Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Alpharetta Sears has the off brand Xbox 360 chargers with batteries for 15.00 bucks and Rock Band SE for Ps3 for 45.00 bucks. I may swing by tomorrow and check if people think the prices will be dropping on Friday...
 
There's an Onimusha PS2 game that's sat at 26.97 at a Sears here for years. Guess they forgot about it, send it to the island of misfit toys! I was at the same Sears today and they had fifteen or so 360 cameras in the clearance bin and fifteen or so of the 360 memory cards with geometry wars, unmarked of course. Hope the cards drop as they're 24.97 right now. Don't know where the game that were in that bin went to.

while were talking about onimusha.. i had an opposite situation at a target where they had literally 3 shelves filled with onimusha 2's. they were not marked and from what i gathered, they were transfers from other stores and they have forgotten to mark them. this is when target was like sears: things stays on the shelves on sale and unmarked! i tried to get at least a couple a few times but the game was out of the system! they couldnt figure out how to look for the last price and they wouldnt sell it to me for just any price but $20. meanwhile the other end cap had 50 to 70 copies of tony hawk 3 for ps2 marked at $5 each :applause:

Yeah you do have to watch out we have a bunch of "Hometown stores" What whatever the fuck they are. Went into one just to see if they had games and was told they could order them from sears.com for me. I can do that at home. Having said that I've had some good luck in the montgomery and birmingham sears. Have not been up to huntsville or down to mobile, I cant justify the dive since I'm in central Bama.

I know this varies by every location, but I have the day off today so I can go at any time. Anyone have experience with when the drops are done and put out in the bin? I would like to try to get the jump on the deals.
 
Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway (PS3) fell to $4.97.

Everything else was gone at this Sears though so I couldn't check anything else.

It scanned for $9.97 at this Sears last week, so this is definitely a new drop for this particular Sears.

Well, by "new" drops, I actually meant that I hope they add some titles that hadn't been on clearance previously at all. Pretty much all of the titles that were on clearance before have been cleaned out from here at this point.

I got Strangehold for $4.99 from the girl at the register, but then the other guy that was at the other register told me that the price is going to drop down tomorrow to $1.97, so i returned it and the next day i got all 3 for $1.97 Each, not a bad deal at all but i must say you scored really nice.
also I noticed that they had the PNY 2 GB USB's for $7.97, was tepmpted to get it but it was a killer price, so i skipped it.
 
Those flash drives I believe are the green ones only. Last month the green ones were 1.97 and all the rest were 7.97. I am not sure why that would be, but it was true at all of the stores I went to.

You and I had exact opposite days then. Austin's Hancock Center Sears will not carry game for the next few months due to remodeling. Apparently the Sears you're near (the N or S Austin Sears? I want to hit it up too.) seems to have gotten all their stock.

I just stopped by Sears in Paramus, NJ:

Pretty much everything was how I last saw it. I asked 2 workers about the price drops, they said everything was changed today EXCEPT the games.

I had the following scanned regardless:

Pretty much exactly what I saw last week. They said about everything I scanned, except Blacksite for some reason, was on clearance so they should drop eventually.

I saw the xbox live camera and Dual charger station (Nyko) for 4.97 as well. Also found Stranglehold (PS3) for 1.97. When i asked for a price check the guy at the electronic kept saying DAMN DAMN DAMN. It was funny. THen when I went back to the front register to pay for it the lady their gave me trouble she didn't believe the game was $1.97 because I can somehow hack into their system with my mind and change the price >.> made me wait like 15min when she called an manager to verify >.> Stupid ass mexican lady (no offense) she couldn't even speak english right >.>
 
Brought in my UPC sheet today and guess what I found!! Rock Band 1 SE Bundle (Xbox 360) was on clearance and is only $14.97. It was about $60 2 days ago. Jumped on it as quickly as I could (since I've been waiting for a good deal on some extra instruments for a long while) and didn't check any other games. After I checked out, the entire electronics department fled over to the remaining rock bands. I'm guessing my store is OOS now. Thanks to the person who said the most Sears are dropping prices today!! :applause:

Also, a live vision camera for $5 sounds great. I'll print out that UPC and check it later (since my store locks up most of this stuff...)

Hey, let's try not to inject racism into this thread (saying 'no offense' doesn't give you carte blanche to say whatever you like). Plenty of store clerks would and do freak when they see video games scan up at $2.00. Being Mexican has nothing to do with it.
 
Took the :360: 120gb HDD I bought on Monday back to the Sears I bought it at, and scanned it on the in store scanner, and it was marked $29.99!!! I went back to electronics, and the cashier was fantastic when I told her it was $20 cheaper today from Monday. She was very gentle with my first return/rebuy at Sears. :)

Happiness is a cheaper hard drive. Definitely made my vacation.

Their games section was a mess. It was on the stand up racks, not the bin. Didn't get a chance to look at what then had for what.

This is good news. I just got $10 returned to me for price matching the Eye of Judgment I bought three weeks ago. Now I'll get $20 back on the hard drive.

Hoorah and thanks for the update. I've been holding onto the harddrive since I bought it for $70, slowly getting credited as they clearance it down. $30 is absolutely beautiful.

Just went back to my Sears and price checked the Live Vision Cameras and it was on clearance for $4.97! This is the only Sears I go to and they NEVER have any deals like this. I think I'll go buy some lottery tickets today :). Thank you CAGs!
 
Just got denied by a manager on price adjusting the hard drive I bought two weeks ago. Said they can't price adjust any clearance items, not just apparel, like their website states. He would do a return/rebuy, but only if I still had it in its original packaging, which I no longer do.

Buy the new one and return it with your old receipt.

Kind of dishonest, but if they wont price adjust for you, i think its fair.
 
Got 1 Nyko 360 charger and 3 of the 360 Vision Bundles for $4.97 each. If anyone is interested in the vision bundle, let me know and we can make a trade.
 
Is EoJ a good game? Or are you guys just buying it for the camera? There are a few in my Sears but I can't price check it because it's locked with one of those thing. May be $10 for that game and the camera is a good deal. I'm looking to get a camera for my PS3 to prepare for that motion thing anyway.

Buy one at another retailer, do the return/rebuy, and then return the harddrive to the other retailer.
 
Viking, Stranglehold, Blacksite, Haze, PS3 Fantastic Four etc are all now $1.97 or $2.97.

Also found Pro evolution soccer 2007 for Xbox 360 for $1.97. Er, yay.

Weirdly the 360 Rock Band was clearanced for the incredible low low price of $112, yet the PS3 one was $20.
 
I don't know if this has been mentioned at all, but today at New Hartford, NY Sears I got Folklore for the PS3 for $2.97. They had a lot of red tagged games there and it's possible there was other deep discounted steals there as well for anyone who is local to the area to check them out. I've not been watching the lists to know what's a steal lately and I was more than willing to pay the $4.97 that was marked on this one, but was happy to get it even lower. I'm pretty sure I bought the last Folklore there.

Saw a copy of Viking PS3 that magically appeared in the case. Think I'll stop by tomorrow and pick that up for $2.

Also, my local store still has $99 price tags for both versions of Rock Band on the cases, with the boxes nowhere to be seen. Any chance they would be hiding in the back? Interested for about $20, but who knows if they even exist there any more....
 
Somehow I managed to get a Rockband SE for 360 AND a EOJ bundle for 4.97 total!!
I thought he punched it in wrong, but the receipt said otherwise...it just didnt make sense.

I also picked up viking for 1.97, ps2 Guitar Hero for 1.97, some of those usb flash drives for .97. I wanted a vision bundle but NONE to be found at any SEARS in my area. the 512 mb 360 memory card was also 9.97. (not low enough haha).
 
I bought 3 things at Sears today:

2x Vision Cam-$4.97 each
1x Cranium Bukakke:wii:-$6.97

The Cranium game went to Blockbuster for $16 in credit and the two Vision Cams and the headsets that come with them went to two seperate Gamestop stores for $10.57 for each cam/headset bundle in cash.

I left behind a Rock Band SE for the PS3. It wasn't marked, but I had it price checked and it came up $19.97.

Apparently, at this store they're sorting out the remaining clearance games in the back room, since their cases used to be crammed full of games all lined up spine out. But now they have some sort of plywood and glass case in the $19.99 and under bin with mostly recent titles in it.

I wonder how long it's going to take before they sort out the remaining clearance titles though.

Oh and I checked the HD-DVD drive for the 360 they STILL have sitting in the case with the 360 games: $49.97

It'll be there forever.

Which Sears in NE Ohio had these items? The few that are in this area have absolutely horrible deals whenever I visit. Thanks in advance.
 
So pretty much everything that was $5 is now $2 or $3? That would be awesome if I hadn't happily bought everything for $5 last time, haha. Still gonna check it out tomorrow. I would very much like an EOJ bundle, hint hint.
