Today I am going to give my personal picks of the new, and the old, gems in the PS1 PO section. Buy 'em.

Shadowman $1.49 b/c

3D Action/Adventure - interesting story about a man killed prematurely and torn between the world of the living and the dead. See areas through multiple vantage points and regain control of your existence through unnatural powers. (No it's not LOK: Soul Reaver.. but close!)

Shadow Master $1.99 b/c

1st person shooter - battle demons in this stylized first person game with an interface similar to Metroid Prime.

Overblood $1.99 b/c

3rd person survival horror - anyone who enjoys the stranger side of survival horror will appreciate overblood. Set in a futurustic world aboard a space station, battle for survival in a twisting plotline that will keep you guessing whether you're still alive or not.

Fade to Black $1.99 b/c

3rd person puzzle/adventure - this title was too ambitious for its own good. As the unofficial sequel to Flashback, become Conrad and join forces with a race known as the Ancients to defend against unkown invaders.

Darkstone $1.99 b/c

Top down 3d action/slasher - in homage to Diablo, Darkstone attempted to forge new ground as one of the first top down 3d action/slasher games.

Wipeout XL $2.99 b/c

3d racer - if you're a fan of f-zero type racers, you're a fan of wipeout. The great music and above par graphics still hold up today.

Shadow Madness $2.99 b/c

Action RPG - completely story driven, this game focuses on a plague that has taken hold of your land, killing off your friends and threatening your very way of life.

Martian Gothic: Unification $2.99 b/c

Survival Horror - first game of its type to tell a story from 3 perspectives simultaneously. switch on the fly between the 3 main characters to solve puzzles and help one another survive.

Nightmare Creatures $2.99 b/c

3d action - take the role of a young American in 19th centure londen slaying the nastiest of unholy creatures.

Fear Effect $3.99 b/c

3d action/puzzle - take on the role of one of two women as you fight crime and kiss each other. (the most eloquent and enticing game description ever).

That's enough for today... enjoy!

Actually Fear Effect 2 is what you are thinking about. The first game, which is what you linked to, is similar, but without the lesbian undertones.

well my pc took a dump on me last night (freaking power button broke AGAIN) so i wont have my Pc back till July 10 2005 so no Ebgames update for me for the next 3+ weeks. At least i will save some money. Hell i wont even be online only once or twice next week

I was happy to see Lunar this morning. I don't feel the need to spend $45 on it... but it's just nice to see it there.

I keep hoping for a copy of Dragon Warrior 3 (GBC) each morning, but haven't been lucky enough yet. Does anyone know what this goes for when it is in stock?
Hasn't Klonoa been that price a while?

When I first read this, I though they had dropped it from $14.99...which would have been rediculous.
That's the first time I've seen it @ $14.99, but it may have dropped to that earlier. If it happened within the last week I wouldn't know.
All these links are sending me to the main ebgames page..
I'm getting this problem too on some of the links...
Hasn't Klonoa been that price a while?

Nope, I think only recently the preowned Klonoa has dropped to $14.99. I know it was $17.99 for the longest time and that was the price I got mine at (minus the Cashforstash coupon and Edge card of course.).

onikage, some of the links you posted take me to EBGames.com homepage and not to the actual game, how come? It's only the last three you posted of Armored Core, Klonoa 2, and Ace Combat.

Not sure, but the AC link works for me.
onikage, some of the links you posted take me to EBGames.com homepage and not to the actual game, how come?
Because EBgames.com is messing something up, simple as that. It's not anything we're doing wrong.
Not sure, but the AC link works for me.
Actually, sorry I only said you, but now that I'm going through some of today's EBgames morning update pages a lot of the links are actually not working and just redirecting me to the EBGames homepage. Still, a lot do work and take me to their respective product pages. I wonder what gives, maybe something's up with EBGames.com?

Edit: I hope you don't feel like that I picked you purposely or was trying to pick you out.
There's one magic pengel left I snaged the other ;) http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/234034.asp
Congratulations. I know you were after that one for some time now. I already have it from the first TRU 50% off sale when I got it for $7.50 or something like that. I've opened it played about a quarter of it, but I need to get back into it and finally just beat it already.
Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble for Game Boy Color is still in stock. Does anyone know if this game is any good?

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/190673.asp
Great game. I particularily enjoy it. It's pretty fun, but note that it doesn't work on the SP/GBA Player, but the game is great if you have an older GBC or original GBA. It's tons of funs moving all over but in the later stages it become a real pain in the ass. It also sucks if the sensor breaks/won't work. That's what happened to my friend so he ordered one from EBgames and there sensor in Kirby's Tilt n' Tubmle was worse that his so refunded it.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/245072.asp - 1.99 DVD edition for the PC. Thought it was a good price, but the game on Xbox was absolute and utter crap. Don't knowif it fared any better on PC though, so it might be fun and for 1.99 it's not that bad of a price.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/146563.asp - Oh yaeh, this one's in again. Didn't see it posted earlier, but here it is. 7.99 b/c.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/244013.asp - And this right here is the big one my friends. $19.99 Shadow Hearts: Covenant. Didn't see this posted earlier and noticed the price drop now so I decided to post it. Everybody, buy this game. It is fucking great. I love it. Great price as well. Might be time to order another copy of it. Woo!

I'm also having the same problem with some of the links taking me to the EBgames hompage instead of the respective game. If I copy and paste the link into another window though it works as it should :)
I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it before...and if it is then whatever...but doesn't that girl look like either of Olsen twins?
My wife thinks she looks like Allison Mack.

Just fix it yourself?

For people who order alot of PS1 games from here .. how often are the games actually complete ? I know they say that all current gen have boxes and instructions, but how have you found that ps1 games are complete ?

I got my Elemental Gearbolt and Persona today. Both were disc only. : (

I have ordered a lot of PS1 games from them and from my own experience, it's about 50/50. I have gotten a lot of disc only games, a lot of complete games, and a few that don't have the manual. Lately, I have gotten more disc only games though. Possible trend?

All disc only - but in really good shape.

I've never once gotten one that was more than disc only. Maybe I'm just unlucky.

I actually got my first non-disc only PS1 game from ebgames today. Granted, the first batch I ordered are games that most people probably wouldn't take good care of. Today I got Grandia (complete and in near-mint condition) and Elemental Gearbolt (disc-only). So, I'm about 1 for 5 so far.

Bah .. guess this is not my place for ps1 games then .. I cannot have a disk only game .. extremely uptight about the games I get.

I have had about as bad of luck at EB B&M too. I will always find a used game that I would like, take it to the counter to check the disk, and it looks like someone took an SOS pad to the underside. What do people do to their games. It's such a shame...
As of right before this post, the post count was 1337, lol
No, the post before the post before your post was 1337.

I had meant to claim it, but I missed it. Oh, well. I can't stand "l33t" anyway.
No, the post before the post before your post was 1337.
Not on the forum listing page. But here in the thread, yes you're correct.

Its extremely rare for me. I've had better luck with the Dreamcast games being complete.

Its at the point where I don't even expect my brand new copy of Sol Divide to show up complete.

Up early again, with my Edge Card # and CC# in notepad ready to be copy/pasted.

I seriously have to stop waking up this early. x_x

Not a bad idea...

*types in my Edge Card # and CC# onto Notepad* :)

Heh, I figure if something comes in stock that I'm looking for, I'd rather not make a mad dash for my credit card.

It won't save tons of time, but it'll help.
