Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

You're shitting me. Are you serious?! That's great! I've been stuck without a printer since those cartridges are so expensive.
 
Puzzle Collection is $2.00 for the Wii. I'll make sure to bring a list with me next time, I can't trust the price tag on these games. :)
 
The mall of America sears has 3 more rock band se for 19.97 each tucked away in a corner unmarked. They also had one Sony 350 bluray player in their blue Ray section for 99.97.
 
I just picked up the last Nyko battery charger at my local sears, glad I went early being that was the only one left on the rack. The two guys at the counter were like," is there anymore over there?" Nope I got the last one!:applause:

Not sure if this has been mentioned but the $4.97 Nyko battery packs aren't compatible with newer 360 controllers. I found out the hard way after trying to use them this morning.

Looks like you can contact Nyko support and have them send you new ones.

It was mainly as a joke that I started calling it Bukkake. The Cranium part made me think of a face and Kabooki is kind of a weird word, but the game comes with a mask (so it doesn't get in your eyes) so Cranium Bukkake was born.

I'm kinda surprised to see its broken free of the BBV thread, but what can I say, its a sticky situation.

Here's what was cooking at my local Sears today:

PS2 memory card 2 pk $4.97

Wii Nyko Power Adaptor $4.97 (is it bad that I bought this not knowing if I'll ever even open it?)

HP 45 Black Ink Carts $10.97

Lego Batman DS $19.99 (What? I thought this was supposed to be $1.97?)

PS3 Viking $9.97 (again, why such a high price?)

PSP Monster HUnter Freedom 2 $24.97 (wtf...)

PS3 Quake Wars Enemy Territory $4.97 (reasonable)

360 Guitar Hero Aero $2.97 (bought 2 for the price of one as the cashier neglected to scan both, 2nd time that's happened in this store. Still paid too much loll)

360 Rock Band SE for the low,low price of $111.97 (yes I bought it, going to attempt a return rebuy at a Sears across town)

Sony Blu-Ray Player $99.97 (floor model, still couldn't resist, I guess my bedroom needs a blu-ray player).
 
Found a 360 Rock Band SE bundle for $14.97 today. The cashier's reactions to the clearance prices are frequently amusing, but this was probably the best one ever. When it came up on the screen his jaw literally dropped -- he said the last time that he had checked it, it was still $149.
 
I've been thinking about go to my local sears to find some of these great deals but was wondering if they're under a "Clearance" isle or something special i'm suppose to look for? And i don't go to sears often so is there a price checker also around there?

That one dropped to $2.97 (found in Colorado). Picked it up, but it's a bit of a mess. Apparently, Belkin routers cause the game to freeze, so I have to turn off my network connection in order to play the game. Other than that, well worth $3.

Some Sears have clearance sections, some don't. Some mark the clearance prices, some don't. Some have price checkers, some don't. Basically, the whole thing is YMMV. All you can do is go and see what you can find.

For what it's worth, the stores that don't have clearance sections or mark the clearance prices are the best, because they don't get picked through nearly as quickly.

Also has it been confirmed that Civilization Rev. for PS3 is 4.97? I'd head out tomorrow for the game at that price...sadly I picked a copy up, and put it right down without scanning it, not my moment in the sun.

I used to hit that mall, as well as Carousel and the other mall up in Syracuse and the surrounding areas when I was driving for a car dealer to the two or so auctions up there(CNY in Lafayette and Tri-State a lil further up).

I never really scored that many really good deals up there, except for penny guides, as I used to walk out with a cartload after every drop from the Carousel Best Buy. I still find it weird that there's no Gamestop in the Carousel Mall though, since it's such a huge mall.

As for my finds yesterday, you guys are gonna hate me.

I found 3 more Vision cams yesterday(but two went to GS for $10.57 per set for cam and headset to offset my costs to buy them). I kept one though, which is going on my TL for a day or two.

I also picked up a single guitar GH: Aerosmith set for PS2(with wireless guitar) for $1.97.

I also spotted 2 copies of Mercenaries 2 for PS3, but they were coming up $19.99 and not on the clearance schedule.

I didn't see ANY of the clearance USB flash drives, but that's ok since I don't really need any at this point.

I had no luck with Mercs 2 either. As for the Vision cams, yup, hate you.
 
LOL Now if I could just have the same luck with the 120 gb HDDs, I'd be set, since everybody would wanna trade easily for those.

Thing is, you shoulda seen the look on the clerks face when they came up $4.97. It was hilarious, since once I saw they came up $5, I told him I wanted the other two as well. This was after having checked in the back stock room and seeing there's none there.

He literally threw the other two on the counter before scanning them. LOL
 
He probably did, since he looked pretty annoyed that I was grabbing all three. But I did tell him that the 120 gb HDD should be $25 or so, so in case he wanted a deal he could have that.

But this was after he said they didn't have any HDD's and before he threw the cameras.

I live in Auburn, about half an hour outside Syracuse. The Sears in the mall by me doesn't carry games, so for my clearance fix I have to go to Great Northern. Good to know the Carousel BB is good for penny guides tho ;) I've only scored penny guides one time so far in all my cagging (that's right I made it a verb!)

Found one of those Xbox Live Vision Bundles for $4.97 today and was wondering what is the arcade game that comes with it? I have not opened this yet because im not sure what im going to do with it....

Mine were all Uno that I got. I can't figure out how to download the game for free though. When I go to the Uno screen there is only outright purchase, no option for promo codes. I wonder if you have multiple Uno codes that you can get a replacement game?

Fantastic Four = $2.97 (My 7-year-old son and I just played for an hour. Awesome for 3 bucks, but I'm glad it wasn't much more.)

Went looking for a Lost Odyssey and found a 360 Vision Camera. No luck finding the game. If anyone wants to trade a Lost Odyssey for the camera please let me know.

I grabbed my copies at 4.97, haven't seen any since then. I'm sure people have already confirmed the most recent drops as well. Got a Live Camera and Nyko Dual Battery for 4.97 each.

The last time I was up to Carousel was just after Circuit City had gone out of business and they had ZERO penny guides on the shelf in BB. It was a shock, since they usually never pulled any of them. The only BB I had luck with getting any of them from the last time I was up there was the Shoppingtown Mall, I believe. The Kmart and Best Buy that's right near there had some sporadic deals too.

Like I said, I've hit all three of the really major malls up in Syracuse area and I believe it was you who told me that the mall near you doesn't carry games in the Sears. Otherwise, I was tempted to hit that one the last time there too.

That reminds me that I should check with the dealer I used to go to auctions with to see if they need any help for this coming Friday, as it's been forever since I hit Waverly, NY and the one mall up the road from there.:D

Sickest part about the Vision Cams is that the package comes with the official wired 360 headset too and a code for a free month of XBL and a downloadable game(every one I've bought thus far has been for UNO), so even if you sell the cam and headset to GS for $10 in cash(or $12-13 in credit)you're still making out like a bandit since the month of XBL and UNO are worth about the same price as the cam & headset.

Ha, 6 behind the counter pretty much meant employees have claimed them. You're lucky they actually left some on the shelves.

I was happy to see 4 Cranium Bukkakes at my local Sears but the game rang up at $29.99. Stupid YMMV Sears clearance prices. They can be such a tease at times.
 
Back when I still had a PS2, I was keeping an eye on a copy of the Samurai Jack game for it, which my store never dropped to $5 or whatever it was supposed to have been at the time.

Then, it just disappeared the one day(like the 2 copies of Bioshock at the Sears I hit yesterday), so someone must've finally done their job and updated it's price and it must've got snapped up.

If I knew it wouldn't have cost around $10-15 to ship it, I would've gladly bought the other two GH: Aerosmith bundles for PS2 I saw yesterday for $2 each for those who can't find them at their stores. But after paying the real shipping costs, I don't think it would be much of a deal for anyone.

I was surprised the cams were left at that Sears yesterday, since after my last run there for cheap games the shelves were cleaned out by someone else.

Oh well....either way I still made out like a bandit yesterday. I'm probably gonna put the 5 UNO and XBL codes I have up on my TL as a trading bonus for those who manage to find stuff I want and trade me for it.

I agree. I found another Naruto 2 for Wii and was excited, because I'd gotten it at another store for $3 and handed it off to my nephew. Wanted one for myself since I just bought a Wii, but it rang up at $20.

I grabbed it anyway. Any CAGs know if I can go to the original store and have it price adjusted there? I got both receipts and haven't opened the game-- I figure if they don't wanna play ball, I'll just return it outright.
 
Picked up Guitar Hero Aerosmith for 360 and PS3 for 2.97. Then I promptly went to Toy's R Us where I traded them in for 5.25 and 7.25 store credit. Eff Gamestop.
 
Do Sears Grands also have these types of clearances? One about a hour away still has some Blu-Ray players left. Wondering if I should make the drive or not.
 
I'm going hunting tomorrow after work for two more Live Vision bundles. With the one I already have, I can turn $15.87 into $44+ at GS with the 25% bonus credit to payoff my copy of ODST. :D

And have three months of Live to use, and 3 copies of Uno to trade. :D
