Here are the prizes for the giveaway beginning 9/6:

First Prize - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (XBox 360, Playstation 3, or Nintendo Wii, Winner's Choice)

14ty6pu.jpg

Explore more of the hidden shadows of the Sith with this sequel to the hit game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Starkiller, Darth Vader's apprentice, returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader -- but instead of training his protégée as a ruthless assassin, the dark lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. The chase is on -- Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller.
With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsabers, Starkiller cuts a swath through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars films -- all in his desperate search for answers to his past.

Second Prize - The Godfather II (XBox 360 or Playstation 3, Winner's Choice)

2hz61ig.jpg

The Godfather II game goes beyond the film's story by setting players in the world of organized crime in 1960’s Florida, Cuba and New York.
After being promoted by Michael Corleone to Don of New York, players expand to new cities, as they build up their families through extorting businesses, monopolizing illegal crime rings and defeating new families in an effort to become the most powerful mob family in America. To help players manage their empire, The Godfather II introduces "The Don's View" -- an innovative strategy meta-game that allows players to oversee the entire world as they grow the family business. Using the Don's View, players will be able to build, defend and expand their crime rings, while keeping an eye on the movements and plans of the rival families. Players will also learn to master the business of organized crime by building a family of Made Men, hiring crew, handing out orders, and promoting their best men up the ranks.

Third Prize - You're in the Movies (XBox 360)

e00het.jpg

This is the game only, no camera included. Get ready for your close-up. You're in the Movies brings the cool factor to kitsch as you live out your dreams of becoming a scream queen, zombie or kung fu fighter. This game is the first and only game of its kind to literally transport players into a magical world of cinema mixed with the hilarious world of improvisation. Using the Xbox LIVE Vision camera, players’ actions are captured and placed into short, riotous films. Performances never end up on the cutting-room floor, and are never the same.

Fourth Prize - James Bond 007: From Russia with Love (Playstation 2)

2qxvyip.jpg

James Bond 007 : From Russia With Love will be the first game to put players in the universe of the classic James Bond films. Set in the original 60's Bond era, the game features movie-based missions as well as original, action-intensive sequences, a broad and deep variety of gameplay, fully-integrated vehicles, social multiplayer experiences, gorgeous women, and classic, upgradeable weapons and gadgetry with modern mechanics.
Used Lego Rock Band, ehh?

I assume the export code is used, which negates its practicality for a lot of people.
Yeah, that just killed it for me. Even though not fine print, you always gotta make sure you read everything!
So do these come with Valid codes? It is the deciding factor in my purchase.
Same. But im sure if used they would not know and its a 50/50 shot.

I checked the cases, and it seems that the vast majority of them do not include the sheets with the codes on them.

Dang i was going to buy it but i need the code with it. I guess i will wait for a deal again for it brand new. This is a great price if you want to just play lego rock band. I want to import them to rock band 2 so i have to wait i guess.

With the codes I would have been in for one but no codes kills it for me esp since Target has new copies on clearance for $24.98.

Lego Rock Band was the first one where I haven't paid to put the songs on the hard drive. I used the code, but then kind of balked at the $10 or equivalent price tag. I might eventually pay it, but doesn't seem worth it to me right now, as I got the game used for about $20 during a b2g1 Hastings sale a while back.

Even if the codes are there, it doesn't mean they haven't been used.

Has anyone ever traded games into gamedealdaily? I see that they offer very good trade in values, I am just curious as to the conditions games must meet in order to be accepted.

Obviously, the site says that games must be complete (i.e. case, manual, art and disc), and if any items are missing they will deduct from the value, however, there is no mention of conditions. I am assuming discs must be playable, but where where do they draw the line? Can discs be scratched to oblivion? Can manuals be tarnished with coffee rings or water damage? Can cases be cracked?

Just curious. Thanks

Just got the Bioshock 2 orders ready to ship. I opened one of the game up and there is no Asian writing on the disc, artwork, or instruction manual. The only difference is that they don't have the ESRB in Asia, so there's a red sticker on the shrinkwrap warning that the game is for mature audiences.

Is it possible to take a picture of it? I'm just curious.

It looks the exact same as the picture in the first post, except there's no ESRB logo in the lower left corner.
What kind of shipping do you use? Because I haven't gotten my PS3 headset yet.
We shipped the headsets USPS First Class. You can PM me your order information and I will look up your tracking number.

Thanks

Out of curiousity, what is this? The official motion controller isn't out for awhile, and I doubt anyone has been able to reverse engineer it, yet. So, I'm guessing this is a SIXAXIS in a Wiimote?

It's probably applying sixaxis-style control to the left analog stick.

Updated with today's deal on Resident Evil 5 for PS3, which comes with the Limited Edition Steelbook and the bonus disc from the Collector's Edition.
Updated with today's deal on Resident Evil 5 for PS3, which comes with the Limited Edition Steelbook and the bonus disc from the Collector's Edition.
Does this include all the other Collector's Edition items that it came with, or is it just the steelbook? Thanks

...probably a dumb question; I've just never seen it titled that way.
PLEASE give us Bioshock 2 on PS3 for 39.99, I guarantee you will sell out in no time for that price.
Covered it a few pages back, but the PS3 version of Bioshock 2 would run me about $7 more than the 360 version. I just don't think there would be enough interest for a PS3 Bioshock 2 for $47.

I would buy it...

the new ps3 headsets on sale not to long ago? I ordered 2 and only got 1. I've sent an email through google checkout and personally. I waited for 42 hours and still got no reply. I then had to ask google to meditate for me. They told me to give you 5 days to reply. Day number 5 and no response what so ever. I don't know if it's on the way or sold out or what...

Sorry about that! Just issued you a refund for the 2nd bluetooth headset and for the associated shipping costs.

I would like a reply to my PM about the PS3 headset I ordered almost three weeks ago, when you have time.

Thanks.

Just wanted to say that I got my Japanese Bioshock 2 today -- just a week after buying and a few days after drfrielgood said he was shipping -- and it's perfect. Except for a label on the shrink wrap, it's exactly the same as the US version inside and compares directly achievement wise. Thanks, gamedealdaily.com!

SingStar 80's is not bad at all...if you like Simple Minds and the Thompson Twins, that is. Lots of classic 80's music videos on that disc, too.

I have never ordered from gamedealdaily, are they pretty good with shipping. Do these games play in american systems?
anybody can tell me if this store has a good reputation?
I've never had a problem with them. Numerous people have, and it often has to do with getting a hold of docfrielgood. He's running a small operation, so he sometimes probably gets swamped with messages, e-mails, etc. I would say he's an honest guy, and he runs a honest business. As long as something doesn't lost/delayed in the mail or isn't damaged, you should be fine.
