True, and yet almost every seller here does that. I would love to see this enforced more strictly. Can't ask someone to pay fees let alone pay f&f A.k.a. Gift
I agree 1000%. Way too many people ask to send money using the "gift" option. If you dont want to lost the small percentage on your $3.00 transaction or whatever it is then make it $3.25. I've walked away from a few transactions and a few others I was tempted to just send it the "proper" way anyways but then you have to worry about negative feedback from the seller in retaliation. This policy really should be enforced better (at all?).True, and yet almost every seller here does that. I would love to see this enforced more strictly.

This.the problem I have with gifted payment is simple, my country doesn't support it, I even contacted a paypal representative asking them why I can't gift payments, and they said: The only country that supports it is north america. I wouldn't mind gifting if I had the option, but there's some sellers (won't say names) that even after saying that I was going to pay fees, won't accept the payment.
Most likely the codes you were trading for were either from the GameStop promotion or the Best Buy promotion. Both sets of codes expired on 12/31. The only other promotion I am aware of is from Bing, those codes are probably still active.HAVE:
$5 Amazon (US)
WANT:
$5 Xbox (US)
FYI: I have attempted to trade with 2 different CAGs through the past week and while they provided me valid codes they were not ultimately redeemable because they had recently expired. something I quickly found out as I immediately wanted to redeem the codes. these CAGs were very friendly and apologetic about the situation so this is not about bad traders or anything like that. it's more of a heads up about checking to see if any of your Xbox currency has recently expired (if that information is available to you). as only checking if the codes are valid won't alert you to any problems. only when trying to actually redeem the codes will an error pop up. I don't believe M$FT will cut you a replacement code either.
