Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Thanks. I'll have to take my chances with Canton as I doubt I'll have time to run down to Rolling Acres.
 
Final Fantasy 5 GBA is 9.97
Snoopy vs Red Baron PS2 is 9.97
NASCAR 08 360 was either 9.97 or 14.97
Onimusha 3 PS2 is still 26.97!

These were all scanned at a Sears with Feb pricing and all but Onimusha had higher stickers.
 
Mine local sears never goes cheap :( Whoever live in Missouri (Antioch Mall, Independence Mall and Lees Summit) is no go. The price still expensive and i only find 2 games Dynasty Warriors Gundam (360) $15 another 2 stores have it for $60 and $20 (price check) and Manhunt 2 (PSP) $5. All other games on the list still $15 and UP :(

If I weren't in Ohio, I'd make a point of going to that store with all the credit I could find, raiding the whole damn thing, and then taking pictures of all of it. Then I would return it to another store in another state.

That's EXACTLY what happened to me in the past, which is why I say 'my local store', since I doubt many are paying attention when I've mentioned my location before(thankfully).

Any price update on the 360 120gb hdds? Is the $109 listed on the op still valid? I located one but the sticker price says $150 and the employee wouldn't scan it.

I scanned one yesterday, and it came up $149.99, but this store had a few strange things as well, like Lair (PS3) still scans $24.97, Two Worlds (360) was marked $19.97, but scans $24.97, and Warhawk bundle scans full price.

Do you scan the games or just go by the price on the label?

After today I have to say God bless the lazy employees at the Antioch Mall store in the northland!

Snagged the following:

:wii: Battalion Wars II

All were mismarked $19.97 but rang up $4.97 each!:D

I posted on 2/6. Either I missed the posts about :360:Turok for $4.97 or I saw them after I had already gone to Sears.

Anyway, went back today & lo & behold no Turok (There have been at least 2 in the case since the damn thing came out!). The copy of Two Worlds that I left there, gone. Chromehounds (I was checking for a friend) was also gone. GH2 Bundle, which was there a couple of days ago, POOF!

As I have been going there for some time, I know the electronic employees (older people, not interested in games & clueless about the clearance prices :)). I did not know the 2 "youngish" guys who were working today. There was a space in the glass case where 2 Turoks would have been. When I asked the employees, one guy mumbled something about it going on clearance & then told me I should try Gamestop, if I want the game.

I used to feel that posts about employees taking the games were just paranoid rants....

Or it could be some Hoarder Lurker! If I ever find out who this "HoarLur" is I will play against him in a video game & KILL HIM ALOT!!!:twoguns:

No front lane sticker. I thought that it was odd that it was on clearance since it was a game from 2006 and there are others that are older and still full retail. UPC is 053941703028. My Sears still had a couple copies.

Thanks for reminding me. I checked 3 stores and FEAR was $29.99 at each store. Maybe its supposed to be Fear Files on clearance?

My local Sears is horrible for deals, the first and second pick-ups I got were from far out of town (a 2 hour drive). Ever since I got lucky enough to find 2 copies of MMR at my local, the manager (Jorge is his name) pulled all the old Holiday items (the one with printed UPC stickers). I only got Sims just so I wouldn't have to trade in my copy of Shadow of the Colossus during the trade 3/4/5 days, since Hollywood Video was so insistent on not giving quality customer assistance and they were getting raided every Monday. Don't get the impression I'm mad or anything from your post, just wanted to defend myself.

I just got FEAR for PS3 for $4.97.

The Exton, Pa., Sears has plenty of 4.97 games, all outside the case tagged with old prices.

Right... the first FEAR was $29.99 for :360: at my Sears. I know the second one doesn't come out until this week.

This is why I should've really grabbed ALL of the damn PS3 Singstar bundles(4 total at my local stores) when they still had them instead of the ONE I did for $10, as well as all of the Warhawk bundles, since those ALL disappeared once I bought ONE.

Mind you, I had no need for 3 extra Singstars or 2-3 extra Warhawks, but the BT headset alone from the bundle is probably worth $15-25 I would say.

But my hoarding days are done and behind me. I just hope that whoever got those bundles actually got them to PLAY since I could've used the extra money I could've made from hoarding/flipping/selling them.

On that 3 pack, did they scan the UPC on the back or some kind of yellow price sticker? Last month the 3 pack was $3.97 but only when I scanned the yellow price sticker. The back UPC code on the insert that holds the games in place scans for $9.99. I was hoping they fixed to have both scan at the clearance price since I only saw the ones without the sticker but didn't have it scanned.

Man i really have to check my sears. Everyone keeps getting the games I want. Hope no one hit my sears yet. I might go tomorrow.

I should really take a picture of the haul I took down this month - just for fun.

I got a call today from a guy saying something to the effect of, "I heard you guys have some games on clearance?" I responded with a, "Yeah," and he asked me to tell him what we had, like I was on a portable phone or something and could just traipse around the department telling him what cheap stuff we had, and I could have only imagine he would have asked me to hold it, too. He was looking specifically for Battalion Wars 2 and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam. It all sort of made me giggle, 'cause I can only be left to believe he posts here, or at least lurks it.

I knew we didn't have them, considering someone bought out the DW:G before I got to 'em and a co-worker and I got the last three copies of BWII.

Who's in Columbus, Ohio?
