Play import GC game on Wii

Anyone have luck playing GC import game on US wii without Freeloader?
I am still waiting for my freeloader and found a site that tell you have do do a trick without freeloader but so far I have no luck using the trick.

There was a swap trick someone came up with. There was a thread about it here a while back. But it was very 'iffy'. Even in the youtube demo video, it took the guy like 3 times before it worked. I'll go look for a link...

I've used the swap trick and can confirm that it works. My wife and I did it on the first try (its a lot easier with two people), and have done it maybe one or two more times after that, but it is very "fickle", for lack of a better word. After failing to do it again for 10 times, we pulled out the modded GC D.
