Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

Apparently so, since others have mentioned getting it for 90% off already numerous times, yet I've checked that copy every time I've gone there and it was $29.99 many times.

It sucks that that store went from being a good store to being crap in like 2 months though, since I was having fun just going there and cherry picking stuff. They had a clearance tag on the magnetic rack where the EOJ bundles were for $55.97, though I'm sure they were $9-10 when they sold out.

LOL I would never do return/rebuy at the full price of ANY game, no matter how bad I wanted it.

It seems that most any game I've ever wanted from a clearance I've later found at the price I wanted to pay, so I'm hopeful I'll find another copy of Bioshock for like $5 eventually.

Hey Man I dont think those copies will ever drop because they are tagged and scan at that price and I had those price checked at least once a month since like June..
 
2 Sears I have been to have it for $29.99 for months. 1 of those also have Guitar Hero 3 game only for PS2 for $19.97 for months. Should be $1.97 by now
 
I've been able to return/buy full priced items from SEARS.com but will never do it again! They advertise price matching online in regards to B&M price but they won't actually do it. Also tried to price adjust but managers at B&M won't do it. Folklore 59.00 adjusted to 2.97 is too much for them to stomach lol. I had to return 30 minutes before closing. The clerk reshelved the items right in front of me. I came back at opening and re-bought everything. Shipping did add about $3 to every item but I was okay with that. It was the hastle that sucked. In addition to folklore I got:
2x Civilization 360 39.00 => 4.97
2x GH Aero bundle ps3 69.00 =>1.97
Again I wouldn't recommend this, especially with prices going back to MSRP, but just sharing if someone thought about doing this.
 
Found Guitar Hero Aerosmith (X360) at the King of Prussia store for $2.97, which was funny because it was next to Rock Revolution for $49.99. The cashier couldn't believe any game was marked that low.

And there we go, much cleaner. And I added the price of the action replays I have noticed so the DS Accessories list isn't empty.

Also, the stores around me go in cycles of being good and bad, and I have come to figure out certain ones are better for certain things. The closest one to me is great for find accessories and big box items, the one to the north is good for finding most of the big name clearanced items, the one to the south is good at keeping everything up to date and even lowering the prices on some of the things making them more worth getting (like push NCAA 07 down to $.43.) Anther even farther north is pretty good at finding stuff, but they can bit hit and miss of ever putting something on clearance. A Sear Essential is like that too, when I go to it I will ether walk out with bags of overlooked stuff, or nothing at all. And the ones even farther south are pretty mixed.
 
Got Tony Hawk's Proving Ground :)360:) for $2.97. I thought this was an unreported drop but it was mentioned earlier.

Don't know if it's just my store but all the newest clearance games had green stickers, whereas the old ones are white or pink. Additionally, they were all in their own basket next to the other bins. Other stuff was uninteresting, like Spiderman WOS for $15 (wii/360).

My sears doesn't mark anything on clearance anymore. They made a $29.99 and under bin and everything is just retail 29.99 and under. I think I saw Jeanne D Arc for PSP for 12.97 and that was it. They still were asking 19.99 for cars on the Gamecube.

Same with mine. My store has $15 Rock Bands and PS2 memory cards, so I guess that is a good thing. But the rest of the clearance is a just bin of $30 games. There is a lot of good things, so hopefully they will drop to a respectable price.

Cars was $1.97 over the summer, might still be that price or out of the system by now.
 
I found a Sears in East LA that had tons of old games except they were in a case with just the spine showing. It's funny because I saw Assassins creed original and greatest hits, along with Oblivion GOTY and many others. I'm pretty sure a fair number of them were not greatest hits versions since the spine color for those are a little more gray. I'm pretty sure I even saw an original Dead Rising. Could be a gold mine if someone wants to ask the clerk to pull and scan. Are there any so cal CAGs?
 
Why didn't you just find someone and ask them to scan them? I know if I found a Sears with a ton of old shit still in stock, I'd probably be asking them if they had any older TV's in the back.

Who knows, maybe one of the employees would price an older tv at $1 for ya. You never know till you try.
 
I was on vacation and just passing through, so it's my first time there. I would've definetely gone through the whole case, but that's the breaks. Hopefully I can make some lucky CAG happy.
 
That's why I miss going to all of the auto auctions I used to for work, since 70-80% of the time the dealer I went with just took a vehicle up for transportation and tossed me the keys after we got there.

It allowed me to hit areas far and wide in NY that I would probably never go back to on my own with gas rising as it is again.

I used to hit Poughkeepsie, Middletown, Newburgh, Binghamton, Ithaca, Big Flats and Syracuse and all of the surrounding areas up there.

They used to get a laugh when I would come back from random Best Buys with a trunkload of penny guides or 10-20 games from various clearances, especially once I told them what I bought them for.

I miss those days.
 
There haven't been many updates. Anyway, I got these.

I've had no luck finding a 512mb card for XBOX360. I really need one to transfer stuff from my old HDD to my new one. If anyone could help me I'd really appreciate it!

My one local Sears HAD those 512 mb memory cards for the 360 for the longest time, but I guess once they dropped to $1.97 or whatever they're at now they all disappeared.
 
just got back from my local sears, haul there was decent...

Xbox 120 gig hdd, 9.50 apiece, bought one for me one for my best friend.
xbox 512 memory card, 0.75
ps2 memory card 2 pack, 1.97


funny story behind it, the hard drives rang up 19.97, and the memory card 1.97. Then i realize i left my wallet in the car. Run back out to the car, come back in and he rings it up again. This time they ring up 9.50 and 0.75. He thought it was a mistake at first, voided and rang it up again and sure enough they dropped while i went out to the car somehow.

Don't suppose there's any chance there were more hard drives, or that they'd even be there if you were to go back, but I'd gladly pay cost + S&H (perhaps a bit more) for one.

Great find. I passed up the memory cards at my store, as I had no use for them. I am still on the hunt for the 120GB HDD.
 
The Sears near me hasn't had a decent clearence in almost a year. I check back monthly and nothing changes.

If anyone can get hold of an Eye of Judgement and a 360 memory card on clearence, will you PM me please?
 
I found a few cheap games at SEARS today.

psp naruto ultimate ninja heroes 1.97
psp mlb 08 the show 2.97
psp tiger woods 07 2.97
ps3 the darkness 3.97

Just got the walmart rock band psp bundle, so this find was perfect. These games weren't there a week ago...maybe from inventory in the back.

BTW... these were all labelled with the correct price.

I just got back from a shopping trip and I saw some DS Lite's on clearance for around $109. It seems like the older Black and Pink colors are being clearanced. Saw various cheap games like Clubhouse games for 14.97, some spiderman for the DS, Madworld and Pikmin for the Wii and some sports games. I wanted the action replay for 1.97 but no luck on that.

You can often get a DS Lite for $99 when they go on sale at various stores so this isn't too great of a sale, but if someone wants to check their Sears you might run into one.

Stopped by a Sears that had a bin that was $.97-$19.97, and that was completely empty except for a few things here and there, nothing worth picking up. Then turning the corner and found a lone GHIII leaning against the shelfs. The box was so beat up that the security device was pretty much the only thing holding it together., but I was thinking for ~$7, why not. Get it priced checked: $49.99.:roll:

Ouch, tough break. I've been low on money, so I haven't been able to join in on the deal hunting for awhile.
 
I've been low on cash lately too and it's been the few deals from selling clearance games on Craigslist that have been keeping me in a little cash to be able to do some more hunting.

Craigslist huh? I made a list there once, but it never showed up nor did I get any hits. Doesn't hurt to try again I guess.
 
sorry guys had other things to do these days but i havent forgotten about the op. i messaged cheapyd about the data loss and sort of ask why it happened. for some reason when i last updated it part of it became HTML and some still remained the same.

but anyways.. a big thank you to over here, shrives and drkirby for reviving that part of the op (even if you didnt, its still great that you help worked on it) i wouldnt have known what to do. maybe i will think of something easier to manage next time to prevent huge loss. but again thanks!!!
 
i added the DS Lite's that are on clearance. pray to the clearance gods that it goes down even further next friday, otherwise we wont be able to see that anymore after black friday.

You have to enter in two words usually after clicking 'continue' at the bottom of the screen after making your ad up. They do it to prevent scammers from flooding the site with spam, but there's still tons of that.
 
Even if they drop another $20, they are still going to be too expensive for me (no reason to spend a lot to upgrade when I have a regular DS that works fine). I'd probably go for one at $59.97 or $49.97. I at least hope they stay locked in the case untagged at my local store.

As IAMTCG said there's a captcha type entry dealio. They usually will send you an e-mail with the approval link as well.
