Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Just picked up one card from the Hollywood Sears on Santa Monica. They still have 2 left. Also saw about 4 or 5 20GB HD, but no remote.

Of course as soon as I read this I bolted out the door only to find....DONUT..NADA...ZILCH...so EXTREME YMMV on this one, I saw NONE of the items mentioned at my store. And of course traffic was HELL on the way back. If anyone has a live card or remote that they will sell at cost to me, please PM Me.
 
Yeah the SEARS at Willowbrook Mall in North NJ has a video game section the size of a clothes rack...they need these deals to be online too lol

Thanks OP and thank you TooGood for the notice! I picked up those very last 2 xbox live cards you mentioned. Did not see remotes in the game section, but plenty of harddrives.

I checked out the Sears closest to me to see if I would get lucky but to no avail. But the employee told me that they clearenced the 3-month cards as well for get this - .97! If someone can find four of these puppies, they'll get a year of Xbox for about $4 or 92% off normal price! I'm going hunting tomorrow as I have 4 more stores within 20 minutes of me.
 
I bought some of those Xbox Live Subscription cards a few months ago for $6.97. I also saw the hard drives for $62.97 a few days ago.
 
I think my XBL subscription will be running out in Jan or Feb. I'll definitely check out this clearance, see if I can snag a card. Hopefully my Sears hasn't been raided by selfish hoarders :whistle2:(
 
i went to Sears today & asked a rep & she brought out the 360 memberships w/ the cam. may have to go back tommorow, i was on my lunch break
 
No dice on the clearance stuff mentioned in the OP but I got the HDAV Cables for the 360 marked down to 8.97 as well as a Viva Pinata FP for 2.97 and the dumb folks in the DVD section had the Superbad BR out so I picked that up too. Like everyone else that has asked if anyone has an extra card they are willing to let go of at cost please PM me.

Anyone bother to check any SoCal locations? i have the UTC Sears near me in san diego, i may go check, but can't make it til next week probably...can anyone make it sooner?
 
I just got the Harmony remote at the Santa Monica store and there was one left for anyone local. They're on an endcap by the glass cases where the games are locked up. Hilariously, they're still tagged at $109.

I was about to order the 550 for $80 literally _yesterday_. This is such a great deal. Many thanks to the poster.

I credited SD if you read the OP before it was merged. Not to mention, the OP in this clearance thread also has it but the price is outdated. Not to mention, SD had two threads. One was remote + HD and the other was Live + remote.

Those looking for remote, there have been some people who took scans of the receipt to CC and/or BB and price matched. Its a YMMV
 
my bro has one of those harmony remotes. how much are they ringing up now? they are definitely NOT worth more than $20 i would say. the remote has a very "cheap" feel to them. i like the fact that the buttons are backlit.

I'm going to completely and entirely disagree with this poster. These are professional quality remotes. They feel substantial and they work very well. the remote is intelligent and learns pretty good as you use it. The software is pretty easy to use. It's been a life saver for me as my wife has no ituitiveness when it comes to identifying various remotes and how you use them. I bought it last year for $60 (was a great deal at the time). They still sell for $99 in most stores, and are worth every penny you spend on them.

considering they are clearancing these out, i would have to say that they really didn't sell very many of them and they are not a popular item. it sat on the shelf for 2 years since the 360 came out. i saw alot of them at target as open box items over the last year or so and they sat there for weeks (until maybe they decided to sell them to goodwill). maybe they had a better chance to sell them if they did a price cut. if it worked out for you, then great.

Ever thought of maybe they were clearancing out cuz they're clearing inventory or for new stuff? Logitech stuff is hardly cheap quality.
 
I finally hit a Sears last night (not really convenient location for me). No Xbox Live sub cards or Harmony remotes, but I did see two copies of Kameo for $10.97 (one was original packaging, one was platinum hits), two copies of Superman Returns for $17.97 and one copy of Eragon for $7.97 (this was all for Xbox 360).

This was at the Arrowhead Mall Sears in Peoria, AZ.
 
i went to two sears in illinois. Only one of them had clearance items, they only had one xbox live card. I got it for only 8 bucks, as it was in a 50% off bin. They had a few component cables laying around as well, which would come out to about 8 bucks. This was in burbank, illinois at the ford city mall incase anyone is interested.
 
Well I just called and they said it's not in stock... but the guy seemed kind of confused so I don't know if I ought to trust him.

Oh well.

QFT... I know there were alot of them sold last year on these very boards (including one for myself) when they were $60... it is a very nice remote, NOT cheap
 
Thanks to the OP of the separate thread. I picked up two $15 Live cards. I am going to swing by another Sears tonight and try to nab the remote.

I never would have seen this deal without the separate thread.

Exactly what I was about to post. I never check this thread because it's usually a jumble of ymmv deals. The subscription cards were definitely worthy of their own thread IMO, and without it I never would have seen it.

Just swung by my Sears & grabbed all 3 of their subscription cards (1 for me, I'm good through 10/09 now and 2 for a friend) and a Harmony remote. I'm very happy about this, as is my friend who has been looking for a Live deal since his recently expired.

No cards or remotes at sears in tucker.
 
if i happen to find one of these xbox live subscription cards at my local sears or anywhere else, i can sign up as a new user to xbox live on the 360 and it will work with my 360? can i get 2 and get 2 years? are u guys SURE its gonna work? hit me back! :)

Any Harmony remotes left? I was going to swing by Sears today, but was too tied up to do so. I haven't gone in there in a long time.

Yes it will work on 360 and yes if you buy 2 you will get 2 years.

That would probably be because the original price on these is $129.99 and at that price, no it's not worth it for most people. @ $60, I think it's a good deal. @ $20, its a freaking steal and I would buy one for every TV I have regardless of whether it has a 360 attached to it, plus a couple spares.

Pretty much everyone who comes over to my house ends up wanting to steal my remote.

Let me also chime in that these remotes are excellent quality! Controls everything in the house, including Tivo and is easy as hell to use.
 
Called my local Sears in Fredericksburg, VA and they said they had one remote in stock but they couldn't find it. So I went to BB and price matched ( the girl never even check the SKU number to see if it matched the receipt scan). As I'm walking out of BB, the guy from Sears calls me and tells me he found it. So as of this afternoon, Sears in the Spotsylvania mall had one on hand.

There was at least one more. They are behind the register tho, on that rack that's back there. The remotes are all the way on the bottom of that shelf, in the far-right corner. I had looked all over electronics for them & decided they must not have them. When I went to check out, I saw what looked like the corner of the remote package on that shelf, covered over by something they had stacked in front of it. Had the guy check, and sure enough, it was the remote - rang up for $36.xx. I had said if I found a Harmony for less than $50 it was mine. :)

Anway, again, yes, I'd be surprised if the other one that I saw wasn't still there as it wasn't really hung in a place that it would sell. Check the rack behind the register.
 
Sears is having a "10% off sale", but it ends at Noon tomorrow. Might be able to save even more on the items they are trying to clear out... if it applies to those too.

 
A lot of SD members cleared out Nassau County, NY Sears. Lake Success still has 2 20GB HDD left and many had the faceplates.

I got the last Harmony 360 remote at the Hicksville, NY store so I'm a happy camper. Guy had to get it from the back.
