Just received Einhander today. No completeness, the disc is in great shape though. I don't mind it not being complete. This copy is going to be the copy I play with.

Speaking of a new thread, one thing I had been meaning to suggest is that when posting links, please post the name of the game and the price along with the actual link. The thumbnails for some games make the title impossible to read, especially where it concerns cartridges. Posting the price helps twofold. It lets someone decide whether or not to buy without clicking the link (remember time is of the essence during updates!:D ). And if the game is out of stock, then someone who wanted it can see what price to expect.

One other thing, and it might make me seem like more of an asshole, but...when posting links, please learn what is worth posting. Examples of what not to post: the first Suikoden or the first three Ace Combat games on PSOne. These games might be semi-rare/semi-valuable in general, but EB almost always has them in stock. If they go out of stock, they are usually back in the next day or two.

Then there's the infamous "New and sealed!!!111!1" Lunar. It's not in stock. It's some sort of leftover database artifact that shows up during every update. I think one CAG has gotten a copy in past few months. You can tell if it's for real by waiting for the update to finish (the number of total games in the PSOne section will stop changing), then refreshing and looking in the RPG section. Chances are, though, it will disappear when you refresh. If it's still there, congrats, it's in stock.

psyclerk--I think part the reason people don't post the prices, title, and quantity is because of exactly what you said... time is of the essence during the update, and I know that frequently I'm still browsing when I post something I found... don't have time to do all the extra info :)

Maybe it's just me, but this seems like it might take too much time given the few precious seconds that some of these games last. Maybe after the first 30 minutes when things have calmed down. Clicking on the link will tell you the name of the game, and the prices don't tend to change dramatically day-on-day.

You guys are joking, right? It takes maybe two seconds to type in a title, and another second to type in the price, slightly less if you drop the $ sign.
For the people who have been ordering/watching Ring of Red, has it been coming complete?
"Guaranteed to work. Includes instructions and original packaging." :)
For the people who have been ordering/watching Ring of Red, has it been coming complete?
It should, they promise all of the next gen games will.

This thread is important (so to speak) as a record of EBgames pricing and availability . . . always try to give a link (I save them in Favorites for later use) and a price (before coupons is fine) to help folks know what's up. You can always go back and edit your post to add the price if you are in a hurry at the moment.
I picked up Auto Modelista, Future Tactics, and ZOE for $9.72 A/C.

Thanks!
Good deal and not really a good game in the bunch :)

maybe ZOE . . . but still, 3 games for $10 . . .

Quantity is what the morning update is all about.

Worst comes to worst take those three to a Blockbuster and get any game for about $2.

Stretching that dollar is also what the morning update is all about.
does anyone know if buying a game for $20 pre-order of a game, then the game actually cost $49.99 when it does come out. Will EB honor their price or will they charge u an extra $30?
I'm not sure about online, but I've pre-ordered games like SOCOM II at 39.99 and was told the price was "locked in". (though I had to remind them when the game came out)

On a side note, I heard NCAA 2006 and Madden 2006 will be $60 at EB, but I'm "locked" at Gamestop for $49.99 (I sometimes shy away from CAG roots when I get my paycheck, which is usually a bad idea.)

Mind telling us what game?
Thanks wampa8jedi

that darkstalkers is tempting
Please, just call me Wampa ;)

And you're quite welcome... I've actually been waiting for a deal on it myself, and so I ordered a copy of it this morning. Sure, it didn't get the best of reviews but for $27ish, I can bite the bullet and enjoy it for what it is, rather than worrying about what it's not.

i used auto modellista at blockbuster for their trade in deal several times.. it gets
$5 in trade there by itself, so it paid for the game with their trade in 3 = any game $5 deal.

DAMN! I was waiting to put my order in until today when i'd go to the local EB and sign up for the Edge card.

Now I come back and find they raised X-Men Legends from $15 to $20, and raised Men of Valor from $2 to $10
According to PriceGrabber, you must buy a new copy to get the rebate.
According to the $350 check they sent me, you don't.

Does anyone know if the Red Ninja Xbox purchases from ebgames.com will qualify for the $10 gift voucher that is in the ebgames BM May 05 catalog?
According to PriceGrabber, you must buy a new copy to get the rebate.
As others have pointed out, this is a falsity--I've heard of numerous people doing just fine with pre-owned copies, and in fact, haven't heard a single person fail in the attempt :)
According to the $350 check they sent me, you don't.
I thought they sent back a bunch of $5 rebate checks separately, or thats what I read. Do they combine all of your rebates and give you one big check?
You did 70 of these?

Do they require a UPC symbol?
76, actually, but I did 70 in the first batch, which they confirmed receipt of and told me to expect the check(s) in 8 weeks. They do require a COPY of your UPC. I brought all the boxes into work and copied them.

They're on the way, so not here yet; could go either way.
I thought they sent back a bunch of $5 rebate checks separately, or thats what I read. Do they combine all of your rebates and give you one big check?
I sent in 3 at once, and got 3 different checks.
According to the $350 check they sent me, you don't.
They send them all as separate $5 checks. They don't come in an envelope either, so hopefully you have a good mailman, because they basically look like junk-mail postcards and could be lost easily. I got all mine so far. I'm still waiting on a $20 gift voucher from EB, then I will jump on some of these morning games hopefully. I don't really want to spend much more on games until the end of summer because I have a lot of longer games to get through still.

Saying they sent you a $350 check is misleading, especially when you didn't even get anything back yet. At least now I know what to expect (post cards), I'm mailing out like 40 or so tomorrow.

Lesson learned: Never wait on ebgames.com transactions. Buy the games you want right when you see em.
