Yeah there was only one copy. That's alright though, I've owned this game before and only played about 2-3 hours of it before my short attention span guided me elsewhere. That's why I couldn't decide if I would be able to force myself to actually play any more of it this time around.

I had ordered a new copy last week and it arrived yesterday - first time I had seen the non-Limited Edition version without the bonus soundtrack CD.

you can order the soundtrack from Atlus's website for $3..... that's what I did to complete my copy which I later sold on ebay for $55

I've already got the Limited Edition for myself (not sealed). I had gotten this one for a friend of mine and I don't think he'll really care about the soundtrack, he just wants to play the game. I was just unaware that they had even released a non-Limited Edition version.

Heheh no problem, I appreciate the advice. I've ordered from the Atlus web site several times in the past and always had good service and fairly quick turnaround.

Thats cause if its anything like my ps1 experiences from ebgames.com it will come in a generic cd case w/ no manual and the disc will be scratched to hell.

Actually, your copy already has that alternate cover artwork. All copies of the game do.

Take out the cover insert, and take a look at the back side, and you'll see that it's a 2-sided insert, each side featuring different artwork. That's where this "variant" cover is from.

I ordered Ridge Racer Revolution and Rage Racer from them recently, and the discs were actually resurfaced. The music in RRR's intro still skipped. Ah well, it was worth it to finally play everything in the series...
 
Ok weird... I got that "Air Hockey" game and it won't run on my PStwo OR my PS1. PStwo just gives a blank black screen and nothing loads. PS1 gives me a "Please insert a PlayStation disc" message. The disc appears to be in perfect shape too. I think someone else in the thread reported a similar problem. Anyone know what's up? My last resort will be to try it on a PlayStation emulator; if that doesn't work either than I guess I'll just return it.

they are sold out of tactics ogre manuals now. Glad i ordered me 3 when they had them in stock. needed 2 of them but have 1 for trade

Which worries me. This is one of those game I always figured I'd pick up down the line when it hit $10. But now that it appears to be OOP and the used price is going up, I might have to move quickly and grab a copy in the $15 to $20 range while I still can.

The game is still sealed. I didn't want to open it if only 10 copies with my copy's artwork had been made.

Someone out there hates 90% of the stuff that gets posted here. Someone else is looking for a good deal on Ghost in the Shell.

Because I dont look at reviews before I post stuff. Even if I did I wouldnt be able to memorize all the reviews for every game I post. Secondly, everyone has their own taste or reason for buying certain games. And lastly, I'm attempting to inform people of new, unusual, or semi rare games that were updated.

I picked up GITS at the B&M EB a couple months back, and really enjoyed it. It's a very fun shooter - I got hooked on it at the time until I had finished it. I didn't know nor care how it had reviewed at the time, and I still don't. I'd encourage anyone who's interested in the game to try it out, because I didn't think it was bad at all. For the price, you can't go wrong.

i dont even think the ps1 rpgs got anything new in all week. I think those days are long gone. i just go after ps2 and gamecube stuff now, i dont even look at the ps1 stuff until 5-10 mins after update
