Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.


List

• date = date posted or updated
• cp = current price
• opp = old posted price
• (oos) = out of system
  
• * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)

Colors

• white = current update
• dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)

if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:

• Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
• Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  
• If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
• Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
  • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
  • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Saw Eye of Judgement for $29.97 yesterday (scanned). Sometimes some stores have unique price adjustments.

I think whoever does the clearance drops is on vacation or something this month. Better luck maybe in August.

It's possible your Sears may have been really late in updating the June drops and thus the July stickers (with June prices). What were some of the prices you saw again?

Just three gaming related items that I've posted not too long ago. (Eye of Judgment, Nyko 360 Rechargeable Batteries, & a PS2 remote control)

They also had a bunch of iPod cases with July clearance tags but there were too many to remember specifically.

I didn't get the chance to ask the cashier to scan other clearance games other than Folklore if they've dropped.

The EoJ price and Nyko Battery Charger prices are definitely new and not in effect at the Sears I checked today. I figured the best deal for one of those chargers was the 15 I paid at Kmart last week and that they would sell out around that price when they dropped again at Sears. Didn't figure they'd drop that much in one drop.

Sounds like the employees just made space in the cases, unless your store has a specific clearence area. Most stores in my area have those 29.99 and under section though

That really is a shame no drops for this month.

I know I got some stuff with JULY stickers, though I'm not sure if those markdowns were done before at other Sears's.

I think they did what they were going to do on 7/3.

My guess is that they dropped a bunch to $19.99 (I don't have $29.99 and below sections, I have $19.99 and below) to get as much as they can for it before they clearance it next month. The clearance sections are overloaded with games for $19.99.

We've seen this before, a month with no drops or very few. June was an amazing month of drops, so I expected to not see that much this month. Haven't been to sears since mid June myself.

Was at my local sears last night checking out appliances when I strolled over to the game section. Mind you I'v been checking this store for over a year and all of sudden there was a 120gb xbox hd with a 150 dollar price sticker. Had the guy check it and it came up 69.97 so I couldnt refuse. I was amazed it showed up out of the blue.

I'd love to know where people found Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo DS on clearance as is listed in the OP. I've had it scanned at several stores now, and it's still been $34.99 at all of them. I know it's all YMMV, but these stores are all usually pretty good about keeping up with the clearance prices.

It WAS on clearance about two years ago. It has since returned to regular price.

Just bumping it as a general reminder for people to keep an eye out for drops. Things don't always get reported until CAGs randomly check for them, e.g. the Eye of judgment at $15.

Might have been though. I was at a the nearest Sears a week or two ago. There electronics is right across the aisle from the appliances. And noticed a 120 GB priced at 150 that was there out of nowhere, certainly wasn't there the month earlier when I was there. Took it up to a scanner and it came up as 69.97. I was going to buy it but I didn't really have the money to spend on at the moment and convinced myself I didn't really need it. I didn't say anything since on here since I was still considering that I might go back and pick it up, but I wasn't about to stoop to a level of a hoarder or stash it somewhere. I put it right back where I found it. I was just down there again a day or two ago and it was gone. Oh well snooze you loose. Like I said I didn't really need it, just hope another CAG got it then.

On another note, that Sears usually sucks when it comes to clearance games. I noticed 5 clearance titles locked up in the case that still come up as full priced when I finally find a employee to price them for me.

Unless the K-Mart I was just at like a week ago has done a major drop, I highly doubt it. It was still like $40 there, and it's roughly a 30 minute drive to get there.

That doesn't sound good. I can't believe it could be 2 months in a row of no drops. At this rate I wonder if they could skip a lot of months maybe even until next year with the holiday shopping season a few months away.

kmart clearance helped me through this month with no sears, but not NEXT month

Yeah there isn't going to be much dropping at KMart next month. The last drop had all the $4.99 stuff dropping to $1.99, this drop had very few games dropping and with no new games entering the clearance cycle at KMart, once the current stuff drops out of the system, there is going to be next to nothing.

The same thing is going to happen with Sears. The current clearance stuff not dropping is going to sell out and with no new games added, it will be a dry spell. Even if new games get added at the next drop, if they start out at $24.97 - $39.97, it will take a few months for them to get to low ($1.97 - $9.97) prices.
