Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Feel lucky your Sears even had any games lol... mine had all of I think 7 PS3 games...all retardedly priced in the glass case.

I guess I can get some barcodes and double check the pricing but I doubt they are different.

I was VERY dissapointed when I got there and found nothing after some of the reports in this thread lately.... hmph.
 
very few games had been reported over the last month or so (look at the highlighted games in the OP)... any new prices for the pink, blue and halo 3 controllers for the 360?

The Blue Controller was 31.97 at my Sears.

You need to get :360: Moto GP '07 in there as it seems like a recent thing (still tagged $14.97 where I saw it, but rang up $4.97).

I'll definitely be keeping my eye on the Blue controller prices, as I struck out getting any of the clearanced controllers from Kmart. It seems my Kmarts are being stalked, so maybe I'll turn to Sears more now.
 
I saw a couple of the Star Wars PSP slim bundles at one of the Sears stores near me in case anyone was looking for them. I've heard they're hard to find since they were a limited print. Maybe if they hang around long enough they'll hit clearance pricing...
 
I hit up my Sears last night and found the sports games mentioned above and

:ps3: Tony Hawk Project 8 for $4.97

That was the only copy of Project 8, so I picked it up for my newly purchased PS3. The guy ringing me up couldn't believe it, since I checked out at a register not in electronics.

I almost grabbed Virtua Tennis 3 for $8.97. I may pick it up next week if it's still there.

I went to the Platte Woods Mo Sears last night and saw some sweet deals on GBA games. Most of them were 4.97 but I did get the Lion King 1.5 for $1.97. There is a lot of stuff mis marked at this store. Fortunately there is a scanner located right across from electronics.
 
The Sears in Frisco, TX at Stonebriar mall had one Metroid Gamecube bundle for $29.97 left last night. Almost bought it for a backup, but I assumed it didn't have the component video output.

I'm pretty sure they were regular price (they were in the glass case so I didn't check). I mainly mentioned it because I've heard the Star Wars PSP is sold out in most other stores.

Well they are mostly sold out caused they were clearanced. I have not seen any in a while......wait I take that back, I saw some at my Costco south of where I live. Those have been sitting there a while and doubt that they will clearance at Costco.

But anyway, they might be clearanced like they are at K-Mart(I have heard from other CAGs) where they hide them in the glass case. You should check it out next time your there.:cool::cool:

Need for Speed Most Wanted - $11.97 (PSP)

When the hell is SEARS gonna clearance their $14.99 GCN titles like RE, Viewtiful Joe, etc.? No one's buying 'em...
 
haha i know exactly what you mean. my sears still has games like super monkey ball and viewtiful joe for 14.99. and i cannot tell you how many copies of that new sonic game (well the newest i believe) they have for each console. There are like 20 360 copies. Time to clearance those bad boys out
 
I went to my Sears and picked up some no name wireless PS2 controller for $2.97. It's the Game Elements Wireless Controller (UPC: 026616007400). They also had a wired one from the same company for the same price. And they had a wired one from Intec for $6.97. I was a little flabbergasted though when I got Capcom VS SNK Card Fighters price checked and it's still $23.97. WTF!?! Seriously, why is it either $2.97 or $23.97? Did it just randomly stop clearancing at some stores?

This happened at mine too. I know for a fact I saw it at less than $10 at some point, but they had a ton so I waited. Several people in this thread reported the $2.97 price, so the next time I was at Sears I went to buy one, and it had gone up to $23.97.

Before you do that at least check Circuit City if you haven't already since it's clearaneed at 17.96 at CC.

I stopped by Sears this morning while I was out and only saw two copies of Meet The Robisons for the Wii for $5. A worker had some shelf tag type prices in his hand and let me see them. It had all or most of the 2007 PS3 sports games at $5 and Tony Hawk Downhill Jam listed as $5 also but I didn't see any of them. Kind of odd as I'd think that the tags he had would be for games instock and was thinking that maybe the stock is really off on what they physically had on the clearance list.
 
Picked up Untold Legends Dark Kingdom for the PS3 for $4.97. At my local sears I left one copy but that was about all the PS3 budget games aside from sports games

Some games just don't drop in price for some reason. I have been checking ATV Offroad Fury 3 for PS2. It is tagged for $7.97 with a June sticker on it. The thing is that, the sticker is from LAST June as it has said that since last summer and it still scans for $7.97 a year later.

At the Sears in my area they are just on a shelf. Some games have red stickers, also Sears has price check things around so you can check and not have to bother with teh CSR's.

was at sears today:
Pink wireless controller - $30.97
64mb Memorycard - $4.97
Tons of game for 4.97 (mostly sport)
some other thing but i forgot prices.

I saw some HD DVD player but it has a 49.99 tag on one of them coudn't check price because they were in the glass case. Anyone know how much sears has those for? I want one of them but not for 50$ it'll be nice if it around 15 or down like kmart. Can't find any of those hd dvd player or pink wireless controller at my kmarts =(
 
Does anyone know what happy feet for the Wii goes for, its greyed out on the list and my sears has like 9 copies of it, employees are less than helpful and they sit and watch the TV's even when I am the only person in the department, thanks.

i would be interested on the price as well. i dont know what type of UPC this has though i tried printing it but its different.
 
Man, I wish my Sears had self-price scanners. There's so many items that I'm curious about, and there's usually only 1 person working in electronics.
 
Happy Feet was $14.99 at my Sears. They had a bunch of crap 360 games for same price. Nothing on clearance whatsoever.

I saw two pages of shelf tags that a workers was holding and let me see when I was in Sears Sunday morning (as I mentioned in a post in here a few days ago :)) I didn't see anything worth noting that wasen't already mentioned in this thread.

CR was exclusive to walmart.. but i guess since it didnt sell well they (walmart or the distributor) probably started selling all of them to other retailers. and yeah the box for CR DOES say walmart exclusive.
