Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

I picked up F.E.A.R. for the 360 and the manager checked the price. Of course it came up RTV (Return to Vendor) and she wouldn't sell it to me, lol.

Went to my local Sears and they cleared up the clearance area for games a bit. Found a PS2 multitap for $3.XX and passed on it.

Also found a new PS3 game that was clearenced

$24.99 - Lair

Not much else though struck out on $5 dollar Halo 3 and nothing else of note

I went to another out of the way sears yesterday and they had a crapload of clearance games, now keep in mind most of these were bad games. Most of this stuff is not worth purchasing. They had Zookeeper DS and Flipper critters DS for 10.97. Also an assortment of GBA games for around the same price and of course a bunch of games for every other system. It looks like they are clearancing the holiday 07 games with the sticker UPC on them. Saw a copy of mario kart double dash but it scanned full price at 29.99 and it doesn't seem all that rare as copies on ebay are going for less than that.

Thanks for the info, I found the Amped bundle for the same price. Great deal since I think it is $49.99 almost everywhere.
 
Luke warm deal at the Sears in San Bernardino, CA, as of yesterday they still had 2 hd-dvd drives for the 360 if anybody in the area is interested. I passed myself, but i did buy scene it for the 360 for $24.99, which unfortanately was the last copy i saw in the glass case that is, because according to sears.com, it is still in stock.
 
My haul today from Sears:

2 Halo 3 Limited Editions $4.97 each (1 for myself, 1 for a friend)

Another friend of mine went and purchased a Halo 3 Limited, so I am not sure if they have anymore. They weren't on the floor, they were in the stockroom. The cashier was shocked @ the $4.97 price. He might have kept a few for himself.

Was Call of Duty 3 for Wii 4.97 only or does it apply to the 360 or PS3 version.

Hmm, just last week Target had them for $14.99 but that's over now. If I were you I'd keep an eye out in upcoming CC ads since they matched the $14.99 price a couple weeks after target had them at that last time.
 
I price checked every Singstar PS2 game UPC (game only no bundles) since I thought if the Amped bundle was on clearance, maybe the game only versions would be to. All scanned for full price.

I also scanned UPC's for NHL 07 for the 360, $29.99??? (I thought it would be under $5) and Super Princess Peach was $34.99.

I don't know about Eternal Sonata, but Naruto Ultimate Ninja for PS2 was 4.97 today. I also grabbed 2 CoD 3s and intend to get them price matches at Best Buy tomorrow (since the stores are in the same plaza they just call them up to confirm the price)

Well I found it at another site.. I am guessing it is invalid for some reason now though, or else it would not have been removed.

eternal sonata is still MSRP. i check that game everytime i'm at kmart or sears. it's gotta go down one of these days, been there for like 2-3 years.
 
I've been looking at Eternal Sonata too. It's been in my Kmart and Sears for at least 2 month now T.T still no drop. And yeah the 1600 Point cards are all ringing up 24.99 now old or new version of the card >.>

That'd be a trick, considering it hasn't even been out a year yet...

Gonna check my local Sears tonight, it's been a while - hopefully a copy of Scene It! awaits.
 
Is Super Princess Peach worth it? I saw a copy mixed in with a lot of junk in the clearance bin yesterday when I went to check out my local, but I didn't bother scanning it to see what the price was.

Its alright I bought it a long, long time ago when it came out and it was okay. I would get it if it is like under $9.99
 
Saw Singstar Amped for $13.97, and Singstar 90's for $19.97 (both bundles with 2 mics).

Worth it? Does anyone know if those mics are compatible with the ps3? One could save a bunch of money by getting a BC ps3 and getting these instead of rebuying the songs from the Singstar store.......

It's a fun and easy mario-esque platformer. It's a good way to unwind as long as you're not expecting any sort of challenge.

Yes, the mics are BC on the ps3 because they are exact same ones that are being sold with SingStar ps3. I might have to venture out to find one of these bundles myself. . .

I went to the same place and found another FEAR. He read from the screen that it was defective and had to be returned. He said it was still ringing up $29.99 and that he could not sell it.

I scanned it at $34.99 a few days ago. It was in a clearance bin too so I thought I'd give it a try, but no sale.

On a related note, Toys'R'Us advertised this game as a "Toys'R'Us Exclusive", so maybe they got exclusive distribution rights to it from now on. I haven't seen it in stores aside from TRU in a long time before I did at Sears.
