Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Well, Singstar :ps3: dropped to $10 in December last year, and Full Auto 2 to $5(I think), so Sears has done drops before Christmas
 
The same thing happened back earlier this year. January was a huge drops month, where the following two months had very little / nothing. April and May had a few items, and the June was a huge drop month again. Not every month will have drops, but we're likely to see something in September (hopefully) if August has nothing.

Um vision cam is 19.99 on August 6 but that your are in the movies game is 19.99 right now isn't that the same cam I am confused by this?

Yeah dont ya wish that there was some way to keep SD members from being able to view site ....that would rock.....cause automatically any deal gets posted is a feeding frenzy for all the ebayers and hoarders.
 
It's not only that but just so many more people reading SD that people just buying games for their collection outnumber everyone on CAG looking for clearance deals. I remember when CC had montly clearances, I usually was the only one in the game area with a list at each drop (since CC never updated price tags). Then it gets posted on SD one month and the next time I am at CC, there are 5 - 6 people with lists.
 
Geez, with whole threads practically devoted to flipping and denying most clientele out of a decent deal, you really think the readers of this site are a great deal more honorable? It all sounds shady to me. Though I'm certainly grateful for CAG's existence.
 
Honestly? You think our Sears insiders are going to take the time to pm every single person requesting the list of drops?

I'd like a pm, too, please.
 
I'd love to check out the 360 drops if you wouldn't mind PMing me. Mainly interested to see if Oblivion GOTY is on the list.
I'm a bit confused how this will cut down on lurkers posting on other boards though. What's to stop a potential "lurker" from requesting a PM and posting the list elsewhere?

I can't do the PMs. I understand your concerns, but A.) I shouldn't be sharing this information in the first place before activation, B.) I actually want everyone to have it, as it benefits our store, and Sears as a whole, to move not moving merchandise, and C.) let's face it, there are a ton of members registered to CAG. How many of them actually post? There are just as many "sleazebag", "no good", "straight to eBay" folks roaming CAG who never post. Probably two or three times as many than that actually post to this thread. That being said, here are the clearance lists.

I took a good hour, hour and a half scouring for these, essentially risking my job, and posting them here for everyone to enjoy. Does that include people who will never open the games and immediately resell them? Probably. Does that include people who will buy the games and enjoy them? Absolutely also. Use the list as you see fit.

As a side note, chances are, there are more drops. These were the only drops I could find because these were items we still have in stock. Chances are, anything that was at X price point dropped to Y price point that you don't see listed that you may come across in your travels.

No PMs. The list is public. There is no reason to hide it. Honestly, hoarders could ask for the PM and who am I to discriminate? I can't tell the difference between who is asking for it and who is not. I want everyone to have a fair shake at it.

It's no problem. I don't mind sharing and I don't mind the requests for PMs. But I just feel like there are so many ways to find the information, that I should share it with everyone. Because again, I cannot tell who is who. I could PM it to people who are hoarders/resellers anyway, ya know? It's easier on me just to put it out there.

No problem. Keep in mind, some of the old drops, like Folklore may have dropped. I don't know because we sold out of it at the $19.97 price point, but anything that had previously ended in .97 probably will drop this time around. :cool:

These should be universal with more drops that I didn't list only because our store didn't carry them. I.E. Folklore I anticipate has dropped from $9.97, but I wouldn't know because our store sold out at the $19.97 point. I would check anything that was previously on clearance; chances are it probably went down.

Also, I did forget to mention that Silent Hill has an MSRP drop of $10 and Rock Revolution dropped $5 MSRP. I think those drops, the MSRP ones, start Monday.
 
Thank you very much for the list. There are 2 copies of Spiderman left at my store. For $5, I'll pick up a copy for my friend who semi-wants it. I thought it was a decent game. The waiting game begins...

Well, I reckon any store that participates in promotions, etc. will be updating these prices.

I'll try and contribute next week seeing that my Sears still has some clearance games that sold out in your store that could have dropped in price.
 
Huh, that's not a bad list. I've been wanting to give Spiderman a try, I heard this was one of the better games made for it in awhile. Kane and Lynch seems meh, but worth a shot. I still won't jump on EOJ though. Still too expensive for me.
 
Riccaboni, Thanks for the post man, we really do appreciate it. Especially cause it gives us a heads up since we havent seen many drops at sears for a while! Gonna jump on the live bundle since I'm trying it month to month now....for $20 though, think I'll bite.
