Exactly, I have no clue why people have trouble doing it. I had to set one up for my little brother as well, took a few minutes. And it's sooo much easier to use than paypal, they don't try and steal your money through fees (or con you if you use the gifts function and shit goes bad). And it transfers way faster. Paypal takes what, 2 weeks? Amazon seems to take about 3 days.

I don't remember having to do that. I logged into my amazon account and then linked it to my bank account. Boom done.
I totally would've, but my amazon payments is STILL not working. Sorry chewy!

Amazon asked me for proof or who I was, and the original confirmation asked for SSN, name, address, etc.
Still haven't gotten that shit sorted out.
