or two ago, so it may be $3 or so by now.

I'm not sure what the original price was that it was at prior to it hitting clearance, but I've got a feeling it's not going too much cheaper than the $7 pricetag.

Went to SEARS near me and picked up all of their Xbox Live 1 Year Prepaid Subscription and the last two Logitech Harmony remotes. From what I read, even though the Xbox Live sub is from the original Xbox, it works on the 360. When i get home, I'll confirm. THE ONE FROM SEARS DOESNT SEEM TO HAVE EXPIRATION DATE. I opened one already to check and no date. I read that even if it was expired, it still works.

CONFIRMED!! The cards work on Xbox360. I made a new account as I never had a Live account and it worked

Has anyone seen these items in teh Raleigh area? I want to pick up the subscription since my runs out in two weeks, and the remote would make a nice gift for my dad
 
Smells like a YMMV deal to me. Good pricing on the XBL but my Sears never seems to have the same prices as seen on CAG .... guess they're adapting the KMart pricing policy.
