Amadeus is an awesome movie. I went into it thinking the movie was going to be lame, but the story really sucked me in. The story was really well put together and it was pretty damn funny.

As for the departed, I haven't seen it, but everyone I know who saw it says it was amazing. I wouldn't doubt it, Scorsese kicks ass.
 
Oh man you've gotta go more old school for the recommendations.

MiB and The Fugitive over 2001, LA Confidential, Unforgiven, Cool Hand Luke, Bullitt, etc?

Either way I think this is a pretty damn solid sale, I just wish I had a better perspective on the picture quality of some of these older releases (I know I need to not be lazy and get on highdefdigest or something like that).
 
One flew over the cuckoo's nest and departed will be good to have.
