can't really vouch for the TV itself, but if you have prime, I think the price to quality ratio can't be beat on this; even on black friday.

i think there is a 42 inch at best buy for 499 and a 32 inch for 399 ....

if black friday wasnt 3 weeks away i would jump on the 42 inch one ...... with prices this low got to wonder what black friay will bring..

The 50" was $669 on Dell.....I can see the 720p models going pretty cheap on Black Friday and through the holidays.

just got a Panasonic Viera U1 Series @ Walmart @ $778 ($46" / 1080p)

this is a pretty good price though, despite being x series

Panasonic - VIERA / 42" Class / 720p / 600Hz / Plasma HDTV would of been around 450 with the 10% best buy coupon last weekend but they did not have any in stock around me.... now its back to 550...

anyone know if that is a good tv

Second one only has 2 HDMI inputs, while the first has 3.

Those TVs have bad audio & at least one doesn't have analog audio out.

I have a Panasonic 32" TC-L32C12. Picked it up for around $375 a while back from Best Buy. Its in the bedroom so I wasn't looking for top of the line, but once setup properly has exceeded my expectations.
