Yeah, I've always paid for my OPM subscriptions though, just used the free 6 month thing to extend it.

I'm not that into either magazine but any gaming magazine is fun to read.

Damn, I just got tons of mags this week. 3 issues of C++ Journal, XBN (the last one?), Popular Science, Best Life, and Maxim (w/ Eva Longoria on the cover).
I also got American Hardline and Optimum Lifestyle, but they both came in an envelope.
Also, does anyone know if we're gonna get paid off for our XBN magazines. It seems kinda wrong if we do, considering we didn't pay for them. Couldn't they just switch it to another of their mag's?

i dont think they will. i heard many ppl say they going to switch to another sister mag. but the problem is that i dont know how to switch to the sister mag i wanted. i want to get OPM.
 
According to a customer rep at XBN, they will decide which publication to replace your XBN subscription with, once it ends.

I agree with your joke, but GMR is different. There have been no free or reduced subs and the main place to get subs is through EBgames . . . I doubt that EB is going to just leave people hanging on this . . . not if they want customers to continue being customers.

Glad to be of help, I figured I've mooched off of others for so long. I'm currently getting: Blender, a year tacked on to my EGM, and I'm waiting on my subs to Wired, some kids magazine, and whatever they decide to replace my Xbox nation sub with.
Looking for Play (not to be confused with Playboy), and Nickelodeon or some other mag suitable for a 7 year old, and maybe Home Theater magazine if you got it. Thanks yall!

I dont think anyone has gotten Tips & Tricks to work. Most of these are hit or miss and trial by error. Just keep trying and hopefully you'll find one that works, like I just did......

has anyone been able to get their free subs from vugames? i register that game for the free opm a couple months ago and it doesnt show up in their computer.

I just emailed them. There's a link somewhere on their customer service page (cant remember where). Just try every option until you see it. It took a couple of months, but mine's back to print. :)

oo thanx i emailed them a couple weeks ago but no answer yet. Did you ever receive a notification that yours was changed from dig to print or did it just show up. months sounds long and i just recieved my last issue from last years free sub.
