Yeah it's scary, but not so much as other horror games that have released in the past few years, including Amnesia. The puzzles are super dull and the pacing makes certain sections incredibly predictable. Just got to a new section, do a puzzle while sneaking around some super creepy dude, run from said dude, and eventually reach another area where you repeat the same cycle as above. If it puzzles were good, it'd be one thing, but they are all essentially fetch quests with crappy save points. I do love this game, but it definitely has plenty of faults. 

 
Downloaded this last week. I started playing one night around 2AM. I played for 5 minutes and said "nope" and turned it off. I was too much of a pussy to play by myself. But I built up some courage when I got together with buddies. The necrophilia scene was hilarious and being chased by the Big Ass Dude has us screaming like bitches.

 
I don't understand why this game wasn't scary for me... I'm not the bravest gamer, but I do enjoy horror games. I guess I'm just more valorous than I thought I was... LOL
